Chapter 2420: Chapter 377: Pet Beasts of Tianyuan Star (Double-Length)

Qiao Sang suddenly remembered the scene when he traveled back and saw Jiu Bugu holding flowers and being warned by Yu Cherry’s Beast Tamer, and couldn’t help but sigh:

"Jiu Bugu really hasn’t changed much."

"Momo." Dragon King called out, indicating it had changed a lot, as it used to bother good-looking pet beasts every now and then.

"Jiu Jiu!"

Upon hearing this, Jiu Bugu couldn’t help but reveal itself and once again corrected with dissatisfaction.

It’s pursuing! Pursuing!

"Momo."

Dragon King waved its claw with an expression of "whatever you say it is," and called out, indicating fine, let’s just say it’s pursuing.

Jiu Bugu saw that Dragon King was just brushing it off, snorted coldly again, and disappeared into invisibility.

Mikaela said, "Tianyuan Star has a lot of excellent pet beasts, the pet beast you contract next might be found there."

Qiao Sang immediately became interested: "Are there many Grass-type Pet Beasts with a Venerable Level cap?"

Mikaela smiled and said, "There aren’t many Grass-type Pet Beasts with a Venerable Level cap anywhere, but on Tianyuan Star, even Beast Tamers with poor talent and background might be able to contract powerful pet beasts and species."

"Your talent and strength might not hold any competitiveness in the eyes of some pet beasts, sometimes contracting a pet beast requires strong measures."

Qiao Sang was shocked, thinking that the situation was completely different from Flame Sky Star.

It’s not about being narcissistic, but given her current fame and exhibited talent and strength, if she declared on Flame Sky Star that she wanted to contract a new pet beast, there would definitely be tens of thousands of pet beasts expressing their desire to contract.

"Momo."

Dragon King, while picking its nose, called out, indicating that some pet beasts on Tianyuan Star are quite perplexing, many of them don’t like to contract with Professional Beast Tamers but enjoy watching combat matches.

With this said, Qiao Sang understood.

It’s like a lot of people in the previous world didn’t like playing football or couldn’t play football, but that didn’t stop them from loving to watch football.

"Exactly." Mikaela said, "I mentioned before, on Tianyuan Star, Beast Tamers are very interested in other cultures and industries, so the number of Professional Beast Tamers is much less than on the other three stars, the same goes for pet beasts, so when some pet beasts know the human wanting to contract them is a Professional Beast Tamer, they refuse."

As she said this, she sighed: "When I was on Tianyuan Star, I had my eye on a pet beast, but it refused me, the reason being it wanted to be a gourmet."

When Qiao Sang heard this, her first reaction was: an S-rank Beastmaster would actually be rejected by a pet beast?

Then came the second reaction: oh, Teacher Mikaela probably wasn’t an S-rank Beastmaster at that time.

Qiao Sang gathered her thoughts and asked a serious question: "Are there pet beasts on Tianyuan Star with the goal of becoming a gourmet?"

"Its species is Little Swallowing Hog." Mikaela explained, "This species has a big appetite and loves to eat all sorts of delicious things, many pet beasts of this species aim to become gourmets."

"Contracting with a Beast Tamer wouldn’t stop it from eating gourmet food." Qiao Sang said.

"It would still be a hindrance." Mikaela said, "A Professional Beast Tamer’s pet beast needs to control its food intake, and what they eat are energy meals. Little Swallowing Hogs like to eat anything tasty and can’t stop once they start. If they become a gourmet, after becoming famous, some businesses or regions might invite it to taste their products for free and pay it, the Little Swallowing Hog I wanted to contract likely aimed for this."

"Momo." Dragon King waved its hand, calling out, indicating it’s really hard to understand, it’s just eating, once you participate in the Interstellar Cup and become famous, there’s nothing you can’t eat.

Qiao Sang could understand, and couldn’t help but sigh: "It seems like to contract a pet beast from Tianyuan Star, you really need to find one with shared goals."

"You’re right, that’s the easiest condition for a Beast Tamer to complete a contract with a pet beast." Mikaela said, "Some Beast Tamers don’t have any talent, but as long as they find a pet beast with the same goals, it’s easy to contract."

"There are even instances where high-level pet beasts are willing to contract with low-level Beast Tamers because of aligned goals."

"Of course, this is the situation in most countries, but some countries are not like this..."

Mikaela continued to tell about the situation on Tianyuan Star.

Qiao Sang listened with great interest.

Time slowly passed, and before they knew it, the TV host exclaimed passionately, "Let’s congratulate contestant Feng Fu for winning this match! Successfully advancing as one of the top ten contestants!"
