「We’ve cleared the Murders outside the Fortress Area. The main force will now advance into ZS001 Fortress Area.」

「Acknowledged. A bit of an anticlimax, though.」

Captain Robin of the Enterprise received the report. As expected, the remote Fortress Area had mostly unmanned Murder units.

Even the Keres—many of them high-performance ones equipped with a reactor, such as Mantis and Rhinoceros—were no match for the Aubade Force, Outis’ personal army.

「So that is the polar Fortress Area. A colossal structure. Confirm once more: it’s designated as a no-attack zone.」

George of the Gracious Queen gazed up at the Fortress Area. Unlike others, this one had no physical shelter.

The polar management facilities at north and south were classified as attack-prohibited structures. Not that ordinary weaponry could so much as scratch them.

「The enemy defense is mostly Bison units piloted by helots. Being sent to the South Pole is practically an exile. As expected.」

For Captain Kiefel of the
