Chapter 12: Discovery
Chapter 12: Discovery
Once I was back upstairs, I walked past the kitchen and spotted Scott putting together the high chair. The high chair. My stomach sank straight through the floor. The nightmare wasn't even close to over — apparently humiliation came in installments now.
Jenny was busy preparing dinner. Josie was watching TV, and Sabrina was playing a game on the family laptop. She looked up when she heard me walk by. Her lips curled into that mischievous smirk she was basically famous for.
"Did Jakie have any more accidents today?" she chimed, sugary and cruel.
My blood boiled — I was this close to snapping — but Jenny cut in calmly, almost absently:
"Sabrina, that's enough. But that reminds me... Jake, come here real quick."
My whole body tensed. She walked over, turned me around, lifted my shirt, and hooked her finger in the back waistband of my diaper. The cool air hit my skin and I froze.
"Just need to do a check," she murmured. She peered inside, totally unfazed. "You're all good."
Sabrina giggled and spun back around to her laptop like she'd just gotten a reward for doing nothing.
I stood there, cheeks blazing red.
"You can go play," Jenny said, turning back to the stove. "After Scott's done with your high chair, we've got some rules to go over with you."
Rules. More rules. Fantastic.
Sabrina, hearing that, practically squealed:
"HIS high chair?"
She clearly hadn't noticed Scott assembling it. Her grin stretched ear to ear. She looked like she'd just watched Santa walk in carrying a PS5.
I moved to the living room and sat with Josie. I tried to relax, but the need to pee had been building since the Just Dance disaster, and now it was urgent. I sighed and got up, walking into the kitchen.
"Hey, Jenny... I gotta go pee. Can I take this diaper off now?"
I tried to sound casual — adult-like — hoping she'd finally recognize I could use a bathroom without destroying the universe.
She didn't even look up.
"Just use your diaper, bud."
Then she added, "We're printing off some rules for everyone in the house. We'll go over them after dinner."
In my diaper.
And she said "your diaper."
Like it was... mine. My possession. My normal.
And everyone would know the rules?
My chest tightened. What the hell was happening to my life?
She shooed me out, so I went back to the living room and tried to hold it — really tried — but it got too strong. The moment I relaxed even a little, warmth rushed out of me in a heavy, unstoppable stream. The diaper ballooned, swelling between my legs.
I shifted uncomfortably, trying to ignore the squishy, spreading heat. Jenny called out that dinner would be ready soon and asked me to help Josie pick up her toys before we ate. She shut off the TV. Katie and Brianna came upstairs then, waiting for dinner just like Jenny had said.
I bent down to pick up a toy car and—
A sharp gasp sliced the air behind me.
I froze.
Slowly, Brianna's voice — soft, confused, then disbelieving — drifted toward me.
"Jake... are... are you wearing a diaper?"
My heart stopped. My blood ran cold. I straightened up so fast I stumbled, yanking my shirt down, but it was too late. There was no hiding it — the swollen outline, the thick bulge, the tapes pressing through the fabric.
Brianna stepped closer, eyes big, blinking hard like she couldn't trust them.
And then her expression melted into this mixture of shock and barely-contained giggles.
She leaned a tiny bit to the side to get another look.
"Oh. My. God..."
Her voice cracked with amusement.
"...Katie wasn't lying. You really are wearing a diaper."
Her hand flew to her mouth, but the giggle still slipped out — this adorable, stunned little laugh she couldn't hold back.
She even crouched slightly, like she was trying to peek discreetly at my hips again.
"Wait— is it... is it wet?" she whispered, genuinely fascinated.
My cheeks burned so hot they practically buzzed. I turned away, but she was already giggling, her shoulders bouncing as she tried to contain herself.
But Sabrina?
Of course Sabrina didn't hold anything in.
She burst into song:
"Jakie's wearing a diaper! Jakie's wearing a diaper!"
Josie, young and impressionable, joined in immediately, chanting along.
Brianna wasn't chanting — she was laughing. Not cruelly, exactly, but shocked and helplessly entertained. When I tried to walk away, the bulk between my legs forced me into a stiff, awkward waddle — and that finally sent her over the edge. She laughed hard.
I bolted to my room.
A moment later, Jenny called out:
"Girls, that's enough! I don't want to hear any teasing. Everyone come sit down for dinner. Jake, come on back out — it's time to eat."
Tears ran down my cheeks. I couldn't face them. I couldn't face anyone.
Jenny came back to my room, her voice firm but warm. She told me the teasing had stopped and dinner was ready.
Then she remembered I had to pee earlier.
"Did you wet?" she asked gently.
I shook my head.
I just... couldn't take more embarrassment.
She walked over, patted my butt, felt the swollen heaviness, and sighed knowingly.
"Alright. Let's get you changed before dinner."
She asked where the supplies were. I pointed under the bed.
She grabbed a fresh diaper, wipes, cream, powder, everything — and told me to lie down.
My pants came off completely. The tapes ripped open. The cold air hit me again. She lifted my ankles together, raised my hips with practiced ease, and slid a fresh diaper underneath me. The routine was so familiar now it hurt.
She lifted my hips with one hand so she could slide the fresh diaper underneath me. Powder came next, then cream, then she pulled the thick padding snugly up and over my waist and secured the tapes.
"There we go," she said, helping me sit up. "All set."
I reached for my pants, but she shook her head.
"You won't be wearing pants for dinner, sweetheart. It helps me see when you need changing."
My heart stopped.
"What?! No way—everyone's gonna see!"
"Everyone already knows," she said gently. "And you just lied to me about being wet. This makes things easier for both of us."
"No, please—please, Jenny, I'll tell you next time, I swear—"
"We'll try again later. But right now, dinner is getting cold. Come on."
When I reached the kitchen, I could feel all the eyes on me.
Every kid's jaw dropped.
Silence.
Total, stunned silence.
Then—
Giggles.
Whispers.
"Oh my god look at him..."
"He looks like an actual toddler..."
"Aww, he's kinda cute..."
Jenny snapped:
"Girls. I said enough."
They clammed up, but their smiles didn't go anywhere.
Then — the worst part — Jenny lifted me into the high chair.
In front of everyone.
Strapped me in with the crotch buckle pushing the diaper up even more.
Attached the tray.
Placed a plate of food in front of me.
And a sippy cup.
I stared at my plate. No appetite, no pride, no escape.
The others ate quietly. Jenny tried making conversation. Scott helped. The kids barely responded.
The atmosphere was thick with awkwardness.
Then Jenny cleared her throat.
"After dinner," she announced, "we're having a family meeting. We have some things we need to discuss."
And everyone knew exactly what that meant.
