Chapter 155: Where Did It Go?

"One day, I was at the Beast Taming Palace when I heard an Exotic Beast howl, so I went out to check."

"When I got there, I saw a black tentacle emerge from the ground and wrap itself around the Beast Taming Palace's Late-Star Stage Exotic Beast, the Three-tailed Snow Deer!"

"Then, the tentacle pierced into the Three-tailed Snow Deer's body. The strange thing was, the Three-tailed Snow Deer didn't resist—or rather, it was completely unable to."

"It felt like the tentacle was absorbing something from the Three-tailed Snow Deer. I attacked the tentacle, but it ignored me at first. Then, it pulled itself out of the Three-tailed Snow Deer."

"It whipped toward me once, sending me flying. After that, the tentacle retreated back into the ground and hasn't appeared since."

"Ever since then, I've felt that something's wrong with the Three-tailed Snow Deer. It's been incredibly listless!"

"I'm sure the Three-tailed Snow Deer's current condition is related to that black tentacle!"
