After dinner, the four of them soaked a while longer. Seeing that it was getting late, Eiya was about to take her sister home when she heard some really exciting news.

“What? You rented a room here?!” Eiya’s gaze at Yuki instantly changed—this guy had issues, trying to fast-forward things that much?

“No, it’s just for leaving stuff and washing up, we’re not staying overnight…” Yuki waved his hand, smiling bitterly as he explained.

“But since it’s so late, let’s just stay here!” The little Demon Lord casually said something so out of place that her dear sister wanted to punch her.

“If you’re staying, then I’m staying too…” Eiya sighed. Her silly sister was hopeless.

Normally, for a girl to stay overnight outside with boys without family permission was a huge problem. But in order to protect her clueless sister, Eiya had no choice but to go along.

“Fine… I’ll book another room…” Yuki scratched his head helplessly.

That part was a misunderstanding. Of the four, only her silly sister wanted to stay. Yuki had no plans to spend the night here. He only said he’d stay to watch over the two lolis.

Eiru and Eiya shared one room and the two boys another. After booking the second room at the front desk, the four returned to their rooms to bathe and rest.

The hot spring inn’s hotel rooms had their own features. Besides the usual furnishings, each bathroom had its own small pool.

“Why do you still keep your hair tied? Here you can let it down.” Eiru reached to undo it but Eiya dodged.

“Oh right…” With that reminder, Eiya suddenly stood and walked to the shower area.

This was hot spring water. If her dye washed out, it could affect both their skin. Thinking that, she turned on the water and let it flow over her hair.

Under Eiru’s shocked gaze, as if she had seen a ghost, the black gradually rinsed away and revealed the silver hair hidden underneath.

“Keep this secret from Mom and Dad… Now we’re even.” Rubbing her hair, Eiya looked back at her dumbfounded sister.

Her sister had told her about her transformation secret. Now she revealed her own. That way, neither of them could take advantage of each other.

“Y-You… your hair…” Seeing her silver hair, the Demon Lord’s first thought was—since my sister’s silver-haired, maybe I’m not really their child since I was black-haired? ² referring to her male form

“You must, must, must keep this from Mom and Dad. Otherwise, there will be serious trouble, got it?” Eiya said sternly. Now with two silver-haired girls in the pool, they looked like twins.

“O-okay…” Cowed by her sister’s gaze, Eiru nodded frantically. She wouldn’t spill a word.

“Silver hair, blue eyes… Xiaoya, you’re not, Amber Crystal…” The Demon Lord thought of one possibility. But at the words ‘Amber Crystal’, Eiya’s face changed instantly.

“Where did you hear that?” She never imagined her sister would know that word. “Even our family has kept it hidden from us!”

Eiya told her secret because she assumed her sister didn’t know the legend, so she wouldn’t connect her silver hair to it…

But clearly, things turned out differently than she expected…
