Chapter 392: He Is a Man
Luo Feizhou's face turned ashen as he demanded, "Ji Yuntang, what do you mean by that?"
Ji Yuntang smiled. "It means that in three days, you'll have to come to me to buy another dose of the medicine."
"And as for me, killing you is as easy as squashing a grasshopper. I'd advise you not to try to kill me again, because if I die, you won't live either!"
Luo Feizhou nearly hit the roof.
In three days, he'd have to buy another dose from her?
That meant in three days, he'd have to give her another hundred thousand taels of silver?
Add that to what he just owed, and it came to two hundred thousand taels?
He was so mad he nearly spat blood.
As for that hundred-thousand-tael IOU, he'd originally planned to just weasel out of paying Ji Yuntang back.
Sure enough, this woman seemed to read his mind, and once again used the Jade Beauty Cream to get a grip on him.
The turtle mark on Luo Feizhou's body had already faded halfway. At this point, he couldn't just give up halfway—if he had to walk around with that pattern, he'd never be able to show his face in public again!
Once he realized this, he didn't dare lay a hand on Ji Yuntang again. All he could do was throw out a threat.
"Ji Yuntang, you haven't seen the last of me!"
He picked up his sword from the ground and stomped off in a rage, while Ji Yuntang called out from behind.
"Prince Qi, don't forget to settle the bill for the roast meat—it's a hundred taels of silver."
Luo Feizhou nearly tripped over his own feet...
He hadn't even taken a single bite of the roast meat, and Ji Yuntang actually had the gall to make him pay for it?
This woman was absolutely shameless!
In the next private room, Hua Feixue had overheard the whole thing and narrowed her eyes.
A jar of ointment sold for a hundred thousand taels? A single antidote pill also sold for a hundred thousand taels? And she was the one who'd poisoned him in the first place?
In this world, there was actually someone even more shameless than the little bastard who'd cleaned out her treasury?
Then she definitely had to go meet this person.
To avoid being discovered, Hua Feixue decided to send Qiu Zhu off. She set down her chopsticks and elegantly wiped her mouth.
"Qiu Zhu, I'm craving the sticky rice cakes from the pastry shop south of the city. Go buy some for me."
Qiu Zhu didn't think twice and replied, "Yes, Miss Hua, I'll go right away."
With Qiu Zhu gone and the two servants still downstairs, Hua Feixue was finally free of the Marquis Yongning estate's spies. She stood up and made her way toward the room next door.
Just as she was about to knock, someone came barreling toward her and slammed right into her chest.
Ji Yuntang clutched her stinging nose, her brows furrowed as she muttered, "Ow, what was that? So hard!"
She looked up, locked eyes with Hua Feixue's stunningly beautiful face, and instantly shuddered in fear.
Blood Flower?! What's she doing here?!
Hua Feixue also spotted Ji Yuntang. Her gaze sharpened, and she reached out and grabbed Ji Yuntang by the throat.
"You little brat, I've finally caught you!"
With her throat gripped, Ji Yuntang felt a wave of suffocation wash over her. For the first time, she truly felt her life was in danger.
This damn woman really was the leader of the Blood Rain Sect—she didn't hold back at all!
Ji Yuntang threw her head back, gritting her teeth. "M-miss, I think you've got the wrong person. I don't know you!"
Hua Feixue's eyes darkened as she stared at her coldly. "Ha! You don't know me, but I sure as hell know you!"
"Don't think I won't recognize you just because you've dressed up as a woman. Hand over everything you stole from me, and I'll let you live. Otherwise, I'll choke the life out of you right here."
Just then, a commotion broke out downstairs, distracting Hua Feixue for a second.
Seizing the opportunity while she was distracted, Ji Yuntang whipped out two silver needles and thrust them toward Hua Feixue's eyes.
Hua Feixue reacted in a flash. She twisted her body in an elegant spin, dodging the needles as they whizzed past her face.
Then, with her hand like a blade, she struck out fast, lunging at Ji Yuntang.
Ji Yuntang leaned back, and the two of them stumbled back into the room.
Hua Feixue kicked the door shut and swung her fists at her, her punches moving so fast they left trails in the air.
In the time it takes to drink a cup of tea, they'd traded over a dozen blows.
Hua Feixue couldn't believe how fast Ji Yuntang reacted. She couldn't place Ji Yuntang's martial arts style, but it was as slippery as an eel.
She nearly caught Ji Yuntang several times, but each time she slipped through her fingers.
Ji Yuntang stood by the window, panting heavily, keeping about six feet away from Hua Feixue.
She looked at the damaged tables and chairs, wincing at the damage.
She spoke up. "Miss, can we please stop fighting? If we keep this up, this room is going to get trashed!"
Hua Feixue's eyes narrowed coldly, her tone leaving no room for negotiation.
"Give back what you stole from the Blood Rain Sect, and I'll let you go."
Ji Yuntang felt like crying. She had just gotten rid of Luo Feizhou, and now Blood Flower shows up.
The worst part was, she couldn't beat Blood Flower.
She had no idea how much of her conversation with Luo Feizhou Hua Feixue had overheard.
Ji Yuntang would never admit she'd seen her before, even if it killed her.
"You really have the wrong person. I've never met you, and I've never stolen anything from you."
"You can see for yourself—I'm a shopkeeper, and I'm also a princess. I've got plenty of money. Why would I need to steal from you?"
Hua Feixue clearly wasn't buying it. She let out a cold snort.
"If you don't know me, then how come you've been telling others that I'm bloodthirsty and cruel, totally twisted—that I not only tattooed a turtle on Prince Qi but also like to embroider flowers on beggars' butts?"
"Don't tell me you're trying to pin this on me?"
Ji Yuntang: "..."
Ji Yuntang: "!!!"
Her first thought was: It's over!
That demon lord actually heard me!
What the hell was she supposed to do now?
Ji Yuntang's brain went into overdrive, scrambling for a way out.
Fight? No way she'd win that.
Run? She couldn't get away either. And farting? Not a chance in hell right now. That left exactly one option: poison his ass!
With that decided, Ji Yuntang looked up and smiled at Hua Feixue, about to say something sweet to smooth things over.
But the guy didn't play by the rules at all. He flashed forward again and came at Ji Yuntang swinging.
Ji Yuntang was furious!
If you don't show a tiger your claws, he thinks you're a sick cat, huh?
She clenched her fist and threw a punch right back at Hua Feixue.
But the punch landed square on his chest.
And just like that, Hua Feixue's chest caved in!
Something tumbled off his chest and hit the ground.
Ji Yuntang's eyes nearly bugged out of her head. She hadn't even hit that hard—how the hell did she knock his chest off?
On closer look, wasn't that thing shaped like a peach?
Ji Yuntang stomped on it, and the peach exploded!
Peach juice went flying everywhere, and Hua Feixue's face turned black as a storm cloud—absolutely terrifying.
Ji Yuntang quickly scrambled back a few steps to put some distance between them.
"Ha! And here I was thinking you were a hot chick, but you're actually a dude!"
Caught red-handed, Hua Feixue dropped the act. A deadly, murderous glint flashed in his eyes.
"I was going to spare your life, but since you're so eager to die, I'll grant you that wish!"
He flicked his wrist, and a razor-thin crescent blade materialized in his palm.
