Chapter 124 Deepening the Kiss
Chapter 124 Deepening the Kiss
Her movements were clumsy, landed on the corner of Luo Junhe’s lips, consisting only of simple rubbing and touching, yet it already made Luo Junhe’s heart pound like a drum.
All he felt was a soft warmth pressing against his lips, a subtle yet sweet sensation, and his breathing became scorching hot.
After realizing what was happening, Luo Junhe immediately turned from passive to active, pressing the back of her head and deepening the kiss.
Ji Yuntang had originally intended only a light kiss, but was instead tightly embraced as his hand wrapped around her waist, and a kiss full of tender affection surged toward her, overwhelming.
For a moment, time seemed to stand still.
Ji Yuntang forgot how to react, could only bear it passively.
Luo Junhe’s kiss was long and enduring, until the taste of blood spread between their lips; only then did he reluctantly release Ji Yuntang.
“A Tang, you are as sweet as this prince imagined.”
Not only were her lips sweet, but his heart also felt as if it had tasted honey, filled with sweet, pink bubbles of joy.
Ji Yuntang blushed; this was the first time she had seen Luo Junhe like this, his gaze as if he wanted to devour her.
But Ji Yuntang knew that, given Luo Junhe’s current physical condition, kissing was already his limit, and it was the only thing he could do with her for now.
If he wanted to go further, that was impossible.
“A He, you’ve heard the song, kissed and hugged me. Now can you go to sleep?”
What they had done tonight had already satisfied Luo Junhe. He suddenly felt that having Luo Qingge and Xie Liuzheng come to the Prince Ye’s mansion to learn music wasn’t so bad after all.
His little princess consort would make it up to him separately, and he liked that.
Luo Junhe was content, and thus no longer acted petulant. He curled his lips into a cheerful smile.
“Alright, I’ll do as A Tang says. If you tell me to sleep, I will sleep.”
After they each said “good night,” Ji Yuntang returned to her own room to rest.
The next day, after lunch, Ji Yuntang called for Chen Hu and Wang Sheng to bring Nanny Xu out.
She had Chen Hu bind Nanny Xu with a rope, holding the other end himself, and they took her to the Dali Temple to hand her over to the authorities for investigation.
After all, falsely claiming credit for saving his life, deceiving and humiliating the War God Prince, and embezzling silver from the Prince Ye’s mansion for decades were not minor offenses.
It would simultaneously ruin Nanny Xu’s reputation and let everyone see what kind of life Luo Junhe had been living in the Prince Ye’s mansion over the years.
Had Emperor Jingyang and Consort Li ever truly valued him?
Knowing that being tied up by Ji Yuntang meant trouble, Nanny Xu struggled wildly, her hair disheveled, and shouted, “Princess Ye, I am Prince Ye’s savior. Where are you taking me?”
“If you know what’s good for you, release me at once, or I will go to the emperor and lodge a complaint against you!”
Ji Yuntang crossed her arms, looked at Nanny Xu, and said nonchalantly, “Go ahead! If you can, go ahead. Let’s see if the emperor is willing to defend a treacherous servant like you who bullies subordinates and deceives superiors.”
In just three days, Nanny Xu had already lost a significant amount of weight, and much of her arrogance had diminished.
It was clear that her time in the woodshed had been far from comfortable.
If Nanny Xu was uncomfortable, Ji Yuntang was comfortable. She glanced at the others, then said,
“Chen Hu, Wang Sheng, take her! We’re leaving!”
“Yes, Princess.” The two responded, tugged the rope, and walked out, as if walking a dog.
Unable to struggle free, Nanny Xu immediately began to cry and shout, complaining about her unfair treatment.
Ji Yuntang’s eyes turned cold, and she ordered, “Gag her with a rag. She’s too noisy!”
Wang Sheng produced a smelly sock from an unknown place and stuffed it into Nanny Xu’s mouth. The smell almost made her vomit.
She immediately stopped crying and instead started dry heaving.
Ji Yuntang gave Wang Sheng a thumbs-up—this young man was clever and well prepared.
Chen Hu glanced at his own bare right foot, then at the sock in Nanny Xu’s mouth, and turned to Wang Sheng.
Wang Sheng smiled back politely and said, “Brother Chen, I borrowed one of your socks.”
Chen Hu’s mouth twitched. The western compound had limited rooms, and he shared one with Wang Sheng.
He had wondered that morning how one of his socks could have mysteriously disappeared.
So, it had been taken by Wang Sheng.
Indeed, no matter how introverted and shy a person was, once they followed the princess, their behavior turned eccentric.
When Ji Yuntang, Chen Hu, and the others stepped onto the street, the street immediately became lively.
People had seen dogs walked on leashes, but they had never seen a person being walked like that.
This spectacle prompted the onlookers to gossip.
“Princess Ye, who is this dirty, crazy old woman? Are you walking her like a dog?”
“Princess Ye, where are you taking her? Did a servant behave improperly, and you’re taking her to be sold?”
“Is selling a servant such a small matter that you need to handle it personally?”
Ji Yuntang smiled but said nothing. There were too many questions, and she didn’t reply to any.
Seeing that Ji Yuntang wasn’t responding, the people didn’t press further, instead enthusiastically following behind her.
If she wouldn’t say, they would just follow and see for themselves!
Upstairs in a tea house, Ji Qingqing and Ji Qingfeng were drinking tea when a sudden commotion reached their ears.
Ji Qingqing looked down and saw Ji Yuntang in a green long dress passing right below her.
Behind her, the Prince Ye’s mansion servant followed, holding a rope that was attached to a disheveled woman.
Ji Qingqing squinted, her clear eyes fixed on the woman.
The more she looked, the more familiar the woman looked, as if she had seen her somewhere before.
Suddenly, Ji Qingqing shuddered—she remembered!
“Second brother, look at the person our sister is leading—isn’t that Nanny Xu, the housekeeper of the Prince Ye’s mansion?”
When she had visited the Prince Ye’s mansion earlier, it was Nanny Xu who opened the door for her and accepted a bracelet worth three hundred silver taels from her.
She would never admit she was wrong about this person.
Ji Qingfeng merely glanced over and then looked away, saying, “I don’t know her. She’s just a servant, no big deal.”
Ji Yuntang, that bitch, had been acting strangely ever since she married into the Prince Ye’s Mansion, so nothing she did surprised him anymore.
Ji Qingqing, however, didn’t think so. She felt there was something suspicious about this matter.
“Second Brother, you may not know this, but Nanny Xu is no ordinary servant in the Prince Ye’s Mansion. It’s said she saved Prince Ye’s life, and she holds a high status there. Before sister married into the mansion, Nanny Xu basically managed everything there.”
“Now that sister has tied Nanny Xu up and paraded her through the streets, don’t you find it suspicious, Second Brother?”
