On Planet Libya, the Stones’ invasion and the appearance of the malignant Mythology Weapons known as the Teras had caused the deaths of vast numbers of humans, to the point that mankind seemed on the verge of extinction. But the truth was different.

Across the continents, benevolent Mythology Weapons—the Kryptos—had been protecting the people.

Even in this island nation at the edge of the northeastern continent, many people were being sheltered in caves too humble even to qualify as Defense Domes.

Because of the danger posed by the Teras—and because the Earth legends they were modeled on varied so greatly—human settlements had taken on the character of hidden villages.

There was also the simple fact that most Defense Domes and Fortress Areas had been destroyed, and were now more dangerous than anything.
