Chapter 8

ELEENA'S POV

I'm taking my time here in the terrace. Ako lang din naman ang nandito. Si Zane kasi pumunta muna kay Christina. Ayoko ko namang sumama dahil nandoon si Leo at alam kong maraming tanong ang lalabas sa bungagang yun. I take a sip on my wine and look up. Madami nang mga bituin. Kahit ito lang ang tanging libangan ko noon sa bundok sa loob ng apat na taon di parin ako nauumay sa ganda nito.

"Elise Stroban"

Napalingon naman ako kung sino yun at nagulat sa nakita. I immediately bowed and greeted him.

What is he doing here?

"Greetings, Prince Kiel" sabi ko at tumayo ng maayos.

"What are you doing here?" Tanong niya.

"I need some fresh air, Your Highness. Di rin kasi ako sanay sa mga ganito" sabi ko at ngumiti. Ngumiti rin siya pabalik.

"You're the woman who look at me in Winter Kingdom right? I never thought I would meet you here" sabi niya habang nakatingin sa mga bituin. Napalingon naman ako sa kanya. Di parin nag bago ang kalooban ni Kiel. Ang bait parin niya.

"I'm sorry about that, Your Highness" sabi ko. Lumingon naman siya at tinignan ako sa mata.

"Honestly, you look so similar to her" sabi niya. Napataas naman ng konti ang kilay ko.

"Who? Your Highness?" Tanong ko.

"You probably heard about The Future Empress before right?" Sabinniya na ikinatigil ko. Tumango nalang ako sakanya.

"Nakikita ko lang siya sayo. Kakaiba rin kasi siyang mag damit and also drawn by the color of the design to your dress" sabi niya at tinuro yung mga bulaklak sa balikat ko.

"Her eye color is beautiful as those. She looked different but that makes her even more beautiful and precious" sabi niya habang napapangiti. Looking at his reaction makes me feel bad. I didn't even had a proper goodbye to him.

Napahawak naman ako sa balikat at tinignan siya.

I'm sorry Kiel...

"I'm so sorry about that, Your Highness" sabi ko. Umiling naman siya.

"I didn't give up on searching for her. Caspian told me she appeared in the empire just to revive the tree. I hope I was there too" sabi niya. But I was just looking at him. Napatahimik naman kaming dalawa ng ilang sigundo.

"It was nice to meet you, Lady Stroban. I shall take my leave now. Thank you for hearing me out" sabi niya at aalis na.

"Wait, Your Highness" sabi ko. Tumifil naman siya sa paglalakad at nilingon ako.

"Why did you share those things to me? We just barely met" sabi ko.

"Magaan ang kalooban ko sayo and I know you'll keep it" Sabi niya at iniwan akong nakatulala dito.

For over 4 years hinahanap niya din pala ako at di parin siya sumusuko.

A tear fall trough my cheeks. Agad ko naman itong pinunasan.

Pwede mo naman akong kalimutan Kiel. Why do you still keep on searching for me? I even put your life in danger.

"Eleena?"

Nilingon ko ito at si Zane pala. Nagulat siya ng nakita akong umiiyak.

"What happened?" Alalang tanong niya at pinunasan ang mga luha ko.

"I just met Kiel. We just talk for a while" sabi ko.

"He's also searching for me, Zane. Why don't he just give up?" I sobbed. Niyakap naman niya ako.

"I understand him, Eleena. You are precious to him. Just like me. I also didn't give up searching for you. And now, I finally found you. Hugging you in my arms right now. Comforting you" sabi niya.  Kumalas siya sa yakap at pinunasan ang mga luha ko.

"Don't cry okay? You'll ruin your make up. Sige ka papangit ka" sabi niya. Napasimangot naman ako at hinampas ang balikat niya.

"Langya ka talaga tanda" sabi ko pero tumawa lang ang baliw.

"Let's go back inside" sabi niya at hinila ako.

Ngumiti nalang ako ka kakulitan ng matandang to.

Napatigil naman kami ng may humarang sa daan namin. My smile formed on my lips is  slowy fading.

"Greetings, Your Highness and Lady Stroban" bati nito at ngumiti.

"Long time no see, Princess Roselia" sabi ni Zane.

Roselia Buckenham. The one who destroyed everything.

"It's been four years since the last I saw you, Your Highness" sabi niya at tinignan ako. Napaseryoso naman ang mukha ko.

"Greetings, Princess Roselia" bati ko sakanya. Ngumiti naman siya na patang mapupunit na yung makapal niyang pisngi.

"Is this your new woman, Your Highness? I thought it was Eleena Dolan? Where did she go off to? Did she leave you like she did to the Emperor?" Sabi niya. Naramdaman ko namang napahigpit ang  hawak ni Zane sakin.

This b*tch!

"How dare---" napatigil naman si Zane dahil agad akobg sumingit.

"Really Princess Roselia? I didn't even heard that kind of news!" Gulat kong sabi.

Tsk! This woman need to prepare her body to be burried alive.

"Oh? You didn't heard that Lady Stroban? How sad. I thought every one in our continent knew that?" Sabi niya at ngiting ngiti.

"I'm not a fan of eavesdropping Princess Roselia and besides it's not my business" sabi ko at ngumiti. Napa seryoso naman ang mukha niya.

"I pity you, Lady Stroban. You even don't know that your lover has involve in that kind of scandal" sabi niya at napatawa.

I walk towards her and glared at her.

"How dare you talk in front like that to His Highness. If I were you Princess Roselia. I would just close my mouth and mind my own business" bulong ko sakanya. Bumalik ako kay Zane at nakita ko ang reaksyon ni Roselia na ikinangiti ko.

Galit na Galit ang mukha niya. I look at Zane and smiled at him. Ngumiti naman siya sakin. Inilapit niya ang mukha sakin.

"I'm proud of you" sabi niya at ngumiti na parang baliw. I just rolled my and look at Roselia.

Nginitian ko naman siya.

"I hope you take my advice Princess Roselia. We didn't know if that mouth of yours start spouting made up stories and news" I said. She's like throwing daggers at me with those eyes.

"Then, We shall take our leave Princess Roselia. I hope we meet again" I said and get out of her sight.

I need to stop that mouth of hers. Kung pwede ko lang tahiin yung bibug niya gagawin ko talaga.

Well, she deserves it anyways.
