Chapter 24: Brutality

In mid-air!

A stampede of curses galloped through Bai Zhixi's mind!

Never in her wildest dreams had she imagined that Ye Yunyi would just kick her straight down!

'That bastard!'

But!

There was no turning back now!

She drew her sword without hesitation!

SHING!

The clear ring of the blade echoed instantly!

Then, Bai Zhixi landed from the air!

Her feet touched down on the leaf-strewn ground!

ROAR!

In the distance, the Crimson Flame Tiger, which had been in the middle of a meal, instantly noticed the human who had disturbed its dinner!

Rage!

It flooded the beast's heart!

It let out a furious roar!

Its fifty-foot-long tiger body shot forward, heading straight for Bai Zhixi!

At the same time!

Ye Yunyi, still in the tree, also made his move!

In a flash, he darted directly toward the Mutated Fire Dragon Fruit!

After all, that was the mission!

His agreement with Bai Zhixi was to obtain the Mutated Fire Dragon Fruit.
