Chapter 60

ELEENA'S POV

I take a sip on the tea and look at the noble ladies. They were all having fun except for me.

Langya, gusto ko nang umuwi...

I took a glance on my new Personal Knight. She was just standing on the corner closing her eyes. Her name is Amora

While I was preparing myself for the tea party. Kiel suddenly came to my room and introduce her to me.

She was the assassin lady Kiel was talking about. This is her chance to prove herself that she's not an assassin. Well, if she's going to attack me I can protect myself. But I think she's a good woman.

Naramdaman kong may nakatingin sakin sa harap. I immediately caught Lady Stroban looking at me. When I arrive here everyone seems shock when I came. They even stutter while greeting me.

Langya! Ano bang nakakatakot sakin? I even wear this beautiful light dress with flowers on it. Is there something wrong with my face? Mukha ba akong halimaw sa kanila? Langya!

Dalawang araw na ang nakalipas sa kasal nina Anne. Zane was crying so bad on that day and I just remained to hug and comfort him. Men are not emotionless. They also cry...

Ibinigay niya rin sakin ang Gãrtx. I kept it together with my Mom's Sword.

"Future Empress, does the Tea fit in your taste?"  Lady Audler asked.

"Yes, It's delicious" sabi ko na ikinangiti niya. Alliah Audler. She's the youngest child of the Audler Family. Sa pagkaka alam ko may Kapatid siyang lalaki na magiging susunod na tagapag mana.

"Have you heard about the Zodvic? My brother once visited there and it was now doing okay!" Sabi ng isang dalaga.

I also heard from Caspian about the Zodvic. Malaki ang pinagbago ng lugar na yun. Some of the people ask the knights if when will I visit there again. Para makapaghanda sila.

"The Future Empress really has done a great work!" sagot ni Lady Audler.

"I just gave some opinions at that time" I said and take a sip on the tea.

"Will the Emperor take other concubines?"sabi ng isang dalaga na ikinatigil ko. I look at the woman beside Lady Audler. Everyone was shock to what she said.

"Lady Brooke! How can you say that infront of the Future Empress!" Saway ng isang dalaga.

"What do you mean, Young Lady" kalmang sabi ko.

"The Emperor can have many wives right? He just need a woman who can be the Empress and the others will be his Queen and Concubines" sabi niya na ikinaseryoso ko. This lady is getting on my nerves right now.

"I don't think the Emperor will look for more concubines, Lady Brooke. The Concubines Palace is just now a place to stock the palace's food supply" Singit ni Lady Stroban.

"Yes, Lady Stroban is right. Since Emperor Castier was throned he makes the concubines palace as a food stock building" Lady Audler replied. What would she think of Caspian? A womanizer?

"Well, I guess Lady Brooke also want to be one of the Emperor's concubines" I said and smirk.Mukhang nagulat siya sa sinabi ko oero agad niyang ibinalik ang normal na ekspresyon niya.

"But I don't think the Emperor has a plan for that. I'll let you know Lady Brooke if he's looking for a concubine" sabi ko na ikinatigil nilang lahat.

The room is completely silent until Lady Stroban spoke.

"Future Empress"

Napatingin naman ako kay Lady Stroban. Napatingin rin sa kanya ang ibang dalaga.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" Sabi niya na ikinatahimik naming lahat.

Ano namang paguusapan namin? Wala naman kaming atraso sa isat-isa. Ibinaba ko ang tasa at tumayo na ikinatingin nilang lahat sakin

"Where shall we talk?" sabi ko. Tumayo naman siya at nilapitan ako.

"We have a spare room here to have you both a private conversation, Future Empre---"

"It's fine, Lady Audler. Have some fun with the other ladies" I said and walk towards the door. Sumunod naman si Amora.

She take me at the side of the Mansion.

"What do you want to talk about, Lady Stroban?" simpleng sabi ko. I motioned my hand to Amora to give us some privacy.

"Future Empre---"

"You can talk casually now, Lady Stroban" sabi ko at ngumiti.

"It's about Zan----"

"What about him?" Tanong ko. I saw take a deep breath and continued to speak.

"I love him for years. I know she loved you very much. He's willing to take risk just to have you and I want to make Zane happy. Please choose him over the Emper-----" di ko na siya pinatapos at hinawakan ang kamay niya.

"It's okay, Lady Stroban. We've talk about this with Zane. I love the Emperor. I can't just marry a man whom I don't love" sabi ko na ikinatigil niya. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako.

"You love him right? Zane told me before that he can learn to love someone.Sometimes you gotta fight your love Lady Stroban and when it's worth to fight for" sabi ko. Napatigil kaming dalawa nang makarining kami nang pagkabagsak at kaluskos.

"What was that?" Tanong ko at napatingin sa isang maliit na bahay. It seems old...

Naglakad kaming dalawa patungo doon.

"Hello? Is someone there?" Bulas ni Lady Stroban. She was about to open the door when I heard someone called us.

"Future Empress! Lady Stroban!"

Nilingon ko ito at si Lady Audler pala.

"Anong ginagawa niyo po diyan? Baka po kayo ay madumihan" hingal niyang sabi. .

"We heard a loud noise inside. We just want to check" sabi ko.

"Ah--eh. Lagayan lang po yan ng mga walis at panglinis. Baka po ay mga daga ang inyong narinig" sabi niya at umiwas ng tingin sakin. Why does she look nervous?

"Then, I shall leave quite early. I still have some urgent things to do. I appreciate your invitation Lady Audler" sabi ko. Lumapit naman agad si Amora at binuksan ang parasol.

"I'm glad you came for my tea party, Future Empress" she happily said and did the courtesy. I grab the parasol and gave it to Lady Stroban.

"It's too sunny right now. Share it with Lady Audler. Then, I shall take my leave" I simply said . They both bid their farewell and did the courtesy.

"It's hot right now, Future Empress. You should never gave the parasol to them" bulas ni Amora.

"It's okay Amora. Sanay na ako sa ganitong init" I said and smiled. Ilang kilometro nga nilakad ko para makapunta sa skwelahan noon ito pa kayang maglalakad kalang patungo sa carriage.

"You are kind, Future Empress. I wonder why they are all afraid to you" sabi niya na ikinatawa ko.

"Maybe because of my appearance?" Sabi ko. Binuksan naman niya ang pintuan ng carriage.

"They judge you base on your appearance, Future Empress. They must have imagined you're exactly the same to the Emperor" sabi niya at umupo sa kabila.

"Takot ka din sa Emperor?" Tanong ko. Tumango naman ito.

"The Emperor killed one of the Earl in our place" sabi niya. I also heard from Leo from the past four years. All he did was kill the noble who  betray him. I guess that Earl must have been one of the people who betray the Empire.

"Hindi ka po ba takot sa Emperor, Future Empress" seryosong sabi niya na ikinatawa ko. Bakit naman ako matatakot sa Emperor na yun? He's the sweetest of all.

"Okay lang po ba kayo? Nababaliw na po ba kayo dahil sa pananakit niya?" Alalang sabi niya na ikinatawa ko lalo.

"HAHAHAHA!Langya ka talaga Amora!" Tawang sabi ko na ikinataka niya.

"I like you" tawang sabi ko. Langyang babaeng to ginagawa akong battered future Empress.

"Lah! Wag po ako. Lalaki po ang gusto ko" gulat niyang sabi.

"HAHAHA! Not in that way, Amora. Jusko! Papakasalan ko pa ang Emperor kung tipo ko naman babae" sabi ko. Napaisip naman siya ng segundo at sumang ayon sa sinabi.

"Sabagay po" sabi niya at ikiniling ko nalang. This woman is interesting. I'm glad Kiel made her my Personal Knight.

CASPIAN'S POV

I took a glance on the time and it's almost lunch time.

"Is Eleena already here?" Tanong ko. Umiling naman si Alejandro at lumabas ng office. Is she okay? Did something happen. I'm worried...

I should go pick her up...

I stood up when the door opened and Eleena showed up.

"Eleena" I said and walk towards her.

"I'm home" masayang sabi niya na ikinangiti ko.

"Welcome home, My love" I said and gave her a peck kiss on the lips. We headed to the dining hall to have some lunch.

"How's the tea party?" I ask. Nakita kong napabunto g hininga ba ikinataka ko.

"It was fine but not completely enjoyed" malamyang sabi niya.

As expected to a Coffee addict woman...

"Just as I thought" bulas ko at binuksan ng kawal ang pintuan.

"What do you mean?" Taas kilay niyang sabi. Pinaupo ko siya una at umupo sa tabinh upuan niya.

"We'll, if I throw a coffee party. Ikaw lang makakaubos nang lahat ng yun" I said and chuckled. Napatigil ako nang bigla niyang hinampas ang balikat ko.

"Langya ka talaga, Caspian" simangot niyang sabi at nagsimulang lumamon.

"Don't rush Eleena. Marami pang pagkain" sabi ko at ikinawit ang buhok na nakaharang sa mukha niya.

"Uyy!!!! Kakain na pala! You should have called me!" Bungad ni Leo at umupo sa kabila sumunod naman si Alejandro.

"The painter will arrive later" I said and continued to eat. Napansin kong nakataas ang kilay ni Eleena.

"Why? May bagong klase ba ako?" Takang tanong niya na ikinailing ko.

"Gaga! They'll make a portrait and hang them inside the palace" bulas ni Leo.

"Gaga ka rin! Masama bang maghula? Bwiset ka talaga Leo. Magkaka anak kana!" Singhal ni Eleena.

Hays, here we go again.

ELEENA'S YOU

"Caspian" I said and he just pat my head. He was wearing an Elegant clothes just like mine.

"Where's the painter?" Tanong ko. Nilibot ko ang tingin at may isang magarang upuan at disenyo sa pader.

"Greetings, Your Majesty. Greetings, Future Empress" bati ng kabagong pasok ng pintor.

Umupo naman si Caspian at umupo ako sa arm rest. Langya! Sasakit ang pwet ko nito. It takes hours bago matapos to.

Naghanda narin ang pintor at tumingin saming dalawa. Ngumiti naman ako na  ikinangiti rin ng pintor.

"F*ck! Don't f*cking smile on my wife!GET THE F*CK OUT!" Sigaw ni Caspian na ikinagulat ko. What the heck?! I  saw the painter immediately get out of the room.Takot na takot. Napabuntong hininga nalang ako.

"Calm down! There's nothing wrong with it!Goodness, Caspian! Aatakihin ako sa puso ng dahil sayo!" sabi ko.

"No! Ako lang ang lalaking pwedeng ngumiti sayo!" sabi niya na ikinangiwi ko. Napasapo nalang ako sa noo.

I hug him and gave him a kiss on the lips.

"I know. Ngumiti lang naman ako para maganda ang kinalalabasan ng portrait. Yun lang naman ang rason" sabi ko. Niyakap niya naman ako ng mahigpit.

"Sorry, I was jealous of him" sabi niya na ikinangiti ko. Bat naman siya magseselos sa pintor nayun eh mas lamang pa siya.

"I love you" he whispered.

"I love you too, Caspian" I said and hug him back.
