"You cannot just do that—"

"Whats the big deal, everyone was fine in the end right??" You replied insistently, motioning about to all the small, rainbow colored marshmallows strewn about on the colorful floor.

Your handler put her hands on her hips, lips tugged down in a frown. For some reason you could never see anything above the nose, an odd shadowing always prevented it.

But you could feel the exasperation and irritation in that stare.

"That does NOT matter and you know it. Challenging the kids to a "lets see who can shove the most marshmallows up your nose" Competition is not alright!" She scolded angrily, a hand pointing to the snot tainted little drops of sweetness once more.

You twiddled your thumbs together, looking down in shame as she continued to glare down on your short self. And after a moment of heated ailence passes you spit out some marshmallows, making your handler hiss out in disgust as a few hit her shoe.

"Argh—you little—"

"[Y/nnnn], come over—" you mimicked a voice, a hand cupped over your mouth,

"Oh wow, look at the time and someone needs me! Gotta run!" You gave your beloved handler a salute before darting off, a comical puff of dust replacing your figure as you were sudden disappeared.

The handlers jaw dropped before she shook a fist in the direction you ran, watching you fade off in the distance before turning a corner,

"This discussion isnt over, you hear?!" She yelled after you, hearing you mimick her words before completing leaving her presence.

You giggled as you stumbled into a new area. Looking around in awe, 'ooo'ing as you glanced around quickly. Hearing a strange knocking sound nearby, you turned your head, looking over curiously to the sandbox. Seeing a familiar toon knelt in the seemingly warm, golden sand, you clapped your hands together happily.

"Shelly!!" You gasped out in joy, running over quickly and jumping on her back. You wrapped your squirmy little arms around her neck, carefully holding on tight as you leaned your weight into her.

Her body rocked forwards, a startled shriek leaving her lips before she caught herself. Her hands were now planted within the warm sand, her wide eyes shutting as she sighed in relief,

"Gosh [Y/n], why do you always spook me like that??" She asked in exasperation, and despite her own words, a smile crept on her lips as she looked at you from over her shoulder.

You grinned back, removing your arms from around her and plopping down next to her in the sand.

You both then coughed, fanning away the poof of sand that followed.

As soon as the sand fell back into place, you smiled once more, tilting your head, "Well, gotta keep you on your toes, right? Plus, I know you like it," you said with a giggle, giving her tummy a few light pokes.

Shelly giggled at the little tickle from your pokes, playfully shooing your hands away. She gave a happy nod. She did love your company regardless of the little spooks you gave her. You were the only steady friendship in her life, after all.

"You're right. But oh—did you see the redesign of my room??" She excitedly asked, pointing a thumb towards the doorway leading to the more expansive part of her themed area.

You shook your head, making her shake in more excitement.

"Well, it did just get finished today—it'll be open for the children tomorrow! Let me give you a tour!" Shelly stood, offering out a hand you gladly took. She heaved you up and lead you away from the sandbox.

And for a good 15 minutes she showed you around her newly designed room. Shelly was definitely done more justice with this redesign, the room was more spacious and well—Shelly.

She led you along and showed you the things set up for the kids, buckets and shovels ready for them and the sand, to the crayons and paper set out on the tables, or the different bones behind fragile glass for their curious eyes to gaze apon.

But your favorite thing? Had to be the giant, tall—and in your eyes—glowing T-rex fossil standing proudly before you.

You stared up in awe, literal stars surrounding you. Shelly looked over with a charmed smile, seeing your aura practically glow, and your eyes sparkle brighter than any star Astro showed her.

You threw your arms up, "its BEAUTIFUL!" you exclaimed, words echoing throughout the empty room and bouncing off the walls. Shelly looked around in confusion hearing the echo, squinting in confusion.

"There's an echo??—"

She shurrged and turned back to you, smiling and opening her mouth to speak. Seeing the previously occupied space now empty, however, she paused. An outline of your figure blinked in and out of existence, a stupid little blinky sound with it just emphasizing your disappearance comically.

You were so animated. More than any other toons, and you all were literal cartoons!

"Yoo-hoo! Up here, pretty lady!!"

Shelly tensed, hearing your familiar voice from above. She immediately snapped her head up so fast you could imagine the sound of a crack.

And just as she had hoped not to see, there you were. On top of the T-rex, sitting on its spine like one would sit on a horse ready to ride. Shelly's jaw dropped, pupils shrinking as she saw you twiddle your fingers at her ina teasing wave.

The compliment flew over her head but you could make up for it later, you thought to yourself with a small laugh.

"OH MY HANDLER!" Shelly shrieked, grabbed her head as she stared up at you wide eyed. If she had hair, you could image her pulling on it out of shock.

"GET DOWN FROM THERE??" She yelled up. The concern, and fear in her voice making You cackle out loud. You smugly pat the T-rexs' spine, a mock-mitten hand caressing the false bone.

"What?? Im not a fatty like Dandy, ill be fine!" You proclaimed with a huff, hands on your hips as you turned your nose up in the air. Suddenly, the bones trembled beneath you, the small tremor didn't fly over your head, eyes snapping open as you froze.

"Huhh..." You said aloud, Shelly hands flying over her mouth as she stared up.

"Yknow, maybe it was the burrito I ate earlier." You pondered, tapping your chin.

"[Y/N] GET DOWN!" Shelly yelled once more, flailing her little arms about as she tried once more. But as she yelled the bones collapsed, causing her to yelp and take some steps back as they fall over their lit exhibit.

Shelly looked over the fallen beauty of the fossil, expecting to see you harmed in the rubble. But thankfully, yet strangely not, her body relaxed in confusion,

"Huh.." she looked up, seeing you in the same sitting position.

Your hands did a motion, patting the invisible presence where the T-rex once was.

"Yep...that'll do it." You said before shrieking and falling. Your spun in the air like a falling starfish before landing and rolling off the t-rex bones. You stopped your roll and stood to your feet besides Shelly, who merely looked at you in shock as you cupped your chin and winced at the sight before you.

Yeah, you totally wrecked her T-rex fossil.

You snapped your fingers, "I'll fix this in a jiffy. But!" You exclaimed, falling to your knee infront of her.

Shelly looked down at you in confusion, on one knee and smiling charmingly.

You suddenly pulled a rose out of thin air, offering it up to your oddly-resembling-a-cinnamon-roll friend,

"For you, my beautiful madame."

"Oh, wow..." she said in awe, the beautiful, soft looking red petals pulled her in. The light pleasantly fell over the romantic flower, making her smile as she took it with a soft blush on her cheeks.

She flusteredly giggled, a hand on her cheek feeling the warmth that formed,

"Gee, thank you [Y/n]..."

You gave a wink, a small star flying and adding onto the stupid, cartoonish charm of you.

"Youre welcome, now let me fix up that T-rex!!"

Im gonna try to make chapters longer, I forgot about the ads..I dont have to deal with them cause I have to read offline cause I dont got wifi so that's my bad 😞
