I always wanted to write a story about my home prefecture of Fukui, and my dream has finally come true. One of my favorite Fukui words is “skrishing.” For example, “I turned on the TV in the middle of the night, and it was really skrishin’ up a storm.” (The answer will be in the story sooner or later.)
