THE THIRD VOLUME. I can’t believe we’re at the third volume! Not only that, the first volume of the manga was released at the same time. That installment has a lot of characters, so there are a ton of dresses and jewelry. It must’ve been a lot of work to draw! Since I’m not great at art, I can’t even imagine. I’m so glad I get to read the story of the duke’s daughter as told by Suki Umemiya’s beautiful work.
I had to ask for a lot of favors from my editor this time around. I wrote so much that I wasn’t sure if it would all fit in one volume. But if it had to be split up, the first volume would’ve ended on quite the cliffhanger! It all started when I told her I couldn’t cut down anymore scenes. Once she gave me the okay on that, I started thinking about scenes I wanted to add…and I just got even more demanding! She was a brand-new editor for me, too, so I’m really sorry for all that!
Thanks to her, I was able to present my readers with a substantial story, and I’m glad it turned out the way I envisioned it.
Finally, I’d just like to thank all of you. I’ve only come this far because of my readers and everyone who has supported me. Thank you so much.
