Demon King – Chapter 661 – Not Exactly a New Transfer Student
Demon King – Chapter 661 – Not Exactly a New Transfer Student
“New… classmate?”
Hearing what their homeroom teacher announced, the classroom instantly erupted into an uproar. It was already almost the end of the semester, and someone was still transferring in at a time like this?
The students all turned their heads toward the classroom door. A few sitting by the corridor-side windows even boldly stood up and craned their necks to look out into the hallway, curiosity fully piqued as they tried to catch a glimpse of just who this mysterious new classmate was.
But there was no one at the door. And since it was class time, the hallway outside was completely empty. The students were left puzzled. Where was this new classmate? Where did they go?
“Quiet down, quiet down… when I say new classmate, strictly speaking she isn’t really new.”
The homeroom teacher clapped his hands to signal for silence, then continued explaining.
“She has actually always been a student in our class. It’s just that due to health reasons and some family circumstances, she hasn’t really been able to come to class, and never had the chance to properly get to know everyone.”
Hearing this, the people from Dorm 1503 all sensed something was off. Why did what the teacher was describing sound so damn familiar?
Not just them. Including Su Qianmeng and Su Qianchen, as well as some quick-witted classmates, several people realized something at the same time. Their gazes all shifted toward Yuki’s side.
The only empty seat in the classroom.

“So today, I’m bringing this up during class meeting because I hope she can officially get to know everyone, and integrate into our big class family…”
As the homeroom teacher explained from the podium, the students below were already overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information and couldn’t help whispering among themselves.
“No way, Eiru? That delinquent who cheated his way in?”
“I heard he’s super vicious. Skips class all the time, and when he fights he’s brutal… didn’t people say he even fought with outside gangs and stuff?”
“So why does someone like that get to mix into our class…”
Eiru’s reputation was well known. To be honest, most people in the class were a bit afraid of this big shot. Well-behaved students were the most afraid of people who liked fighting and causing trouble. No one wanted to get tangled up with that kind of person.
“Quiet, quiet. I know you all have a lot of questions, but hold them for now… alright, come on and introduce yourself to everyone.”
The homeroom teacher scolded them a couple of times, then half-turned around and gently pushed forward the new classmate who was mysterious beyond belief in everyone’s eyes.
“Eh… ah? I… I still have to introduce myself?”
A silver-haired girl timidly poked her head out, pointing at herself with one finger, her face full of disbelief.

Everyone knew this. Whether it was class reshuffling or moving up a grade, the most awkward thing about joining a new class was standing in front of everyone to do a self-introduction.
You can dodge the first day but not the fifteenth. She had dodged the introductions at the start of the school year and when the class was first divided, but in the end she still got caught. And the most awkward part was that normally everyone would introduce themselves one by one to spread out the embarrassment. Now there was only a single girl standing on the stage.
When such a silver-haired girl suddenly appeared on the podium, the students below were completely dumbfounded. Wasn’t this supposed to be a troublemaking, fight-loving delinquent? What was this girl whose height didn’t even reach middle school level?
And where did she even come from? Why did she suddenly pop out from behind the teacher? There were so many people in the class, and not a single one of them noticed her?
Even Yuki hadn’t noticed when this girl entered the classroom. Though all of them knew that when this kid started using magic, nothing that happened was surprising… still, this move of lowering her own presence was genuinely beyond their expectations.
“Um… me? My name is Eiru…”
With both hands covered by gloves, the Demon Lord awkwardly scratched her cheek with a finger as she introduced herself.
“Actually, you’ve probably all heard of me already? I know about the rumors going around school, and I have a pretty good idea of what kind of reputation I have… so it kind of feels like I don’t need to introduce myself too much?”
The classroom fell completely silent. After crashing for a moment, being reminded by Eiru on stage made everyone recall the various legends about her that were widely circulated among students.
They examined the girl on the podium. A white knitted coat draped over her shoulders, with a black-and-white striped wool sweater underneath. Below that was a black skirt that didn’t even reach her knees. Though the skirt was short, her slender legs were covered by black tights, keeping her warm.

The black ankle boots on her feet and the black scarf around her neck added a touch of playful cuteness. No matter how they looked at it, the students below just couldn’t connect the rumors with the wintery, adorable girl standing on stage.
“Alright. I know everyone has a lot of questions, but now that you’ve all met her… Eiru may have some not-so-great rumors, but I hope you can see clearly for yourselves and not let those rumors lead you around by the nose.”
Yeah, yeah, we believe you. They’re all rumors. Oh wait, there was that rumor about Eiru being a silver-haired girl. So the most outrageous one was actually the real deal?
That was the unanimous thought of the students below. Their eyes followed the timid silver-haired girl the whole time as she walked off the podium. Watching her slip into the seat beside Yuki, they still felt like the world didn’t quite feel real today.
“Lu Brat, why didn’t you tell me you were coming to school?”
Once the class meeting officially began, Yuki whispered to his little girlfriend beside him.
“I got dragged over all of a sudden too… and now you know, don’t you? You were in class anyway, so it didn’t really affect anything.”
The Su twins sitting in front of them were already completely stunned. Especially Su Qianchen. Listening to their conversation, while further confirming Eiru’s identity, her jaw was practically about to drop onto the desk.
Unlike the others who had no memory of what Eiru looked like, the Su sisters had, after all, celebrated Eiru’s birthday before. Even if they didn’t know why they couldn’t remember her appearance, that was only limited to her face…
At the very least, they were absolutely sure that back then, Eiru was definitely a boy. Forget gender, even the height didn’t match. And not to mention, they had met this girl before too. Didn’t they previously mistake her for Eiru’s girlfriend?

“So… what the hell is going on? Why did Eiru turn into a girl? And isn’t she living in your dorm?!”
“Huh?”
Faced with the sudden question from the two sisters in front, Her Majesty the Demon Lord hadn’t even had time to respond before Yuki jumped in to smooth things over.
“Lu Brat has always been a girl. It’s just that there were some mistakes in her records, and she’s always used a male identity to get along with everyone.”
“So you two… are really dating?”
Su Qianchen’s eyes widened. A girl who hid her true form and lived as a bro with her best friend the whole time… why did this pairing suddenly feel so damn good to ship?
But then again, there seemed to be someone else who liked Eiru too…
‘Ah crap, my Yueyue! You lost so badly! So unfair!’
