“So you’re going to see your new house today?”

During the break, a certain couple walked their usual route toward the school store to buy things, chatting as they went. Their closeness, paired with their striking silver hair, drew plenty of glances from other students.

“Mm-hmm. We should be able to move in within a few days. I’ll take you over to hang out then. I’m telling you, this time I’ll have a big room. No more worrying about that tiny one!”

“That’s nice. Sounds pretty good.”

Yuki smiled as they chatted, and before long, the two of them had arrived at the entrance of the school store.

As usual, the little Demon Lord ran straight to the snack shelves to pick things out, while Yuki headed to the other shelves to grab daily necessities. Quite a few things in the dorm were running low, so he needed to restock.

No, the first part might be arguable, but what’s there to be proud of about being malnourished… Yuki was a bit speechless. Still, he only mentioned it in passing. He knew this girl was just bored and liked to keep her mouth busy.

“When you come over to my place, I’ll prepare a ton of snacks for you. Anyway, I know everything you like to eat, and they don’t really control me on that stuff anymore.”

Hugging a huge pile of snacks and grinning as she spoke, Her Majesty the Demon Lord stood up and got ready to go pay. During the long break, quite a lot of people came to the school store, and students passed by them from time to time.

Another person carrying several bags walked over from not far away, clearly heading toward the checkout. Out of courtesy, the two of them made some space to let him pass. But as he passed by Eiru, something unexpected happened.

“Demon Lord, right?”

“Huh?”

Hearing that suddenly, the little Demon Lord froze for a moment, then quickly turned her head, searching for the source of the voice.

But the other person had already blended into the line in front of the checkout counter. Since she had not paid attention to his appearance earlier, she could not tell who exactly had just spoken.

The store was fairly noisy, and Yuki had not heard the voice from before. Seeing his little girlfriend’s confused reaction, he had no idea what had happened.

“No, nothing…”

“Let’s pay first. We can talk about other stuff after we get back.”

Shaking her head and tossing those thoughts aside, the little Demon Lord reached out and hooked her arm around Yuki’s, dragging him toward the checkout counter.

Another very ordinary day. Although a few slightly concerning things had happened, all in all, it was still just a normal day.

After school, Yuki walked her to the school gate. After the two of them clung to each other for a bit and said goodbye, the little Demon Lord walked out of the gate slowly, thinking about what had happened today.

It should have just been an ordinary sentence, right? And that person who stared at me outside the classroom during self-study today… Lowering her head and thinking for a long time without coming to any conclusion, Her Majesty the Demon Lord could only give up on it.

She looked up and saw her father’s familiar car. It seemed he had been waiting for her for quite a while. As Eiru jogged over, the back door of the car opened, and a silver-haired loli in the back seat excitedly patted the seat and called out to her.

Amid this everyday banter between the two sisters, the car headed toward their new home. The location had been chosen to be roughly between the two sisters’ schools, so it did not take long to arrive.

Ei Yuan still had things to deal with. After handing the two daughters over to Lin Miao to look after, he hurried off again in the car.

What the two girls cared about most, of course, were their own rooms. Especially Eiru. Before, she had either been renting or staying in guest rooms. Suddenly having a room that truly belonged to her filled her with excitement she could not hide.

The rooms themselves were fairly ordinary. Both girls’ rooms were on the first floor. A large wardrobe, a bed, a desk, and a big storage cabinet. Not small, but at first glance, nothing particularly special.

But who was Lin Miao? How could he not know the little preferences and thoughts of his cousin? He took out a small black remote that looked like a keychain ornament, placed it in Eiru’s hand, and had her press it lightly.

The wardrobe suddenly slid sideways, revealing the secret hidden behind it.

“Bro, you actually made a secret room!”

The two girls shouted excitedly and immediately dove through the hidden door behind the wardrobe. Going down the stairs inside by about half a floor, they finally saw the “surprise” Lin Miao had left for them.

What appeared before them was a small living room. Sofa, television, projector, everything was there. On the other side of the room were two fully equipped computers, along with all kinds of game consoles and a wall of equipment. A full-on shut-in gamer’s paradise.

A snack cabinet, a small fridge, and even two small partitioned rooms with beds prepared. It had to be said, Lin Miao truly understood kids this age. All the cool stuff in Eiru and Eiya’s eyes, he had brought it all together.

“So? Satisfied?”

Looking at the two girls standing there dumbfounded, Lin Miao was extremely pleased with their reactions.
