『 Some info 』: The reader is a new toon and doesn't know Teagen requires the tapes in order to heal herself, and gender isn't specific so; gender neutral!! Also platonic!! ^^

Humming a tune to yourself, you mosied about. Other toons did the same, searching for one of the four machines amongst the floor to begin working on.

An item or two was plucked from the floors by a few toons, however, all of them walked past the tapes which you found strange.

Weren't tapes required to buy from Dandy? All of the toons had dissapated from the front of the elevator, walking by two tapes in the front, which was snagged before continuing on your merry way.

As you continued walking along, somewhat self concious- as you had nothing to do since all the machines were taken- you felt a tad useless and just decided to watch, seeing some talk to whomever was on the machine or someone examine an item on the ground.

That was until a familiar, elegant figure caught your eye. Teagen's familiar, white feathered boa caught your attention, seeing as she knelt down and grabbed a tape and then another. Teagen had always been a figure of admiration to you, her teacup head was made of a fine porcelain that shined beautifully under the lights from above, the gold lining matching the complimenting, golden shimmering dress her slim figure was clad in.

With every step she took a soft click sounded from her short heels, which to no surprise was also gold and shone finely.

Despite the circumstances, Teagen was still a calm, soothing figure. And due to her peaceful demeanor, you naturally were drawn to her.

Your lips pressed into a flat line, head tilting as you watched her pause to converse with Poppy, whom she had bent over besides to grab a tape at said toons feet.

How come it was just you and Teagen picking up tapes?

A few floors later, the 8 of you filed out of the elevator with soft murmurs, all curious of what twisteds you'd encounter this floor. Pebble ran past and through the small crowds legs, shrimpo letting out an angry screech as he almost toppled over, making you giggle.

The rock-dog ran around a turn and let out his signature bark, presumably gathering the floors twisteds attention and taking them around in a circle.

Poppy peaked around the corner, wincing slightly seeing Pebble distracting in between two bookshelves. Teagen knelt down and took a research capsule in her hands, the tape wrapped around being pulled between her index and thumb fingers.

You stood beside her, squinting down at the letters somewhat smudged, reading them out for the others,

"Razzle & Dazzle?"

Shrimpo yelled angrily about hating the twisted, Rodger humming in thought at your side, "Ah, I see. Perhaps Razzle & Dazzle are at the broken elevator."

Poppy snapped her fingers, connecting the dots and grinning, "Yeah! That's probably it, Pebble can't distract there cause that's probably where they are."

Poppy elbowed Boxten, who nervously smiled  and took it. Poppy, enthusiastic as ever, encouraged him to come along with her to look for machines.

The group of toons dispersed, each walking off to get on a machine so they could proceed to the next floor.

"Hm, alright. Perhaps we should go and join the search, hm?" Teagen spoke up, making you blink and look over, her gentle voice drawing your attention back in since you'd spaced out.

"Oh- yeah! Oh, look- tape!" You chirped, Teagen obviously looking over to where you had pointed animatedly.

Just as she had begun to walk over, you had darted into action, skipping on over and snatching the tape up. You spun it on your fingertip, smiling at yet another tape collected.

"Another tape for the pile," you remarked with a proud smile, expression falling as you noticed Teagen's awkward frown.

The expression was so out of character for her that your smile fell immediately, a frown of confusion downturning your lips as she  walked over with slow steps.

"Uh- dear, what're you doing?" She asked, a gloved hand pointing to your hands where the tape was once grasped.

"Uh- grabbing tapes?" You answered back, your tone questioning just as hers had been. Teagen shrugged slightly, sighing lightly at how oblivious you sounded.

"Yes, but why?"

"Because we need them to buy from Dandy?" You answered, a brow raised in confusion. The reason was obvious to you, the questions seemed strange since you were sure she would know why you'd been collecting the strange form of currency.

Teagen's eyes fluttered shut, releasing a sigh in a lighthearted exasperated manner as she stepped closer and placed a hand on your shoulder, eyes opening and looking into your own,

"Dear, are you familiar with Sprout? How he uses tapes to heal other toons such as ourselves?" She asked, head dipping slightly as she spoke. Receiving a nod from you in response she continued,

"Well, I self heal through the same means. I myself have to collect tapes inorder to heal myself, and typically that means tapes are saved for me during runs like this...a Dandy run." She explained gently, a soft smile forming on her colored lips as she watched a guilty expression take over your toony features.

Though there was a twinge of confusion to which she rose a brow, "And...a Dandy run is when we dont buy from Dandy in order to encouter his twisted." She explained further, chuckling as you groaned and put your hands over your face, Teagen caught a glance of your flushed cheeks before you concealed your face.

"Oh my handler, I am sosososo sorry Teagen.." You apologized through your embarrassment, Teagen's hand switched from your shoulder to your bsck, patting gently as she ushered you forward to go assist in completing the floor.

She shook her head, giving you a reassuring smile as you lowered your hands, a chuckle leaving her at your further rosy cheeks (since most toons naturally have a little blush).

"Don't worry about it, you didn't know, after all. Lets just keep on, and maybe you could help me find tapes?"
