Demon King – Chapter 61 – Confession

“No way! You just said I shouldn’t let guys hug me casually! You lied!” The little demon lord suddenly remembered what Yuki had said earlier, and with a sudden flip, used the force to push him off.

“Pfft, so now you remember, but that’s something you should pay attention to more…” Yuki couldn’t help but laugh.

“I’m the Demon Lord! If someone tries anything funny, I’ll beat them half to death and then eat them alive!” Her Majesty the Demon Lord bared her teeth and claws, trying to look intimidating.

However, in Yuki’s eyes, she was nothing more than a little kitten pretending to be a tiger, showing her teeth and claws.

“Alright, alright, my little demon lord, could you tell me your name?”

“I won’t! I already told you I’m a student at Seventh High School… can’t you look it up yourself?” Seeing that she couldn’t intimidate him, Eiru stopped her embarrassing behavior. She turned her face to the side, crossed her arms over her chest, looking displeased.

“Fine, fine, I’ll look it up myself… then I’ll go?” Helplessly scratching his head, since he still had class later, Yuki got up intending to leave.

“Wait!” Seeing him about to leave, Her Majesty the Demon Lord hurriedly stepped forward and pressed down on his leg, preventing him from getting up.

“Keep it a secret for me, please…” Her tone instantly softened, completely losing her previous attitude. The girl now looked exactly like a little kitten, afraid of abandonment.

“It’s fine, I have PE this period… I can stay for as long as you want.” How could Yuki possibly have the heart to refuse the girl’s request, who was on the verge of tears?

He gently embraced her with his hands, preventing her from falling. With a gentle smile on his face, Yuki’s other hand softly stroked her head, quietly listening to the girl’s confession.

“I’m so scared… I was originally a human too. I don’t know how I became like this.”

“Living in constant fear, afraid of being discovered… A monster like me, if noticed, would definitely be captured for dissection and research…”

“I won’t! I’m not wearing makeup, so how could it smudge…” Hearing his words, Her Majesty the Demon Lord pouted.

“Isn’t that great? Even without makeup, you’re already prettier than any other girl I’ve seen…” Yuki couldn’t help but reach out and pinch her little cheeks.

“Well… thank you for today. You’re truly a good brother~ As a reward, I’ll allow you to hug me to your heart’s content today!” Opening her arms toward Yuki, Her Majesty the Demon Lord asked for a hug.
