Chapter 47

ZANE'S POV

"Kadenahan niyo siya" sabi ni Amadues. The demons immediately followed him. They started to chain Eleena's both hands and feet. Pinatulog niya si Eleena dahil sa pagmumimilagas niya.

I have no choice but this is the only way I can make her mine.

"HAHAHA, the b*tch has already been captured" sabi ni Roselia. Nagulat ako ng bigla niyang sinipa ang mukha ni Eleena. Agad akong naglakad papalapit sa kanya at hinila siya papalapit sakin.

"Dare to hurt her Roselia. Ako ang makakalaban  mo" diin kong sabi at hinigpitan ang hawak sa pulso niya.

"Tsk! Fine. Calm down Zane. Makukuha rin natin ang gusto nating dalawa" sabi niya at hinila ang kamay niya. I walk towards Eleena and carried her. I gently lean her on the wall.

*FLASHBACK*

"A plan that will change everything" sabi niya. Napataas naman ang kilay ko.

What the f*ck is he saying?!

"After I finish taking her power. You can have her  and I also have more things to give to you" sabi niya at ngumiti.

"What is it" seryoso kong sabi. Binitawan naman niya ang kahoy at lumapit sa kabayo.

"I can take you both to where no one could ever both of you nowhere to be found. If you are willing to let go of your position and...

I can kill the Emperor for you or put a curse on him. You choose" he said and stab the horse using his sword.

"How can I trust you" sabi ko. He handed out a ring. Napangisi naman ako.

"How can I trust you with that? It's just a piece of ring" di makapaniwalang sabi ko.

"It's not just a ring young man. There's a special mana have been stored on that ring. I actually gave the same to that Roselia but it's fake HAHAHA. I can't even believe that stupid woman believe in me" tawang sabi niya. I know Roselia is crazy about Caspian. She would anything just to make Caspian hers. Just like I want to do to Eleena.

"Why do you want her powers? To bring the Zemira down?" Seryosong sabi ko.

"You don't need to know Young Man. All you have to do is play with your part. Then Choose" sabi niya. Tinignan ko ang singsing at sakanya.

Eleena...

I grab the ring and smirk at him.

"Kill him"

ELEENA'S POV

Napadilat agad ako ng makarinig ako nang tunog ng kadena.  I saw a tall creature with a hideous face and horns and it was fixing the chain that was put on me.

A demon...

Agad akong lumayo kaya napatigil ito sa pag ayos. No, no,no, This is not happening right?

Naalala ko agad ang nangyari kanina.

Zane...

Nilibot ko ang paningin sa kwarto pero di ko siya nakita. Nahagip kong papalapit ang demonyo kaya agad akong tumayo.

"Stay the f*ck away from me!" Sigaw ko. Mukhang nabigla ito dahil sa sigaw.

I have to get out of here. I need to find a way!

"Caspian..." I wispered.

"Oh, The keeper is finally awake"

Napatingin ako sa pintuan at nakita si Amadues na naglalakad papunta sakin. I glared at him and the creep just smirk.

"What do you want from me" seryoso kong sabi. Umupo naman siya sa upuan at tinignan ako.

"You really look just like Brianna" sabi niya na ikinatigil ko. Anong kinalaman ni mama dito? Akala ko ba ako ang kailangan niya.

"You know what Eleena. I've come to love your Mother"

AMADUES POV

*Flashback*

My brother and I was with my Father. Father is asking what was happening on the border. He was planning on attacking Zemira.

I was staring at the woods. Behind those woods is already the border and the barrier.

"Amadues, don't get close to the Border.The Mages might see you" rinig kong sabi niya. Tumango naman ako.

I wonder how the other side looks like?...

Nilingon ko si Papa at saktong nakatuon siya sa kausap niya. Agad akong tumakbo papasok sa gubat. Diretso langa ng lakad ko hanggang sa makarating ako sa dulo. The barrier is just a feet away from me. I can see a beautiful plants in their ground. Nakuha naman agad ang atensyon ko sa isang halaman na may kulay dugo na di makikita dito sa mundo namin.

I want to get it...

I was about to walk towards the border when I heard a footsteps. Agad akong bumalik sa puno para mag tago.

To my surprise, I saw a girl...a beautiful girl.  Having a black hair and purple eyes.  Napahawak naman ako sa dibdib ng biglang tumibok ang puso ko ng napakabilis. I saw her pick up the plant with a red color.

She's beautiful...

Nagulat ako ng napalingon siya sa panig ko.

"Sinong nandyan" seryosong sabi niya. Nang dahil sa kaba agad akong lumuhod at nagtago sa damuhan.

"Come out. I won't hurt you" rinig kong sabi niya. If I come out will she be frightened?

Having this grey hair and cat like eyes and horns. Who would a living thing wouldn't be frightened?

I take a deep breath and stood up. Dahan dahan akong lumabas habang nakapikit ang mga mata ko.

Matatakot ba siya?

I heard her chuckled and I immediately opened my eyes.

"You don't need to closed your eyes. You don't look hideous" ngiting sabi niya na ikinatigil ko. Seeing her smiling and laughing makes her even more beautiful.

"Y-you look b-beautiful" sabi ko at agad umiwas ng tingin.

"Thank you. I like your eyes. What's your name?" Sabi niya at lumapit ng konti sa barrier na ikina atras ko.

"A-amadues" utal kong sabi.

"I'm Brianna. It's nice to meet you Amadues" sabi niya at ngumiti. Na alarma ako bigla ng makarinig ako ng yapak. Agad akong tumakbo papasok sa gubat at nag tago.

"Brianna! Ilang beses na kitang sinabihan na wag kang lalapit diyan!" Rinig kong sabi ng isang lalaki.

"But dad--"

"No buts Brianna. Halika na. We need to get ready for your papers in Nethilor" sabi ng lalaki at hinila siya papalayo.

When that day happened I always come to the border without my father knowing. I always sit and wait for her on that place expecting she would come back again.

But, years have passed she still didn't show up. Still, I didn't give up. I want to see her again. See her laugh and smile.

Her name keeps repeating in my mind and she keeps appearing to my dreams.

Until there was a time she finally showed up! For all the years I've waited she finally came back! Brianna became more and more beautiful.

I was very happy when I saw her but it suddenly fades when I saw her with a man.

Agad akong nagtago sa puno ng papalapit sila dito. That's were I knew it was Xian.

"Xian, I once met a person here before" rinig kong sabi ni Brianna na ikinatigil ko.

She didn't forget about me...

I'm glad she didn't.

"What do you mean?" Rinig kong sabi ni Xian.

"A demon but he's fine. He didn't hurt me" sabi ni Brianna.

"You know what Rian. Walang mabait na demonyo. That's why we have the barrier. They're dangerous"sabi ni Xian na ikinaseryoso ko.

"No, He even told his name" sabi Brianna.

"No, you shouldn't trust that demon. He's a demon Rian. Our enemy" rinig kong sabi ni Xian. Yeah, we are demons. We think of us as an enemy and we also think of them as an enemy.

But can't we just be one?No more wars. No more people and demons will suffer.

"Grabe ha. Parang ang tagal mo na akong nakilala eh apat na buwan mo pa lang ako nakilala. Pasalamat ka tinutulungan kita sa mga training mo" sabi ni Brianna at sinuntok ang tagiliran niya.

"Mahiya ka naman. Tinutulungan rin kita sa mga studies mo" sabi ni Xian at ginulo ang buhok ni Brianna. I can't stand seeing them like that. Agad akong tumalikod at naglakad papalayo.

Ang importante ay alam kong okay lang siya. Masaya na ako dun.

Seeing her with another man is painful but I can't do anything about it. We're completely different. There's no way she would fall for a demon like me.
