Chapter 57

ELEENA'S POV

"Here's his grave" he said and face the tombstone. Binasa ko ang nakasulat at napangiti ng mapakla.

Xian Caelum Albertine...

"H-hi, Dad" I greeted. I put the flowers infront of his grave. We pick this up near the church before we came here.

"I finally woken up. I'm sorry, wala ako sa araw ng libing mo. Ang tagal kasing gumising ng anak mo eh" sabi ko at pinunasan ang luha ko.

"I guess you already met Mom now. We didn't have much time to spend together but it's okay, Dad. You've been through a lot. You deserve to have a rest Dad...Together with Mom" sabi ko at pilit na ngumiti.

Masakit man pero kailangan mong tanggapin. Di sa lahat ng oras ang mga taong mahal natin nasa tabi natin parati. Someday they will leave you but you still need to move forward.

Naagaw ang atensyon ko sa tabi ng burol ni Dad  na ikinatigil ko nang mabasa ang nakasulat.

"M-mom.." bulas ko at tumingin kay Caspian.

"My Father still made a grave for your Mother even if her body was not found. I decided to put Xian's grave beside your Mother" sabi niya at hinawakan ang kamay ko.

"Thank you" I wispered and hug him. Kumalas sa yakap si Caspian at humarap sa burol nilang dalawa.

"You already gave me an approval to your daughter, Xian. I want to ask for an approval to your wife" bulas niya at tinignan ang libingan ni Mama.

"I would like to ask for an approval for your beautiful daughter Eleena Dolan Albertine. I promise I would treasure and protect her with all my life. I was a f*cking stupid man for hurting your daughter before but I promise I won't do it again" sabi niya. I was suprised when he slightly bowed. I mean who would an Emperor bow to others who's lower to them?

I felt the wind became strong and the flower petals flew away. Napangiti naman ako sa tinapik siya.

"I guess my Mom approved" sabi ko na ikinangiti niya.

"Really?" Ngiting sabi niya. Tumango naman ako at humarap sa kanila.

"Thank you for raising and protecting me Mom... Dad. I shall continue to move forward. I know both of you will always look out for me. I'll do my best and do the right thing na ikabubuti ng lahat" I said and bowed.

"I'll visit you again soon. We'll be going now. I love you" I said and smiled.

"Let's go" I said and grab his hand. I'm glad I chose to forgive him. He's a cold Emperor on the outside but there's a burning fire inside his heart that can melt down that attitude of his.

A sweet Emperor who's willing to cook for you and buy you some coffee beans. HAHAHA! Di ko parin kung bakit sakin lang to ngumingiti. Tinitipid ba niya? May limitasyon ba ngiti niya? Langya na curios ako bigla but the most important thing is he's right by my side right now. Alive and holding my hand.

"You know what, Albertine sounds good" ngiting sabi ko.

"We can change your surname of you want to. Pero pansamantala lang din. It will change into a Heisenberg soon" sabi niya na ikinatawa ko.

"Mangamba ka. Baka di kita papakasalan" sabi ko at napatawa. Nagtaka naman ako ng bigla siyang tumigil sa paglakad.

Nakasimangot ito na ikinataka ko.

"You won't marry me? But why?" Simangot niyang sabi na ikinangiwi ko. Did he just believe what I just said?!

Look at this Emperor showing me those adorable face of his. How did this Emperor turned out to a dog who wants to be pet by his owner?!

"Both of your parents already approved. Saan na untog ulo mo? You don't love me anymore? You just told me a moment ago that you love me?!" Dugtong niya. Napasapo nalang ako sa ulo at napailing. San din kaya na untog ang ulo ng Emperor nato?

"Naniwala ka naman dun? It was just a joke Caspian. Goodness! San rin na untog ulo mo? Untogin natin ulit para maintindihan mo yu g salitang 'BIRO'" simangot kong sabi. Napakunot naman ang noo ko ng ngumiti siya.

"Oh? Tapos ngingiti ka diyan? Ayoko ko nang magbiro sayo Caspian. Sobra na ang talino mo. Nakakabobo na. Buti pa si Leo bobo nga pero nakakaintindi ng biro" sabi ko at naglakad patungo sa kabayo.

"You're face was too serious when you said it. Sino namang di maniniwala dun?" rinig kong sabi niya. Nilingon ko naman siya at sinamaan ng tingin.

"Kasalanan ko bang magaling ako magpanggap" sabi ko. Napatawa naman siyanat ginulo ang buhok ko na ikinasimangot ko.

"Langya, Kung tatawa lang. Tatawa lang walang halong panggugulo ng buhok. Siguradong maymagmamana sa anak mo yan" sabi ko at inayos ang buhok ko. Binuhat naman niya at ako ipinaupo sa kabayo.

"Anak 'NATIN' Eleena. Hindi anak 'KO' lang" sabi niya at sumakay sa kabayo. The horse started run na ikinahawak ko sa bewang niya.

"Ayokong magka anak ng nanggugulo ng buhok" sabi ko at napatingin sa daan.

"At least hindi katulad kay Leo. Nangbabato nang sapatos at stinelas" he said and chuckled.

"May problema ka ba kay Christina, Caspian?" Seryoso kong sabi. Deserve namang mabatuhan ng sapatos si Leo dahil sa sakit nito sa ulo.

"I just can't imagine seeing my children throwing shoes everywhere. I feel bad for Leo" sabi niya. Napairap nalang ako.

"I also can't imagine seeing my child messing other peoples hair" simangot kong sabi. Tapos ano? Sasabihin kong namana sa Ama?

"Children, Eleena. C-H-I-L-D-R-E-N" diing sabi niya na ikinatigil ko. Napailing nalang ako sa pinagiisip ng Emperor na toh.

"Whatever, Caspian" sabi ko at itinuon ang sarili sa daan.

"You should go back to your room and rest. I still have some work to do" rinig kong bulas niya. Hmm, Speaking of work...

"By the way, Why is your office and Bedroom empty? Napaisip pa ako na patay ka na"tanong ko.

"I decided to change everything. Everything was messed up that is why. I also decided to change everything in your room once you woken up" sabi niya. Napansin ko agad ang palasyo. Tumango nalang ako sa sagot niya.

We finally arrive in the Rose Garden and a knight immediately approach us.

"Greetings, Your Majesty and Lady Eleena" sabi niya.

"Future Empress. Not Lady Eleena" seryosong bulas ni Caspian na ikinagulat ko. Nagulat rin ang kawal sa sinabi ni Caspian.

"I-i apologize Your Majesty. G-greetings, Future Empress" kinakabahan niyang sabi at nag bow. Napangiti nalang ako ng pilit.

"Spill it"walang emosyong sabi ni Caspian at bumaba sa kabayo. Hays, why would he just talk to the knight with a calm voice? Mukhang mamatay na sa takot ang kawal sa pinaggagawa niya.

Ibinaba naman ako ni Caspian at agad inayos ang damit.

"We found the Demon King's dead body" sabi ng kawal na ikitigil ko. Napatingin ako kay Caspian at ganun din ang reaksyon niya.

"The Crowned Prince of Fire Kingdom is at Your Throne Room,Your Majesty" sabi ng kawal.

"Let's go, Eleena" bulas ni Caspian at hinawakan ang kamay ko.

"Anong ibig sabihin niya? Amadues didn't die immediately?" Tanong ko.

"Yes, he manage to escape when you were out of control" bulas niya.

"Is my Father and him only died that time?" Tanong ko. I didn't know what happened when I started to lose my control. All I can remember is when Amadues killed Dad.

"Troy Klevzan and Roselia also died" sabi niya at binuksan agad ng kawal ang pintuan. I immediately saw Prince Renzo.

"Greetings, Your Majesty" bati agad niya.

"What's the report" sabi niya at umupo sa harap. Prince Renzo also greeted me and I greeted him back.

"We've found Amadues body near at the east side of the border but he isn't only the one we've found" sabi niya na ikinakunot ng noo ko.

"What do you mean" seryosong sabi ni Caspian.  A knight walk towards him and gave him a thing that has been wrap by a cloth.

"We found him sitting beside on a grave" sabi siya habang inaalis ang tela na nakabalot.

That grave must be precious to Amadues.Who would a dying person still suffer to go there just to see a someone's grave? I wonder who that person was...

"We also found this sword, Your Majesty. Nakalagay ito sa ibabaw ng burol" sabi niya. Nang makita ko ang espada di agad ako nagkamali nang makita ang gem.

It was my Mother's Sword...

"My Mother's Sword..." bulas ko na ikinatingin nila sakin. Nilapitan ko siya at kinuha ang espada.

"It's my Mom's Sword, Your Majesty" I said and smiled.

"We gave him a proper burial beside that grave, Your Majesty. Then, shall we seal the border tommorow, Your Majesty?" Tanong ni Prince Renzo. Prince Renzo is kind just like Alejandro. Even have gave Amadues a burial. I still need to ask Zane what was Amadues plan the whole time.

"No, The Future Empress is still weak. She needs to rest" sabi Caspian.

"It's okay, I'll seal the border tommorrow" sabi ko. He stood up and work towards us.

"You need to rest Eleena" sabi nuya na ikinailing ko.

"It's fine. It's been weeks since the mages ang knights protecting the border. I should seal it tommorow. Para makapagpahinga at makauwi narin sila" sabi ko. Napabuntong hininga naman siya at kalaunan ay sumang ayon rin.

"Then, I guess our people could witness a beautiful show tommorrow" sabi ni Prince Renzo na ikinataas ng kilay ko.

A show? May celebrasyon ba?

Mukhang nakuha ito ni Prince Renzo at napatawa.

"Every once a year. The Imperial Palace is publicly open for its people. They can visit here and take a stroll at the palace. They are starting to build the stalls now. Then at night, the mages have a beautiful light show in the sky called fireworks. I guess it been four years since the last time people visit here" sabi niya at napangiti. I was amazed. Leo never told about this neither Caspian.

"That sounds Amazing" ngiting sabi ko. I was about to return the sword to Prince Renzo pero di niya ito tinanggap.

"I believe it belongs to you. Keep it, Future Empress" sabi niya at agad nagpaalam saming dalawa.

"Are you sure about this Eleena?" Tanong ni Caspian tumango naman ako at ngumiti.

"Yes" sagot ko habang nakatingin sa Espada. The sword is still in its great condition. I think Amadues really takes care of it.

Napatingin naman ako kay Caspian ng hinalikan niya ang pisngi ko.

"Okay, I trust you" bulas niya at ngumiti.
