Chapter 40: Killing Spree

Evening.

Before the Nebula Barrier.

Bai Zhixi paced back and forth.

Gazing into the distance.

By her count, Ye Yunyi had been gone for over a day now.

'Why isn't he back yet?'

Worry was etched on her face.

"Let's... head back."

Seeing that the sky was about to go dark, Bai Zhixi spoke to Zhou Huaiwei and the others who were also waiting for Ye Yunyi's return.

They never dared to cross the jungle at night.
