Volume 3, Chapter 0. – Prologue (Part 1)
Within a sealed space, A man in a suit with an elegant demeanor sat silently on a sofa, hovering in this quiet space. Surrounding the man were projection screens of one figure after another.
An important and serious meeting was taking place.
As a bald man finished his report, a rare expression of gravity appeared on the handsome face of the purple-haired man.
“Conspiring with the Terran Malevolence’s vassals, attempting to sacrifice an entire family to help himself break through to the Divine Departure Realm?”
“Yes, that’s the official result released by the Covenant.”
“Who killed Coburn?”
“The one who delivered the final blow was the Covenant’s Fourth Celestial Augur Knight, Westantine.”
“Hmm…”
Resting his hand against his chin, Duan began to contemplate.
“House Anloxi has always been a fence-sitter.”
While Duan remained silent, one of the participants—a noblewoman stroking a giant wolf—spoke with disdain.
“After we’ve ignored them all these years, those people might truly have been tempted by the Vassals of Earth. Conspiring with the Abyssal Lord’s vassals, luring Brak over. After Brak was eliminated by the Vassals of Earth, House Anloxi, having lost its value, was naturally abandoned by the Vassals of Earth as well. Hmph, they deserve it.”
“But would the people of House Anloxi really be so bold?” a young boy who looked quite childish chimed in.
“Coburn was just a coward. If not for that, we wouldn’t have chosen him to nurture the Divine-Graced Maiden back then. Such a person wouldn’t dare betray us.”
“That’s uncertain. The Vassals of Earth excel at manipulating hearts. Haven’t they placed numerous pawns in the human world through the Salvation Game over the years?”
“The problem is…”
“Enough.”
After some time, seeing his subordinates still debating this issue, Duan spoke with displeasure:
“House Anloxi is gone. Whether they betrayed us or not isn’t what we should be concerned about now. What I want to know is how the Vassals of Earth secretly destroyed House Anloxi and Brak. Why wasn’t a battle of that level detected by anyone? And also… where exactly has Moande gone?”

“We will investigate this as quickly as possible, Fifth Ancestor.”
Faced with Duan’s displeasure, the bald man lowered his head in fear.
“Additionally, Brak is dead. Although he was marked with the death curse and theoretically couldn’t leak anything, we still need to be vigilant. Raise the alert level to A3.”
“Yes, Lord Duan.”
“Lord Duan, the Covenant branch’s experts were almost all sent by Moande to deal with Xi Xuan, and then they were wiped out. As a result, now the Covenant…”
“I’ll arrange for replacements; you needn’t worry about that. By the way, keep a close eye on that Fourth Celestial Augur Knight of the Covenant. That fellow very likely has connections with the Vassals of Earth. Watch him closely, and we might be able to find the force that’s been opposing us from the shadows.”
“Yes. By the way, Lord Duan, what about Lianna’s daughters? How should they be handled?”
“With Xi Xuan around, it won’t be easy to move against them. Most of our energy is currently focused on the Kingdom of Qingyun and the Vassals of Sea, so it’s indeed difficult to divert manpower.”
“So what do we do? Leave them alone?”
“Heh.”
Casting a cold glance at the noblewoman who spoke, Duan gave a chilling laugh.
“How could we possibly leave them alone? What belongs to us must be reclaimed. Xi Xuan? Once the ‘bomb’ in the Kingdom of Qingyun detonates, he won’t have the energy to protect those little girls anymore.”
An hour flew by, The temporary meeting concerning the Westivian Covenant thus concluded.
After all the projection devices were turned off, Duan placed his hands behind his back and, surrounded by a burst of purple light, suddenly vanished from his spot.
When Duan reappeared, he had arrived in a space protected by multiple layers of barriers. Opening the large door, Duan entered one of the most core areas of this blood domain.
After stepping into the room, Duan maintained his serious expression as he walked step by step toward the large bed in the center of the room, silently observing the youth lying on it.
The youth on the bed, with eyes tightly closed and body emanating a powerful Augury Force aura, was the new generation savior that Duan had just selected through the summoning ritual.
The existence he now cared about most.
However, The condition of this critically important youth did not seem promising at the moment.

The unconscious youth’s body was burning with heat, sweat continuously seeping from within, his face appearing particularly contorted, as if enduring immense suffering.
At the same time, Duan could clearly sense the life force within the youth continuously diminishing.
Seeing this situation, the purple-haired man’s previously composed demeanor instantly vanished, his brows tightly knitting together.
“Xing Wu, what’s going on?”
Directing his gaze toward the black-haired girl sitting beside the youth, the displeasure and coldness in his tone were unmistakable.
However, Faced with the dissatisfaction in Duan’s tone, the girl named “Xing Wu” still maintained an apathetic face, her eyes still hollow and vacant. Like an emotionless machine, she seemed unaware of the suddenly dropping temperature around her.
The girl simply gave a calm reply.
“I don’t know.”
Faced with this answer, Duan’s expression grew increasingly grim. But he didn’t continue questioning Xing Wu, instead turning his attention to the other side of the room, toward the busy medical staff and experimental personnel.
“What’s happening?”
Compared to Xing Wu’s calmness, these people appeared extremely uneasy when facing Duan’s cold questioning. The elderly man in a white coat who led them even knelt down in terror.
“Lord Duan! The Augury Force within this new savior is too vast… much stronger than we anticipated. It’s causing an overheating reaction in the spiritual particles…”
“Are you saying that the savior I worked so hard to successfully summon might soon be burned to death by his own Augury Force?”
“If the Augury Force isn’t drained soon, that will indeed be the case.”
Hearing this, a chilling light gradually seeped from Duan’s eyes, piercing through the elderly man before him like a blade, making his entire soul feel the pressure of being about to be torn apart.
“Dr. Weiss, you and your team have been researching for over fifty years. You repeatedly assured me that everything would go perfectly. But now, relying on your equipment and Xing Wu’s power, you cannot complete the drainage?”
“S-sorry, Lord Duan!”
Weiss hurriedly kowtowed repeatedly.
While terrified, the doctor was also puzzled. According to their previous test results and calculations, such a problem shouldn’t have occurred.

Yet it did!
What could be wrong?
However, Weiss knew that now was not the time for explanations.
Most importantly, he needed to propose a solution.
Otherwise, if such an important test subject died like this, their entire team would likely be finished as well.
They Did not want to become food…
Taking a deep breath, Weiss hurriedly proposed his solution.
“Nevertheless, there is a way. We can send the savior to the Sacred Spring… The spring water there can help absorb the continuously overflowing Augury Force from within the savior. With Miss Xing Wu’s and our assistance, we will definitely be able to stabilize him.”
“The Sacred Spring at the border of the Westivian Covenant…”
“Yes.”
“Hmm…”
Staring at the terrified Weiss, Duan sank into contemplation. While thinking, the purple-haired man’s gaze involuntarily glanced toward the black-haired girl nearby.
After taking in Xing Wu’s face, which showed no emotional fluctuation whatsoever, Duan narrowed his eyes thoughtfully.
After a moment of silence, Duan turned to look at the girl who had always obeyed his commands, and spoke in a gentle voice:
“Xing Wu, I’ll trouble you to take the savior to the Sacred Spring.”
“Understood, Father.”
The girl once again replied in that emotionless voice.
“Very good.”
After giving instructions to Dr. Weiss and the others, along with stern warnings, Duan placed his hands behind his back and left the room with a gloomy face.

Just after leaving the room, Duan seemed to still have some doubts, thoughtfully glancing sideways at the expressionless black-haired purple-eyed girl.
“Send the Blood Guard to follow them. Don’t let anything go wrong.”
Duan said calmly.
As the words left his mouth, Duan’s shadow twisted and finally split off into a dark figure, rapidly slipping away into the distance.
Meanwhile, After Duan’s presence disappeared and the medical staff temporarily left, the youth who had been gasping for breath just a moment ago gradually began to calm down, the expression on his face no longer as agonizingly painful as before.
More importantly, this youth, who in everyone’s eyes couldn’t possibly wake up so quickly, now secretly opened his left eye slightly. And stealthily glanced at the expressionless girl beside him.
At the same time, The excessive Augury Force on his body silently drifted toward the expressionless girl.
Then, the youth secretly spoke in a language that almost no one in this world knew.
—”Grandma Xing Wu, was that person just now…?”
As these words reached her ears, the constantly emotionless eyes of the expressionless girl actually regained their light at this moment, and she softly replied in the same language as the youth:
“Yes, that’s the bastard, loser, lunatic, vampire, narcissist, son-of-a-bitch undead I told you about earlier…”
The girl continued to utter various crude words in a calm, melodious voice.
After cursing someone for a few sentences, Xing Wu turned her cold gaze toward the youth on the bed, particularly at his lower body:
“Dare to call me grandma again, and I’ll castrate you. Believe it or not.”
“Ah? I didn’t say anything!”
Hearing this, the youth closed his eyes without another word, continuing to feign unconsciousness.
In response, Xing Wu simply gave him a brief glare before thoughtfully looking toward the doorway—the direction Duan had left earlier.
After pretending for so long, This time, Could they finally leave this place…
