Demon King – Chapter 46 – Demon Lord! Happy Birthday! (Part Two)
“The loli you mentioned—is that her?” Nudging Yuki with his elbow, Jixian asked quietly.
“Holy crap, she’s way too cute, right? What kind of karma did she accumulate in her past life?” This ridiculous level of attractiveness left not just Ziyu but even the girls somewhat stunned.
“It’s her.” Saying this, Yuki greeted the girl in front of him. “Long time no see…”
Her eyes gradually lost their light as the little Demon Lord seemed to freeze like someone had hit pause. She remained motionless in that position, showing no reaction to her surroundings, including Yuki’s voice.
“What’s wrong with you?” Noticing something was off, Yuki reached out to poke her shoulder.
“Ah! No, no, no! It’s not what you think!” The Demon Lord jumped up in fright. Completely flustered, she waved her hands frantically. Her strange reaction left everyone around completely puzzled.
“Aren’t you here to celebrate Eiru’s birthday?”
“Eh?” Hearing this, Eiru immediately quieted down. “What did you just say?”
“He said, aren’t you here to celebrate Eiru’s birthday?” Ziyu repeated. Since this was someone else’s girlfriend, he wouldn’t call him “Housewife Lu” in front of her.
“We are too. Wanna do it together?” Qianchen crouched down halfway, with her hands on her knees to bring her face to the same height as the other girl.

“Ah? I’m not, I didn’t. I’m just delivering a cake and leaving right away.”
Seeing the girl’s nervous expression, everyone finally noticed that this little loli was carrying a small cake box in her hands.
“Let me open the door for you first. We can talk about everything inside.” Afraid of attracting her neighbour’s attention, the little Demon Lord quickly turned the key, pushed open the door, and led everyone inside.
“What’s your relationship with Eiru? You should be from the Experimental East Campus, right? That makes you my junior, doesn’t it?” After everyone entered, Qianmeng became curious about this cute little loli.
Experimental East Campus was short for Experimental Middle School East Campus Branch—the school where Eiru, Yuki, and Qianmeng had attended middle school.
The girl was wearing the Experimental East Campus’s uniform. Though she looked like an elementary student, this child should be her junior, right?
“Eh? I… um…” Just like when her true form had encountered Yuki before, she’d been asked this question plenty of times. As Yuki expected, the Demon Lord began stammering again.
Say they were friends? No good—simple friends wouldn’t have house keys. Sister? Even worse—Yuki knew her family members. Moreover, appearance-wise, her true form couldn’t be connected to her male appearance at all.
“I actually guessed it—you’re dating him, right?” Yuki smiled as he dropped this bombshell that shocked all the girls present.

“No way? She’s cute but way too young…”
“Being into lolis could get you in serious trouble…”
The three accompanying girls began whispering among themselves. Though wearing a middle school uniform, the Demon Lord looked at most like a third or fourth-grader. How depraved would you have to be to target such a young child…
At this point, Eiru also snapped back to reality. Though she didn’t know why Yuki would think this, at least she had an excuse now. Regardless of everything else, she should just go along with it for now…
“Yes, I’m his… girlfriend…” The first part sounded like she was throwing in the towel, but by the last three words, the Demon Lord’s voice became barely audible while her face flushed red.
The girl’s reaction further convinced everyone of this explanation’s validity. So she was here to celebrate her boyfriend’s birthday—this Eiru really was blessed.
The little Demon Lord naturally had no idea what everyone was thinking. Standing there with her face turned away, not daring to look directly at anyone, she clasped her hands nervously together.
“Want to celebrate his birthday together? The more the merrier!.” Qianchen’s suggestion gained agreement from the others, who all chimed in.
“No, no need! I have other things to do! I’m just delivering a cake! He’s not home right now, so you guys can wait here for him. I’m leaving first!” Ignoring everyone’s attempts to make her stay, Eiru fled the house like she was escaping for her life…
Seeing no one was chasing her, the little Demon Lord hiding in the stairwell patted her flat chest, looking like she’d narrowly escaped disaster.

Just kidding—if she stayed there, they could’ve waited a year and the birthday boy still wouldn’t have showed up! Even though he was technically already there…
But who were those three girls? Though they looked familiar, she really couldn’t remember who they were. It seemed like one of them was from her class? This Yuki guy, bringing so many people without saying anything—she hasn’t prepared anything for them!
Holding her head in distress, the Demon Lord felt that she should stay there a bit longer. Otherwise, if her true form left and then her male form appeared immediately after, even though it could’ve just been a coincidence, she at least needed to create the illusion that the two versions of herself hadn’t met.
“Yuki, I’m smitten. Gotta find a way to steal your boy’s girl away…” Meanwhile, Jixian started saying something ridiculous.
“Get lost and act normal. Don’t mess with other people’s relationships.” Giving him a light punch, Yuki laughed and cursed.
“That little loli is really so cute… super adorable. I want to take her home and keep her.” Yue Yue’s comment gained unanimous agreement from the other two girls.
“Speaking of which, sis, you said earlier she was your junior?” Poking her sister, Qianchen asked the question she’d been holding back.
“She should be—she’s wearing our middle school uniform. But I’ve never seen her, so I’m not really sure. What do you think, Yuki?” Tapping her lips thoughtfully, Qianmeng expressed uncertainty. After all, with such distinctive features, she couldn’t possibly have not heard of her, right?
Yuki smiled without saying much. After all, this girl really was quite mysterious. Eiru wouldn’t talk about her, and she wouldn’t say anything either, so it wouldn’t be polite for him to pry.

“But why is she wearing their formal uniform? Today isn’t Monday, is it?” Generally speaking, school formal dress was only worn on Monday flag ceremonies or important events. Today was Friday, not a holiday, and middle school students should have been on break already. Why was this girl wearing their formal dress?
“Look at this small cake—it’s probably what she gave Eiru.” Yuki directed everyone’s attention to the cake box the little Demon Lord had left on the table, voicing his speculation.
“She probably wanted to come celebrate Eiru’s birthday with him… but…”
Yuki felt the girl, like Eiru, probably wasn’t well-off, which could be seen from this type of small cake usually used as afternoon tea dessert.
From her attitude, the girl obviously cared about Eiru. Who would normally give such a small cake as a birthday cake? It showed the girl didn’t have much money, so she could only buy that kind of cake…
Then, she probably wanted to accompany Eiru and dress up nicely, but because she didn’t have a lot of good clothes, she chose the relatively attractive school formal dress.
“Originally thinking it would be just the two of them, she probably felt self-conscious and embarrassed seeing so many people show up, so she instinctively ran away, right?”
Everyone nodded in agreement. Yuki’s serious analysis gained unanimous approval from the group…
