Demon King – Chapter 42 – Rua, I Can’t Think of a Title
After flying around outside for quite a while, she finally heard the dorm door being closed and locked. The little Demon Lord sighed in relief—she could finally come back inside.
After placing the kitten back on the balcony of the lower dorm, the Demon Lord returned to her room with her belongings. Putting the power strip back in Yuki’s cabinet and setting down her things, a certain loli rushed straight to her own closet…
This wasn’t about being too lazy to change clothes anymore—who knew what might happen next? Rummaging through her wardrobe, Eiru accidentally found her middle school uniform and casually put it on.
Most likely due to trauma from what happened earlier, the little Demon Lord didn’t wear knee-high socks as usual, but instead put on white tights.
After adding a pair of round-toed shoes, our little Demon Lord looked at herself in the mirror. Even though it was a middle school uniform, wearing it made her look more like an elementary school student…
But now wasn’t the time to worry about that. Not daring to stay any longer, and considering it was Friday, the little Demon Lord took out a bag. She stuffed two sets of dresses and underwear inside, grabbed her game console, and decided to head straight back to her rental apartment.
‘I’m going back to my rental place first. Call me or come find me if you need anything… I’m out!’ Taking out her phone, the Demon Lord sent Yuki a message.
After all, once she went back this time, she probably wouldn’t return until Sunday. After two days of adjustment, Eiru had gotten a feel for her future dorm life. This trip back would also let her bring some necessities that she hadn’t previously considered.

Like plushies, plushies, and more plushies. Gulu unfortunately wasn’t there every night—at least not last night. What she needed most right now were plushies that could guarantee she slept well.
‘Alright, I’ll drop by your place after school this afternoon.’ Yuki’s reply was as fast as always. After gathering everything, the little Demon Lord flew out from the balcony…
“What’s up? Did housewife Lu wake up?” Just finishing morning study, Jixian saw Yuki putting down his phone and asked.
“Yeah, he said he’s going home first.”
“Makes sense. If it were me, I wouldn’t consider bringing my girlfriend to the dorm either. Going back to his place makes things easier, right?” Jixian wore a lecherous grin.
Yuki wasn’t some naive kid who didn’t understand the world—he naturally got what Jixian meant. Rolling his eyes at him, he continued reading his novel.
“There’s no one else here, so Yuki, honestly—you’re actually interested in that loli underclassman, aren’t you?” Lying on his desk and leaning toward Yuki, Jixian asked quietly.
“A bit, I guess. She really is ridiculously cute. To say I’m not attracted would definitely be a lie…”

Besides her outstanding looks, after several encounters, Yuki really felt that everything about her, including her personality, was very much to his taste.
“But she’s Eiru’s girlfriend. You don’t mess with a friend’s wife, so I wouldn’t really do anything with her.” After all, he and Eiru were best friends—this wasn’t some martial arts tournament where you fought for a bride. They couldn’t just fight, could they? And he probably couldn’t beat Eiru anyway…
“But Yuki, is housewife Lu really that good at fighting? In the dorm I saw him struggling just to lift some water…” Remembering how someone looked when helping change the water cooler jug, Jixian expressed doubt.
“Eiru used to have around the same physical strength as me. Two years ago he seemed to get seriously ill, and he became a lot weaker. He gets exhausted just moving half a jug of water.” Resting his chin and reminiscing, Yuki really felt there were quite a few strange things about Eiru, though he wouldn’t pry into others’ private matters.
“So the solo fight against over ten thugs was before he got sick, when he was still pretty strong? The current housewife Lu isn’t so tough anymore?”
“No, it happened after… That incident was last semester.”
“Are you serious? Didn’t you say that he got weaker? Can’t even move half a jug of water?”
Local delinquents around school fought regularly—their physical condition and fighting experience were real. Jixian couldn’t imagine how someone with such little strength could single-handedly take down over ten armed thugs.

“That’s what’s weird about Eiru. His explosive power is ridiculously strong. I’ve personally seen him punch through a wall with one hit… it makes me think his usual weakness is an act.” Recalling Eiru’s absurd explosive power, that solid brick wall had crumbled like dust under his fist.
“It must be an act, right? It’s just too ridiculous… How could someone with such little strength do those things?”
“But think about it yourself—when he was moving water, sweating profusely with his veins bulging—did that look fake?”
“Hmm… it really didn’t.” Jixian recalled the details and shook his head.
If that was acting, Jixian felt the entertainment industry would need talent like that. If even physiological reactions like bulging veins could be faked, that could only be described as godlike.
“So if Eiru was acting like that, if he’s not at the next Oscars, I’m not watching.” Half-joking, Yuki lowered his head to continue reading his novel.
“What are you guys talking about?” Seeing the two chatting so enthusiastically, Ziyu also slipped over from the front of the classroom, wanting to join the fun.
“Nothing much, just discussing housewife Lu and his loli girlfriend with Yuki.” Jixian answered casually.

“Dude, I almost heard that as you guys discussing Yuki’s loli girlfriend, housewife Lu.”
“Man, your thoughts are dangerous… Also, you should get your ears checked. How could you mishear something so different?” Jixian laughed and cursed, giving Ziyu’s head a light tap.
“Speaking of which, it’s Eiru’s birthday today. I’m planning to visit him after school this afternoon and maybe celebrate depending on the situation. Are you guys coming?” As break time was almost over, Yuki closed his novel and asked the two…
“Going, definitely going.” The two said in unison. “Maybe we’ll get to see that legendary fairy loli underclassman.”
“And let housewife Lu feel the wrath of the single dogs. He wants a romantic evening? It’s not gonna be so easy…”
Holding his forehead and looking at their sinister grins, Yuki felt that Eiru’s birthday might not be very peaceful…
