Volume 1, Chapter 63 – The Chaos Scripture
[The Grand Void Art (immortal-grade): 70,000 Master Dao Points. The Grand Void is formless, and all laws return to one. When cultivated to the extreme, the cultivator may transform into the Grand Void and contain the myriad Daos.]
[The Chaos Scripture (transcendent immortal-grade): 100,000 Master Dao Points. When chaos first opened, yin and yang were divided. When cultivated to the extreme, the cultivator may command the power of chaos and create a world.]
[The Nine Revolutions Profound Art (immortal-grade): 50,000 Master Dao Points. Sanctify the physical body through nine revolutions. When cultivated to the extreme, it can forge an indestructible body.]
[The Great Dream of a Thousand Autumns (immortal-grade): 80,000 Master Dao Points. Within three thousand great dreams, truth and illusion are difficult to distinguish. When cultivated to the extreme, the cultivator may attain the Dao within dreams and transcend the cycle of life, death, and reincarnation.]
Every one of these cultivation methods was astonishing enough to shake the world. If any of them appeared outside, it would be enough to unleash a storm of bloodshed.
Their prices had also been more than enough to make the former Gu Han shrink back.
Her gaze lingered on the many tempting cultivation methods.
The Grand Void Art was ethereal and transcendent. The Nine Revolutions Profound Art was domineering and forceful. The Great Dream of a Thousand Autumns was mysterious and unfathomable…
Yet when she saw the Chaos Scripture, a strange throb came from the depths of her soul.
Chaos first opened, yin and yang were divided… and a world could be created?
Although she had been an overworked corporate drone in her previous life, she still knew many myths and legends.
“The Great God Pangu once split heaven and earth apart… and created an entire world…”
Gu Han’s eyes narrowed slightly.
Although this body belonged to this world, the essence of her soul came from another world.
She had arrived in this world and founded Yaochi Immortal Palace. From the perspective of this world, could that not also be considered another form of “creation”?
The Chaos Scripture seemed to possess an inexplicable compatibility with her experiences.
“This is the one!”
Gu Han no longer hesitated and locked onto it with her thoughts.
[Ding! Consumed 100,000 Master Dao Points. The Chaos Scripture has been successfully exchanged!]
[Current remaining Master Dao Points: 64,650.]
Following the System notification, a vast and unimaginable torrent of information surged into Gu Han’s sea of consciousness.
It was not composed of simple words or images, but countless primordial Chaos Dao patterns and heaven-opening imprints.
It was as though an entire universe exploded in the depths of her soul.
Then, amid endless darkness, primordial existence was first divided. Yin and yang separated, the clear rose while the turbid sank, earth, fire, water, and wind surged, and the embryonic forms of all things gradually emerged…
Rеаⅾ оո KαtReαԁіոgСαfe
This was a Dao even more ancient than the Primordial Unity Immortal Scripture.
Primordial unity encompassed and evolved all things, while the Chaos Scripture represented pure creation and the opening of new worlds.
It used supreme power to establish laws within nothingness and begin a new era.
“Boom!”
The aura surrounding Gu Han began to boil beyond her control.
Her silver hair whipped wildly despite the absence of wind, and her moon-white gown snapped loudly.
With her at the center, the space inside the main hall began to twist and tremble.
Had the main hall not been reinforced by the System and constructed from special materials, the impact would likely have shattered it long ago.
Sensing the abnormality, Gu Han swiftly focused her mind and temporarily suppressed the vast inheritance, sealing it deep within her sea of consciousness.
“It is far too profound. There is no chance of even gaining an initial grasp of it overnight. I will need a great deal of time to comprehend it.”
Gu Han slowly exhaled a breath of turbid air, and the aura around her gradually calmed.
Having resolved the matter of her cultivation method, Gu Han was in an excellent mood.
She turned her gaze toward another corner of the System Storage, where several hundred yellow-rank and profound-rank supreme-grade artifacts and jade slips were stored.
“System, place the artifacts in the storehouse and stock the Scripture Repository with the cultivation-method jade slips.”
[Ding! The artifacts have been deposited in the storehouse, and the cultivation methods have been added to the Scripture Repository!]
[Current status of the Scripture Repository: Floors one through three have been opened. A total of 2,395 cultivation methods, spells, and miscellaneous texts are now stored within.]
Following the System notification, Gu Han clearly sensed a faint tremor within the four-story Scripture Repository of the Immortal Palace.
Countless rays of spiritual light, some bright and some dim, emerged from the void. The previously empty bookshelves and jade-slip racks were filled at a speed visible to the naked eye.
The first floor contained yellow-rank cultivation methods, the second contained profound-rank cultivation methods, and the third contained earth-rank cultivation methods. At present, only a sparse few books occupied the fourth floor.
For now, however, this was enough to support the disciples under her sect as they cultivated all the way from Qi Refinement to Mahayana.
“At last, this place resembles a proper sect.”
With the Scripture Repository taken care of, she turned her attention to another urgent need: manpower.
Yaochi Immortal Palace currently had six powerful figures overseeing it: Li Hanyi, Yun Yun, Mo Lin, Fushan, Die Wu, and Yun Miaoyi. It was an exceptionally formidable lineup.
However, there was a severe shortage of elders who could provide hands-on cultivation guidance to the disciples and handle routine affairs.
Rеаⅾ οn ΚatRеαⅾinɡCαfе
They could not possibly make Mahayana and Tribulation Transcendence elders teach disciples how to draw spiritual energy into their bodies or identify spiritual herbs every time, could they?
That would be an outrageous waste of talent.
“System, exchange for five Random Elder Summoning Cards.”
With a thought, Gu Han issued another command.
[Ding! Consumed 10,000 Master Dao Points. Successfully exchanged for five Random Elder Summoning Cards! Current remaining Master Dao Points: 54,650.]
[Host, please focus your mind and envision the core qualities required of the elders.]
Gu Han closed her eyes and gathered her thoughts.
What she needed were dependable outer sect elders who could teach according to each disciple’s aptitude and patiently guide them.
Ideally, they would cover all five elemental attributes, allowing them to provide specialized instruction to disciples with different spiritual roots.
As Gu Han’s thoughts shifted slightly, the five summoning cards radiating soft light shattered simultaneously within her System Storage.
The space inside the main hall rippled in five places, like the surface of a lake struck by five stones.
Unlike the vast and profound disturbances that had accompanied the summoning of Li Hanyi and Yun Yun, these fluctuations were gentler and more restrained, carrying a quiet and steadfast quality.
Five figures stepped slowly out of separate spatial ripples almost simultaneously and came to a stop in the center of the main hall.
The first person on the left stood tall and straight. He was handsome, with sword-like brows and bright eyes. He wore a fitted golden outfit beneath a black robe embroidered with dark-gold cloud patterns.
A longsword hung at his waist. Its scabbard was ancient and plain, with faint dragon patterns carved across its surface.
The second was a woman dressed in an emerald-green silk gown. Her features were delicate and gentle, her brows and eyes as beautiful as a painting, and her presence resembled the softest spring breeze.
She held a vine staff topped with a gem brimming with vitality and radiating a rich aura of life.
The third was a man in blue robes. He possessed a refined bearing and a handsome, jade-like face.
In his hand was a white-jade folding fan painted with an image of vast, mist-covered waters.
The fourth was a tall woman in a red dress. Her beauty was brilliant and striking, and her brows naturally carried a heroic, valiant air.
A crimson longbow was strapped across her back. Its body appeared to have been formed from solidified magma and radiated scorching heat.
The fifth was a young woman in an apricot-yellow dress. She had charming features, and a trace of youthful innocence still lingered on her face.
In her hands, she held a small earthen-yellow seal engraved with patterns of mountains and rivers.
All five possessed cultivation at the peak of Body Integration. Each carried an extraordinary bearing, and all were remarkably attractive.

They had only just awakened from the summoning, and a hint of confusion remained in their eyes. However, they were quickly stunned by the unfathomable Gu Han before them and by the world around them.
The Power of Laws that invisibly connected them to the person before them allowed them to instantly understand their circumstances and mission.
All five bowed together. Their voices were respectively clear, gentle, refined, valiant, and steady.
“Jin Feng, Qingluo, Canghai, Hongying, and Xuanya greet the Palace Master!”
Gu Han swept her gaze over the five of them. Sensing the pure yet distinct five-element spiritual power within each person, she felt extremely satisfied.
As expected, anything produced by the System was of exceptional quality.
Every one of them possessed an earth-rank supreme-grade artifact perfectly matched to their attribute. Each artifact also had a distinct appearance and strong personal character.
Even in some first-rate sects, such equipment would be enough to make many people envious.
Yet in Yaochi Immortal Palace, this was merely the standard equipment provided to outer sect elders.
“Very good.”
Gu Han nodded slightly, a faint smile on her face.
“Jin Feng, Qingluo, Canghai, Hongying, and Xuanya, from this day onward, the five of you shall serve as outer sect elders of Yaochi Immortal Palace.”
“The Immortal Palace has recently recruited a group of new disciples. They will be formally assigned three days from now.”
“This is the current basic information regarding the Immortal Palace.”
As she spoke, points of spiritual light flashed repeatedly from her fingertips.
Five streams of information containing the Immortal Palace’s rules, organizational structure, current personnel, disciple information, and other details entered the space between their brows.
The five of them quickly absorbed the information, and the astonishment on their faces deepened.
Yaochi Immortal Palace…
Its Palace Master was at late-stage Immortal Ascension. Its Grand Elder was at the ninth heaven of Tribulation Transcendence. Its Deputy Palace Master was also at the ninth heaven of Tribulation Transcendence. It had four Mahayana elders, an immortal-grade spirit vein, and even the legendary innate spiritual root known as the Enlightenment Tea Tree.
How could this possibly resemble a newly established sect?
Its foundations and bearing were even more astonishing than those of many great sects with tens of thousands of years of history.
Serving here as outer sect elders was no misuse of their talents. It was an extraordinary opportunity.
The confusion in their eyes disappeared completely, replaced by clear reverence and eager excitement.
“We shall obey the Palace Master’s command! We will devote ourselves fully to teaching the disciples and faithfully carrying out our duties!”

The five answered in unison, their voices firm.
“Mm.”
Gu Han was very satisfied upon seeing their expressions.
“There are five mountains to the north of the Immortal Palace, each possessing spiritual energy of a different attribute. They are perfectly suited to your cultivation and teaching.”
“Once you have settled in, go to Cloudglow Peak in the east and report to Deputy Palace Master Yun Yun. She will assign your specific duties.”
“Yes! Your subordinates shall take their leave!”
After bowing once more, the five turned and calmly left the main hall.
The sunlight outside the hall was warm and bright, and the five stood bathed in spiritual mist and rosy light.
As the solemn atmosphere from inside the hall gradually eased, they exchanged glances. A mixture of realization and excitement could be seen in their eyes.
“This truly is a sacred land of immortals.”
Qingluo sensed the immense vitality in the air and smiled gently.
Hongying adjusted the Blazing Sun Bow on her back, her brilliant face filled with eagerness.
“Those disciples possess exceptional potential. I can hardly wait to see whether there are any promising seedlings with fire spiritual roots among them.”
Jin Feng stood with his arms folded, his sharp gaze sweeping across the orderly complex of halls in the distance.
“Teaching the disciples and stabilizing the outer sect are our foremost priorities. The spiritual energy and Dao resonance here will also be immensely beneficial to our cultivation.”
With a swish, Canghai opened the Vast Sea Cosmos Fan and smiled faintly.
“The foundations of the Immortal Palace far exceed anything we imagined.”
“Being able to teach here is also an opportunity for us. We must do our utmost and not fail the Palace Master’s trust.”
Holding the Five Sacred Mountains Earth-Suppressing Seal, Xuanya wore an earnest expression on her charming face.
“Let us settle in first, then go together to meet the Deputy Palace Master.”
The five nodded slightly and said no more. They transformed into five streaks of light in different colors.
They flew toward the five mountains north of the Immortal Palace, each possessing a different spiritual-energy attribute yet all equally blessed with natural beauty and spiritual abundance.
From that moment onward, the five great outer sect elders of Yaochi Immortal Palace had taken their places.
