BA-DUM!
BA-DUM!
BA-DUM!
Each beat felt heavier than the last as the new genes finished combining into his very self, rapidly evolving Riven into a completely new form and awakening some ancient genes within him.
"?!"
For a brief moment he felt his heart beating faster and faster, his skin became red and sleek, slimy like a frog’s skin across a few parts of his body, then it became pure white, his vampiric traits flaring and then disappearing constantly.
The shifts happened so quickly that he barely had time to track each one before the next began.
His muscles became leaner and slimmer, and he gained thin membranes along his hands and feet, which then disappeared, as he felt the power of the genes settle within him, sharp, long black claws grew from his nails, resembling those of vampires, again.
He flexed his fingers once and the claws retracted on their own a second later.
Afterward, his spiritual energy and spiritual art power skyrocketed quickly as the changes took hold, coupled with his ki, which grew massively along with blood energy quantity.
The sudden jump in energy made him steady his stance so he would not lose balance.
Then those features all vanished in the next moment as if they had never been there, only to be replaced by a slightly alien appearance, pale gray skin, long and slender, muscular builds, massively tall, with black-gray eyes and long silver hair, and long tentacle-like wings, before all of that also disappeared, and then massive blood vessels popped from his skin and pumped blood everywhere, before disappearing once again.
Each new form lasted only a few seconds before the next one overwrote it completely.
Then his silver hair turned red and long, and his appearance, for just a glimpse, shifted into someone else’s entirely, one of the Three Heavenly Kings!
But then, he returned back to normal in just a single breath, as if all had been merely an illusion.
The entire sequence ended as quickly as it had started and left no visible mark on his body.
Once everything settled down, Riven felt... strange.
"Just what was that?!" he thought. "I became someone else?!"
He checked his hands and arms one more time to confirm everything had truly returned to normal.
Ding!
[You have absorbed all available Genes into your Physique.]
[You have absorbed all Genes and manifested two Traits.]
[You learned the Trait Mutation: [Vampire Prince Transformation (Super Rare Mutation)]
[You learned the Trait Mutation: [Sorrowful Heart’s Regrets (Super Rare Mutation)]
Two traits this time, and they sounded pretty strong. Riven quickly went and checked their little information adjacent to the notification.
He opened the detailed windows right away so he could understand what the new mutations actually did.
[You learned the Trait Mutation: [Vampire Prince Transformation (Super Rare Mutation)]: Grants the ability to take into the form of a Vampire Prince, delicate, slim, slender and beautiful, increasing All Stats by a small amount and increasing All Vampiric Skills and Talents power greatly.]
[You learned the Trait Mutation: [Sorrowful Heart’s Regrets (Super Rare Mutation)]: Your heart can now turn into the Sorrowful Heart, massively increasing the pump of blood and the production of blood energy and ki into your body.]
"Interesting. I feel like there’s something more to it though. Something that these genes don’t want to show me, but you cannot hide it from me, not from Greed, who wants and takes everything. Every single little secret you’re keeping will be revealed now," Riven spoke with an almost evil and malicious tone of voice, his genes rapidly being infused with the power of the Authority of Greed and then... further mutating beyond their limits!
He focused the Authority directly on the two new mutations and refused to let them stay at their current level.
Ding!
[x10,000 Multiplier Authority Activated!]
[All Trait Mutations have been multiplied x10,000!]
As the power of Greed was triggered, Riven’s heart began beating even faster than before, both Genes beginning to evolve further, their mutations revealing their true power and ancestry and... above all, something else.
The system windows stayed open while the changes continued underneath them.
BA-DUM!
His body began pulsing even more violently. The heartbeat echoed in his ears like war drums that never ceased for a single moment, he clenched his teeth as his aura continued surging with steam drifting everywhere, these genetic mutations put his body into such strain that it was rapidly feeling it was all about to explode, but it constantly regenerated the internal damage.
Each beat forced more energy through his veins and made the regeneration work harder to keep up.
BA-DUM!
His arms and legs stretched unnaturally for a moment. His entire frame expanded as he became more alien-like and also vampire-like, resembling a strange, hybrid version between the two, but what could this actually mean? Riven had little time or the power to question this as the transformation continued.
The shift in proportions made standing upright harder for a few seconds, yet the process showed no sign of stopping.
BA-DUM!
His clothes were mildly torn apart as he suddenly grew massively taller and became monstrously muscular out of nowhere. Glistening red hair grew from his head as his black hair seemed nowhere to be seen, his pale skin gained glowing red runes, and he suddenly seemed to age considerably, resembling a man on his late thirties out of nowhere.
The sudden growth forced him to shift his stance just to keep his balance while the changes finished settling.
At the same time a glowing halo of pure blood energy and blood ki manifested behind him for a brief moment, casting soft radiance across the surrounding wasteland. Divine power condensed within these two powers, as Riven felt... he felt...
"Wait, what’s going?!"
This was the first time this ever happened, but it seemed that both genes, both mutations were compatible, fusing into a singular one.
He had expected them to stay separate, yet the system showed them combining without any extra input from him.
