TSW-R1C Block 3 Lanius — Explosive Combustion Drive Variant

 

Blade Swifts and the Lanius D-types now dominated the skies. On the surface, the  Eirene was tearing through at reckless speed.

The SAS unit centered around Unit 5 still needed a little more time to complete their launch prep.

「So this is the debut of the Lanius C Block 3.」

This model formally adopted the explosive combustion drive system first tested against Alexandros I, making it the new Block 3 variant of the Lanius C. Like the standard C-type, removing its extra armor converted it into a high-mobility melee unit.

Pilots of this model included Kou, Hyoue, and other aces who specialized in close-quarters combat. Only a small number of Block 3 units had been produced so far.

「That makes four types of Lanius C, huh?」

「Unit 5’s Block 3 uses twin reactors combined with the explosive combustion system. Just among the Block 3s, we’ve got eight pilots.」
