1: Opening With Transmigration and Having The Old Home Raided (1)
Shi Cunjin was slapped awake by someone; before he could even figure out his situation, another fist landed on his back, slamming him down to prostrate on the ground, nose-blood spattering ten centimeters.
Shi Cunjin: ?
This vicious, merciless pound woke Shi Cunjin up completely, and nearly knocked him out from pain again. He gasped roughly, his face smashed against the mildewed, cracked wooden floorboards, and with every gasp he could taste the bloody stench inside his own mouth.
By his ear came a few mocking laughs, scattered footsteps closing in, the sound of stifled sobbing. Someone planted a foot on Shi Cunjin’s back, heavy as a steel hammer, and the blow nearly drove the breath out of him.
Amid the sneering and jeering, the speech was strange in its syllables, like Cantonese mixed with Hokkien, yet also like English. Very strange indeed.
Stranger still, Shi Cunjin understood every single sentence.
“Not even a single copper to your name yet you dare run up credit? Where’s your brother’s bereavement pension? Huh? Speak!”
“I heard he died in the Hakunata Campaign. Even the lowest-ranking soldier gets 100 gold lu. Damn, that’s gold lu!” another voice said greedily.
“A waste-of-a-sub-female collecting this much money? The rampage tribes of West Street love prey like this the most. For the sake of your elder brother still being a war hero…”
Crude sneering chimed in right on cue. The brawny man stepping on Shi Cunjin’s back said, “Hand it over as protection fees to our Red Poison Ant Gang, and for at least 2 months you’ll still be able to breathe in this broken house with all your hands and feet intact!”
These words were like an opening.
A huge heap of disordered, chaotic memories, text passages, and bizarre common knowledge entirely different from his past poured into Shi Cunjin’s brain, making him feel as if waking from a dream!
Shi Cunjin struggled to draw two breaths and barely managed to pin down his present role and circumstances.
He had transmigrated!
Into a dog-blood love story full of love-hate entanglements!
The protagonists and supporting characters who fell in love are a humanoid species whose biological name is the Zerg Race. Similar to vampires and demons, the Zerg Race can switch form between a handsome, extraordinary human body and a formidable, terrifying nonhuman war-weapon.
The Zerg Race love story Shi Cunjin had been put into had ended with a rotten-tailed BE 1 Bad Ending trajectory. The readers, who had read enthusiastically because of the HE tag in the synopsis, were in a furor and entirely refused to acknowledge the ending of the story, and as a result the novel world that the story had turned into was at risk of collapse and destruction!
The system that had caused Shi Cunjin to transmigrate was extremely weak. Before shutting down, it flustered-ly begged Shi Cunjin to repair the original novel’s rotten-tailed BE ending.
As for the original book’s plot, the weak system only explained a general direction, in slurred speech:
The story’s protagonist was an everybody’s-darling male-zerg gong 2 Top in a BL dynamic who, having failed to handle his harem properly, fell out before marriage with the official-pairing marshal shou, a man of paranoid nature. The two protagonists’ personalities had been established as complete in the early-to-middle parts, leaving even the original author unsure how to wrap it up, and in the end she forcibly wrote a marriage HE.
The content of the final chapter could simply disgust readers to death. The official-pairing shou 3 Bottom in a BL dynamic was a man of towering war merits, invincible like a war god on the battlefield, and yet pure of heart like a newborn baby, never doubting a single word of the gong’s; outwardly cold and cruel, but inwardly affectionate to the point of stupidity.
After becoming the youngest marshal in history, the very first thing he did was take his medal of honor and go propose to the gong, and the final ending was actually that he wore five green hats 4 cuckold on his head!
From the Light of the Alliance he became the shiniest stamp in the everybody’s-darling gong’s stamp-collecting conquests 5 This is similar to becoming a trophy in a heartthrob’s shelf .
This left readers who had come in for a sweet-pampering HE 1v1 dumbstruck, and what was even more suffocating was that the author directly completed the book right after finishing this chapter. The reader section simply exploded! Author! Where’s the sweet-pampering 1v1 6 monogamous from the synopsis??
Before Shi Cunjin had time to digest this headless-tailless ghost-thing 7 nonsense , the system had dragged him into the new world, the whole process taking no more than 5 seconds.
The last thought he had before being forced to close his eyes was: why are you grabbing me, go grab the original author!
When he opened his eyes again, he had already landed and was getting beaten.
The transmigration location was also not like the protagonist’s opening, born on a safe main star, but rather a chaotic border star a hundred thousand miles away from the main star!
In the book, but now it was a real, future other-world—
The dominant creatures of this world were divided into three kinds: female zergs, sub-females, male zergs.
Female zergs accounted for the largest proportion of the world’s population, possessed the biological ability to fully transform into nonhuman weapons, had powerful physical capabilities, and a lone soldier could survive alone in outer space from 60 minutes to 12 hours, varying, being the main combat force for opening up the Star-sea battlefields.
Their powerful war strength made female zergs’ spirits generally not very stable; once the spirit lost control, they would turn into terrifying killing machines incapable of communication, until they died of exhaustion.
Sub-females accounted for 30% of society’s population. They were a sub-species of female zergs, with incomplete transformation ability and irreversible genetic defects, moderate capabilities, could snap steel pipes with bare hands, and were the mainstay force supporting the society’s basic operation.
Male zergs were extremely rare, possessed the mysterious power to soothe female zergs’ out-of-control spirit, held a special status, and were placed under the Alliance’s concentrated protection.
Shi Cunjin, the same as the male lead, had transmigrated into a male zerg.
But, fatally, the male-zerg body he had entered was weak and powerless, and was of the lowest-tier, F-grade!
In the biological hierarchy, F-grade male zergs had very poor aptitude; before adulthood, the gland at the back of the neck could not secrete a single trace of pheromone. Looking only at build and appearance, F-grade male zergs differed little from sub-females, could hide their identity well, and would not be abducted to have their blood drawn.
As for this body Shi Cunjin had transmigrated into: the female-father had died early, the elder brother who was like a father had joined the army early, and had died in battle this year in some major war.
Along with the news of his own elder brother’s death in battle, the original body had also received two orphans as a bonus. Not even two days of raising them, and the local gang snakeheads, acting on the first whiff of the news, came bullying up to his door, impatient to squeeze oil 8 value out of the weak original owner who had lost the zerg who protected him.
The original owner had been threatened and extorted by precisely this very crowd in front of him, and was frightened to death alive!
The cause of the book-transmigration and the original body’s memories rushed in all at once, and Shi Cunjin’s vision went black, and he nearly fainted.
…What a heaven-collapsing beginning!
The brawny man, seeing this “waste-of-a-sub-female” lying on the ground only gasping in pain without uttering a word, impatiently turned his gaze toward another corner of the room. In the shabby little house, all sorts of picked-up junk were piled up. His sharp eyes saw something, and he let out a malice-filled laugh, one that made one’s hair stand on end in the broken little house.
“If you’re not willing to hand over gold lu, then sell us the two zerglings hidden in the corner.”
“Your brother could fight his way into Aotuwen Military Academy, and even scraped together enough contribution points to exchange for frozen sperm and have zerglings; his constitution must be far better than yours, you maggot.”
The brawny man’s laugh was mixed with jealousy and malice. Strength went into his foot, treading on Shi Cunjin until he was nearly suffocated, and he asked: “Deal?”
The thin, faint sobbing in the room was throttled short.
An even greater amount of information made another story-setting flash and vanish in Shi Cunjin’s mind. Coughing, he forcefully spat out the clotted blood in his mouth.
This passage that barely counted as good news made Shi Cunjin take a deep breath. In for a penny, in for a pound 9 It means that once you have committed to starting a task or project, you should finish it completely, regardless of the time, effort, or cost required , he began to deceive: “My brother wasn’t a third-class private!”
The brawny man mocked: “Your brother was a deserter, a coward?”
The “waste-of-a-sub-female” pinned to the floor said in a hoarse, feeble voice: “Before my brother died in battle he was promoted to sergeant!”
“When one dies in battle, there’s not only a bereavement pension, the Alliance military-affairs express will also mail over a noncommissioned officer’s medal.” Shi Cunjin coughed twice, trying to make his voice and words clear.
“The cheque for the gold lu transfer is sent out together with the military-affairs express. This is what the service center said when I collected the zerglings eirlier, cough.. cough…”
“Boss Andong…”
The pinned “waste-of-a-sub-female” begged in fright: “By then I’m willing to hand up all the pension gold lu obtained at the officer level, I only beg you to leave my brother’s medal and the zerglings. The zerglings have a genetic disease, otherwise they wouldn’t have been sent back to me.”
The room fell quiet for a moment, with only Shi Cunjin’s pained, coarse panting. Sweat flowed into his eyes, stinging so sharply it hurt, yet he dared not wipe it.
Before the next drop of sweat could flow down, the boot on Shi Cunjin’s back, heavy as a steel hammer, was finally lifted away.
More sour, stinking oxygen rushed into Shi Cunjin’s lungs. He even wanted to retch, but also let out a long breath, no longer constantly on the edge of dying by suffocation.
A black shadow squatted down before him, and instantly a stab of sharp pain came from his head. In Shi Cunjin’s heart, there was a burst of national quintessence birdsong and flower fragrance 10 It is a Chinese euphemism for profanity .
The hulking big man yanked Shi Cunjin by the hair, forcing him to raise his head and face him.
Across the man’s face lay a hideous scar. The black pupils occupied the entire eyeballs with no whites. His smile was exceedingly dreadful, canines jutting out like a wolf’s, and on his head stood two things like ant antennae… those were ant antennae.
