Demon King – Chapter 394 – The Two Sisters Sneaking Out Again
“Mm, let’s not talk about all that anymore. Want to go out and walk around? I can get some sun and replenish a bit of magic power while we’re at it…”
Shifting the topic, Her Majesty the Demon Lord did not want to think too much about emotional issues right now. Thinking about them was pointless anyway.
“But didn’t Yuki say we’re not allowed to go out… You want him to pin your head down again and freeze you in place?”
Eiya twitched the corner of her mouth. To be honest, the sight of her own sister being stuck rigid and unable to move had been pretty hilarious.
“My legs are attached to my own body, why should I listen to him? Besides, if I’d agreed, I would’ve stayed here obediently… but I didn’t agree just now, did I~”
Eiru pulled open a drawer and stuffed the half-finished wig inside.
It really had to be said that today, Her Majesty the Demon Lord looked like she’d be itchy all over if she didn’t do something naughty and get herself beaten up.
“Then do whatever you want. Where are we going?”
Thinking that staying cooped up in a boys’ dorm was boring anyway, Eiya slowly climbed down the ladder.
“To the area near the milk tea shop where I work part-time. I skipped work yesterday because of you, so I have to make up for it today.”
Eiru replied while putting on her shoes.
“After we walk around for a bit, I’ll take you back to my apartment first, then I’ll go to work.”
“I should be able to finish your wig before the weekend. The later steps are a bit troublesome… I’ll send you home on Saturday. It’s a bit of a hassle for you, but for now just make do with the wig.”

“It’s not a hassle at all. There’s no other way anyway, right?”
Eiya gave a bitter chuckle and reached out to pat her sister’s head twice.
Although Eiya had always lived in a greenhouse, protected and cared for by everyone, she wasn’t some delicate little princess. A mere wig was nothing, especially when it was something Eiru had painstakingly made with her own hands. Endure it and it would pass. There was nothing to complain about or act spoiled over.
“Oh right, remember to come pick me up after you finish work. I don’t want to sleep over at Sister Yunyue’s place today… When they sleep, it squeezes me so hard I can’t stand it.”
Recalling the terror of being dominated yesterday, Eiya was absolutely not going to stay over there tonight. Her own sister’s embrace was much gentler.
“I was planning to take you to sleep at my apartment today anyway… You’re a girl, staying in a boys’ dorm is really inappropriate.”
After stamping her feet a couple of times to make sure her shoes were on properly, the little Demon Lord turned her head and told Eiya her plan.
As for Yuki, she could just send him a message later. He’d be missing a body pillow tonight, but letting him hug Gulu to sleep was fine too, right?
(Yuki: No, I don’t think it is.)
Hand in hand, the two sisters walked to the door and were just about to open it when Eiru suddenly remembered that the two of them walking straight out so openly didn’t seem very appropriate.
So, out of respect for the dorm supervisor slacking off in the office downstairs, the little Demon Lord did exactly what she’d done the morning before when she brought her sister over. She picked Eiya up and flew straight out from the balcony.
“Woah!”

No matter what, Eiya was still a child. This novelty of flying through the air made her cry out in excitement.

The two sisters wandered around a nearby shopping mall hand in hand for quite a while. The little Demon Lord checked her phone and noticed that it was almost time for work.
“I’ll take you back to my apartment first. Remember, before I get back, you’re not allowed to go out… The Eastern District is really chaotic. Running around randomly can easily get you into trouble.”
Eiru seriously reminded her. Even though it wasn’t the first time she’d said this, it was still necessary to repeat it a few more times.
“Can’t just go with you…”
Eiya felt a bit aggrieved, but the moment she said it, she immediately realized it was inappropriate.
The milk tea shop where her sister worked was invested in by their parents. The manager and the female clerk inside both knew her. Going in would basically be delivering herself on a platter.
“Then you can sit in the shop too, but sitting there for several hours seems kind of weird…”
Her Majesty the Demon Lord scratched her head in distress. She also felt that leaving her sister alone in the apartment wasn’t very appropriate. What if she got bored out of her mind?
“How about this? Since the milk tea shop is inside the mall anyway… I’ll just hang around inside the mall and not go out. That way, when you get off work, you won’t have to worry about not finding me, right?”
Eiya slapped her palm, having come up with what she thought was a great idea. She could wander around outside and secretly watch her sister’s serious working figure. Why not?
“That works… Just remember what you said. You’re not allowed to leave the mall.”

She had insurance measures in place anyway, and there were security guards inside the mall. No matter what, nothing could happen to Eiya. Thinking this, Eiru agreed.
“I’ll send a message to Stupid Yuki and Stupid Qi to explain things. If they have time, they can come keep you company too. With more people, it won’t be boring…”
The Demon Lord took out her phone. Just in case, it was better to inform those two guys as an extra layer of insurance.
“Stupid Yuki said they’ll climb over the wall and come to accompany you before the second evening study period ends. Just keep an eye on yourself and don’t run too far, got it?”
Looking at Yuki’s almost instant reply, the little Demon Lord reminded Eiya a few more times before heading to the restroom to disguise herself and get ready to clock in.
“O~K~”
She made a playful gesture to show there was no problem. After her sister went into the restroom, Eiya went pattering off.
As the two sisters split up, not far away on a rest bench meant for shoppers, two young men frowned as they exchanged words.
“Her younger sister ran off. What do we do?”
“Ignore her. Kids like to run around, that’s normal. Our task is only one thing. Keep an eye on the older sister.”
The two of them just sat there, watching Eiya leave. When a black-haired youth with an extremely ordinary-looking face came out of the restroom, they immediately stood up and followed him, tailing him into a milk tea shop.
Running up to the third floor of the mall and weaving back and forth between shops, with no one watching her, Eiya no longer needed to keep pretending to be a good girl. She freely released her lively nature.

“Oho~ This fruit pastry looks pretty good~”
With her finger tapping against her lips, she stared at a shop window. As a little foodie, Eiya’s cravings were successfully hooked by this place.
With plenty of allowance money, Eiya didn’t spend recklessly, but she was never stingy when it came to things she was interested in. Sure enough, before long, the silver-haired girl was carrying an extra bag of snacks and a bottle of drink.
Like a tourist, she ate while wandering around. In between, she would occasionally run over to the entrance of the milk tea shop where Eiru worked and secretly observe her a few times. Before she knew it, several hours had passed just like that.
“Big sis is so slow. When is she getting off work?”
She glanced at her phone. Tired from walking around, Eiya found that there was still quite a while before her sister got off work, so she casually found a place to sit down and complain.
“Junior? What a coincidence, running into you here? Are you out by yourself today?” 1 What is this lame pick up line…… maybe I will try it for research purpose.
Just as Eiya was spacing out, a voice suddenly came from beside her. Turning her head in confusion, she found that the speaker was a boy who looked like a high school student, but she didn’t recognize him at all.
‘Did he get the wrong person?’
Thinking that, Eiya looked around, only to find that there was no one else nearby. Without a doubt, he was talking to her.
Looking at the boy in front of her with a lecherous smile plastered on his face, nodding and bowing in a completely obsequious manner, Eiya felt a wave of discomfort rise in her heart, while her forehead was practically filled with question marks…
