Chapter 22

ELEENA'S POV

"Thank you" I said and grab the medicine. Tumigil muna kami sa isang Village para magpahinga muna. Mas lalong lumalala yung pakiramdam ko.

I need to grab some water to this. Nilibot ko ang paningin ko at may nakita akong isang maliit na restaurant. I put the medicine in my pocket and walk towards the restaurant.

"Welcome, Lady Dolan. What can I do for you?" Bungad sakin ng isang waiter. I think everyone knows about me. Well, I'm the only woman in this world who only have this black hair and purple eyes?!

"I just want a glass cup of water" I said and smiled. He escorted me on one of the tables.

I look at the window and saw Zane standing beside my stallion. I think he's looking for me. Dumating naman ang waiter at nilagay sa lamesa yung baso.

"Thank you" I said and grab the medicine in my pocket. Agad kong ininom ito at lumabas ng restaurant. I walk towards Zane and he immediately noticed me.

"Eleena! Where have you been? I was looking for you everywhere" bungad niya sakin.

"I just grab a water from that restaurant" sabi ko at tinuro yung gusali. Napabuntong hininga naman siya.

"Jeez, I was worried about you" alalang sabi niya na ikinatawa ko.

"There's nothing bad is going to happen to me Zane. Calm down" Tawa kong sabi. Napasimangot naman ako ng bigla niyang ginulo yung buhok ko. Naka pony tail ito pero nagulo parain niya.

Nagtaka naman ako ng bigal siyang napatigil. Nakita kong nangunot ang noo niya.

"Wait" sabi niya at nilagay ang palad niya sa noo ko. Tinignan naman niya ako ng masama at ningitian ko naman siya.

"What the heck Eleena! Your forehead is burning like hell" seryoso niyang sabi.

Hayst, here we go again...

"Zane! You don't need to shout" mahina kong sabi.

"You need medicine. Come with me. Kukuha tayo ng gamot" sabi niya at hinila ako.

"There's no need for that Zane. I've already taken one" sabi ko at ngumiti. Mukha namang gumaan ang pakiramdam niya sa sinabi ko.

"You should have told me in the first place Eleena" alala niyang sabi. Hinawakan ko ang kamay niya at tinignan siya.

"I'm fine Zane. Don't worry. I'll be okay" I said.

"Kailangan mong magpahinga. Sumakay kanalang sa carriage namin" sabi niya. Umiling naman ako.

"No, bakamahawaan ko pa kayo. I should be okay riding my horse" Sabi ko. Narinig naman naming magpapatuloy na kami sa paglalakbay.

"Go back to your carriage now. I'll be fine" I assured him. He sighed and go back to his carriage. I hop on the horse and followed Caspian's carriage.

ZANE'S POV

Nagsimula nang gumalaw ang carriage. I look at her and she's not looking good. She's sweating so much.

I'm worried...

"Is there a problem Zane? You look worried" sabi ni Christina.

"Eleena have cold Christina. I'm worried" sabi ko. She seemed shock to what I said.

"What?! Papasukin mo siya dito! Being there outside is uncomfortable!" Gulat niyang sabi at tinignan si Eleena.

"She doesn't want to get us affected on her cold" I said.

"I also don't feel good this days" rinig kong sabi na ikinalingon ko.

"What happened? Should we call a doctor for you?" I said. Umiling naman siya.

"I'll just tell Leo about this Zane" sabi niya at ngumiti. Bat ba maraming nagkakasakit ngayon?

*FAST FORWARD*

ELEENA'S POV

We decided to take a rest now. We all ended up sleeping on the forest. The village we passed by had no available rooms for all of us. Tinignan ko ang pocket watch at 8:58 na pala. Bumaba ako  at binigay sa kawal ang kabayo. May lumapit naman saking kawal at binigay sakin ang bag ko at gitara?

Sa pagkakaalam ko di ko to dinala. Tinanggap ko nalang itonat dumeretso sa may bonfire. I saw the knights building the tents.

"Eleena"

Napalingon ako sa likod at nakita si Caspian. Ano nanaman bang kailangan niya?

"Greetings, Your Majesty" Bati ko sakanya.

"I need to talk to you" seryosong sabi niya. I sigh and look at him.

"Fine, anong gusto mong pag usapan natin?" Sabi ko. Napataas naman ang kilay ko ng tinuro niya ang kabilang bahagi ng gubat.

"Let's talk there" sabi niya at umuna. Napailing nalang ako at sumunod sa kanya.

Nakarating na kami. Sumadal ako sa puno at tinignan siya.

"So, what do you want to talk about?" Sabi ko at inaayos ang bag ko.

"About the other day-----"

"There's no need for that Your Majesty. I know that you've been mistaken me as Princess Roselia" sabi ko. Kailangan pa ba niyang balikan yun? Sinaktan niya ulit ako. Gusto niya bang mamatay ako sa sakit ng idinudulot niya?

"No, it's not---" I immediately stop him.

"Yun lang ba sasabihin mo? I still have to do something Caspian" walang emosyon kong sabi. I was about to go when he suddenly touch my hand. Agad kong itinabig ng malakas ang kamay niya.

"DONT...TOUCH...ME" diin kong sabi. He seemed suprise to what I did.

"If you attempt on hurting me again Caspian. You did never fail. As Always..." I said and left him.

I'm done with this sh*t!

Sakto namang paglabalik namin ay nagsimula na ang hapunan. It's just a bread and a fruit. Okay naman sakin to dahil sanay na ako. Kinuha ko ang tinapay at nilagay sa isang papel. Kiinagat ko naman ang mansanas at pumasok kabilang bahagi ng gubat.

Naghahanap ako ng magandang pwedeng pag tambayan ko. May napansin ako maraming alitaptap na nagsiliparan sa malayuan. Sinundan ko ito at may isang mataas na damo na nakaharang. Pumasok ako dun at bumungad ang isang medyo di kaluwagan na lote.

May isang puno ditong nakatayo. Maypagkakahawig siya sa Golden Tree kaya lang walang Lake.

Naglakad ako papunta sa puno at umupo doon. Inubos ko muna yung mansanas bago kunin ang gitara.

Wala namang mangdidisturbo sakin dito diba?

I take a deep breath and started strumming the strings. I played the lullaby that I sang for the Tree. I just closed my eyes and feel the calmness of the song.

It takes a few minutes until it finished.

"It's beautiful"

Napadilat naman ang mata ko at nakita si Zane na nakatayo sa harapan ko.

"Zane, ginulat mo ako" sabi ko. Tumabi naman siya sakin at tumingin sa gitara.

"Can you play and sing it again for me Eleena? The song that you sang on the empire" Sabi niya. I nooded and strum the strings.

"If we had one day on earth. Who would you spend it with? If you could choose who you wanted to kiss. Who would that be?" I sang. He just looks at me and listen to the song.

"I wanna believe if tommorow was not guaranteed"

Nabigla ako ng sumabay si Zane sa pagkanta.

"With you, with you, with you. Spend it with you" we both sang. He grabbed my hand ang put it on his cheeks.

"Eleena, I know your still thinking to that man. He did terrible things to you and I know their still love remain in your heart for him" sabi niya na ikinatigil ko.

"When I saw you help Caspian on that night. I saw it in your eyes. It struch through ny heart that Caspian had still a chance to steal you away from me again" sabi niya. I saw him take a deep breath and continued speaking.

"You never saw me as a man to you Eleena.You know that I love you Agapí Mou" he said and saw tears falling on his cheeks.

"Can I be him? Can I be the one for you Eleena?"
