Chapter 31.1

My body was too weak to exercise properly, but I intended to increase my activity time little by little. If it was difficult to take a walk, I would take care of the plants in the garden.

I tried hard to walk to bring a fistful of strawberries from the garden to the chef. Ian tried to stop me, telling me to please move through magic, but I couldn’t let go of my stubbornness and was following him two steps behind.

A breathtakingly quiet hallway. At the end of it, a fire-like heat gradually appeared. As a result, the quietness beneath my feet slowly disappeared. I slowed down naturally.

Rather than being a gentle and elegant wizard, I saw a man who was more suited to be a warrior who rushed directly at his enemy and dropped their neck. The crude footsteps that seemed to be dragging were noisy.

A purple and a dark yellow liquid dripped from the hair that was blonde like Elizabeth’s. The clothes were messy, too. A ferocious stink pierced the tip of my nose.

He passed through me as if I did not exist in this space. But I had no intention of just letting him go. Whatever it was, I needed to know a little more about the state in which he had returned.

“Hi. Brother.”

I greeted him casually. The footsteps stopped, and I heard the sounds of his clothes rustling. It was only when I was sure Hendrik was staring at me that I slowly turned around.

“Are you hurt?”

“No.”

The bright red eyes gave off a strange glow, looking like they belonged to a monster.

“Alright. That certainly seems to be the case. That’s a relief.”

“…”

“Where did you get covered in that nasty stuff? Probably not around here. Did you go alone to eliminate it?”

“You. I heard you went out with Mikael.”

He easily ignored my question.

“I see that insignificant news has even reached you.”

“It’s shameless.”

Hendrik said, grudgingly.

“If you’re jealous, let me know. You don’t seem to be doing that for no reason.”

I laughed. There was nothing in this world that would really upset me anyway.

Because the only one who could make me upset, Celina, had put me inside her body and shut herself in a place I couldn’t reach.

“That child really…”

As I was about to say that he really liked me, I shut my mouth instinctively. Nothing good would come from provoking that bad-tempered guy. Let’s just tease him moderately.

“What?”

His eyebrows twitched.

“It’s nothing. Good job today.”

The moment I ignored him and turned back, something fell with a bang in front of me.

A threatening fire surged inside a greenish icicle.

Everything in front of the surprised Celina was blurred. Even Cola, who was inside the basket, looked back and hissed.

I clenched my legs, trying to relax. Have you seen such a violent man? Fortunately, thanks to Ian’s quick hands, my hair didn’t catch fire, but I felt extremely bad.

“This. Can I tell Father about this? That you’re trying to turn your precious little sister into a barbecue?”

The type of magic that Hendrik handled the best was fire. He answered my sharp question with a relaxed look.

“It’s fine for me. Feel free to do so.”

“No. Father is no fun, so I think it would be better to just tell Mikael.”

But when that one name came up, he wasn’t able to maintain his perfect tranquility. For a moment, he was clearly agitated.

“What kind of person are you to Mikael?”

I made fun of Hendrik. That’s right. You guys can’t get away from Mikael anyway, no matter what you do.

That’s my restraint and my magic.

“Get out of my way.”

After breathing irregularly for a while, he glared at me with fierce eyes before turning around.

“Young Lady.”

Ian called anxiously.

“I didn’t get hurt because of you.”

I glanced at Hendrik, who was getting further and further away.

“The next person who comes here should have reactions as quick as yours.”

I hoped it would be fine.

I arrived at the main hall on the first floor and tidied up my clothes. I fastened the knot on my white-furred cloak more tightly, and checked the condition of my boots. A thorough historical examination of my attire by period? There was no such thing here.

The weather right now was neither hot nor cold, but if you left the vicinity, you would find the coldest place in the country.

Of course, thanks to Elijah, no matter how cold it was, the lake never froze, and certain sections of the lake retained their habitable temperatures. Nevertheless, it was still extremely cold.

“Are you sure you’re fine crossing the lake yourself? I’m a little worried that you’ll be exhausted.”

Mikael was also wearing a thick winter coat. I had already appreciated the protagonist’s gorgeous clothes with twinkling eyes for a while. I couldn’t get enough of it.
