During our summer holiday in Europe, my three friends and I visited an art museum. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡBiArSDw63B

Mia had suggested it. She loved old buildings and could spend ages in front of a single painting. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡQVoeNDJUaX

Daniel usually wanted to know where we would eat next. Oliver carried his camera everywhere and took more photos than the rest of us combined. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡaGEgQyOTV4

I had left the day’s plans to Mia, as I usually did when we travelled together. After walking around the city all morning, a cool, quiet museum sounded perfect. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡ1UN4ZrN6nY

The building was beautiful. Marble pillars stood in the entrance hall. Paintings in gold frames lined the walls. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡkisPbqvuA0

High above us, angels floated across a painted sky. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡwJZl9qO5zT

"See? Worth coming," Mia said. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡB4lgRLkJHQ

Daniel wiped the sweat from his forehead. "As long as the air conditioning works." 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡyUoxE7GjqQ

We spent almost an hour walking through the galleries. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡPXkldPf1gW

Then we reached a quiet room at the very back of the museum. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡTKAnugFmGf

The last of a tour group was leaving through the opposite doorway. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡLLbGWAQm77

That was when I noticed the passage. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡQ0zpImNsXr

It was hidden behind a tall display cabinet. Unless you stood in exactly the right place, you would never see it. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡtAzc8P5jYF

"Is there another room through there?" I asked. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡeOMYP5r1wr

Mia came to look. Her eyes lit up. 112Please respect copyright.ＰＥＮＡＮＡll1Z14Mymf
