Fiene-chan earned a mountain of EXP during the Royal Capital defense battle, including her share of the spoils. In terms of raw status, she has already surpassed Chris-san.

However, since she lacks the skills necessary to fight on the front lines, she likely wouldn’t win in a fight against Chris-san.

That said, the fact that she can move properly in combat and has great reflexes is a testament to her high status.

By the way, since she became a Priest, Physical Enhancement is now a compatible skill, but because she didn’t study up for it properly, it didn’t “sprout.”

Shizuku-san, having quit being human, has evolved even further.

She seems to be stocking her SP without using it. Since she hasn’t sprouted any Attribute Magic or Magic Sword, the fight against the Black Rainbow Empire soldiers relies on Fiene-chan.

She seems like she’d be strong once she masters Foxfire, but she’s still struggling immensely with it.

○   Hero

One day, a person suddenly receives an Oracle and becomes a Hero.

There are no precursors; it is said that lineage, birth, and upbringing have absolutely no relation to it. Generally, it is believed that the Oracle is delivered in conjunction with the appearance of a Demon Lord. (Refer to Chapter 5)

○   Demon Lord Alert

Priests and Mikos in various regions receive vague Oracles hinting at the appearance of a Demon Lord.

This is combined with the monster activity levels independently investigated by each nation to calculate the alert level.

None: At this point, the possibility of a Demon Lord’s appearance is low.

Advisory: There is a possibility that Demon Lord Eggs are being born in various places. Be cautious of monster aggression.

Elevated Alert: High possibility that Demon Lord Eggs are gaining power. Prepare for an increase in monsters and their aggression.

Alert: High possibility that a Demon Lord has been established. Each nation must hurry preparations to survive.

Final Alert: The invasion by the Demon Lord begins. Humanity must join hands to deal with the threat.

Furthermore, once an “Alert” is issued, monster attacks temporarily subside, and once the “Final Alert” is issued, they begin a full-scale invasion of the human world (Refer to Chapter 5).

○   Mixed Monster Stampede

In a normal Monster Stampede, monsters surge toward towns under the leadership of a Higher Species.

Therefore, if different types of monsters cooperate to attack humans, there is a possibility that they are being led by something other than monsters, such as the Demon Race (Refer to Chapter 6).

○   Treatment of Saints in the White Moon Kingdom

A “Saint” refers to someone chosen by a Holy Knight who has received proof at the Temple; this is different from “Saint” as a Class.

Therefore, although Fiene and Charlotte have not yet become Saints as a Class, they are treated as Saints.

A person ceases to be treated as a Saint only when their rosary loses its luster.

Additionally, when a Saint-sama marries, they can receive a special peerage called Saint Peerage and a territory called Saint Territory from His Majesty the King.

While the Saint Peerage cannot be inherited, by custom, the legitimate child carrying the blood of a Saint Peerage is granted a peerage of Baron or higher.

○   World Saint Protection Accord

A global agreement establishing the obligation to protect Saints chosen by God and prohibiting their use in war.

All nations except the Golden Sun Miko Nation have joined.

It also prohibits the use of Saints in conflicts between nations.

○   Church Teachings Regarding Monsters

The Church teaches that monsters are mirrors reflecting human sin. Monsters are the end result of those who possessed evil or wicked hearts and committed sins; by showing their terrifying forms to humans, they teach the horror of such sins.

Humans are urged to discipline themselves by watching monsters run wild, kill, deceive, and commit sins, and are taught to love their family, friends, and lovers, and to fill this world with prayers to God, hope, and love.

Furthermore, by being killed by a human with a righteous heart, a monster is liberated from its sinful form, and its soul is guided to the presence of God.

Therefore, when encountering a monster, one must maintain a heart of love and mercy, and kill it with a smile.

○   Regarding the Holy Sword

The Holy Sword guides its owner to the Saint they should serve. When the owner pledges an oath to the Saint, their Class changes. (Refer to Chapter 16)

○   Medicinal Enchantment

Generally, it is believed to be a method of amplifying a medicine’s effect to turn it into a potion, but in reality, under specific conditions, certain magic can also be enchanted into the medicine (Refer to Chapter 35).

Note: This phenomenon was unknown until now because no one who could use Healing Magic had ever thought to become a Magic Apothecary.

○   Magic Sword

Allows the user to load the effects of magic onto a sword to attack. The names of the techniques can be decided freely (Refer to Chapter 58).
