Volume 6, Chapter 51 – New Body! Major Problem!
Purple-black blood still lingered in the air above. The two halves of Bazor’s bisected body drifted slowly downward. Xing Wu had already withdrawn her scythe, a faint violet halo drifting around her fingertips. She looked down, taking stock of her brand-new body. Silver-white hair cascaded over her shoulders, the violet sheen at the tips complementing the striking battle dress beautifully.
“Wow~”
The silver-haired young woman raised her hand and spun in a slow circle. The battle dress swept a graceful arc with the motion. The clean fragrance of Augury Force still lingered in the air around her.
“This body feels absolutely perfect! So much better than that puppet body from House Solrog earlier~”
What else could you expect from something the annoying old Mom grew~
Sure, she’d had to drink from both annoying old Mom and the bad woman’s milk to get into this form……. but—
Not a problem anymore~
The more she looked, the more satisfied she was. She raised her hand and conjured a clear energy mirror, its surface reflecting her figure — long, slender limbs, a perfectly proportioned waist, gleaming silver hair, every detail hitting exactly right.
Xing Wu blinked at her reflection and threw up a playful peace sign, the smile on her face stretching wide.
But when her gaze drifted — quite by accident — to her chest, the smile in the mirror froze in an instant. The delight in those purple eyes visibly drained away, replaced by sheer, disbelieving bewilderment.
She instinctively dismissed the breastplate she’d condensed from Augury Force,
reached up,
and felt around.
Feel feel feel~
Feel feel feel~
Xing Wu did not find the magnificent abundance she had been hoping for.

How to put this?
The sensation was……
Flat. Utterly, completely flat. Not even a hint of anything…….
Forget comparing herself to annoying old Mom’s magnificent peaks — she didn’t even match her own body from her human days…….
For a moment,
the air seemed to go still. Time itself seemed to stop.
The next second, an anguished wail tore through the sky, nearly drowning out the distant sounds still echoing from Clavino’s city districts:
“AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!”
Xing Wu’s face went dark as the bottom of a cooking pot. The purple of her eyes shimmered with aggrieved tears. Both hands clawed frantically at her silver hair, her voice collapsing into complete breakdown:
“WHY?! Everything else is so perfect, so why is THIS part so flat!! Annoying old MOM!!!! You’re such an idiot AAAAAAAAAH!!! What I said back then about not wanting it — that was obviously said in anger!! Stupid Mom!!! Stupid stupid biggest idiot in the world!! Waaaaaah……”
She wailed and stamped her feet at the empty air. The cool, imposing aura she’d carried moments ago crumbled completely — she was the picture of an aggrieved girl throwing a breakdown over her figure.
After all — this was the body that Bai Lianyue had painstakingly crafted and carried for her. She had harbored every expectation of owning a perfect figure, of making up for old regrets.
And she had face-planted in the one place that mattered most…….
She’d at least been a small steamed bun before.
And now?!

“How did this HAPPEN waaaaaah!!”
Down in the rubble pile, Renoval had only just recovered from his shock when this sudden wailing hit him like a sledgehammer to the eardrums. He steadied his cracked glasses, dark green eyes full of bafflement and exasperation:
Of all the times for this.
She’s wailing over something like that?
Truly Master’s daughter……. missing the same screw.
Not that complaining about it changed anything.
In this moment, Renoval also finally understood why Master had simply left for Wishaven. She had apparently decided to leave everything here in Xing Wu’s hands.
And this girl — she had one-shotted Bazor just now. Her strength was genuinely not to be taken lightly.
But……
Just her alone?
“Master……. you really think that little of me?”
Renoval bit down on his lip, cold and sharp. The dark green curse power around him erupted. He raised his hand and slashed it toward the sealed black barrier above.
—— “Release!” ——
With the word, the barrier walls — which had already repaired and closed — suddenly shuddered violently. The dark crimson patterns rapidly faded. The entire barrier shattered like glass, breaking apart into countless black sparks that dissolved into the air.

Inside the barrier, the six black-robed figures and Xi Xuan, temporarily immobilized, were freed in an instant. Simultaneously, a mass of black mist rose from the ground, condensing into the form of a seventh black-robed figure — Moande, who had earlier been detonated by Xing Wu, his body regenerated once more under the nourishment of the barrier’s energy.
Eight Peak Divine Departure Realm powerhouses spread into a ring formation. The black auras and spiritual power intertwining around each of them wove into an airtight encirclement, locking Xing Wu firmly at its center.
Without a moment’s hesitation, they each condensed their spiritual power weapons — radiating a suffocating, crushing pressure.
“Aunties and uncles……”
Feeling the pressure bearing down from every direction, Xing Wu’s wailing cut off abruptly. She slowly raised her head. Those purple eyes swept across the surrounding black figures with an idle calm.
Then her gaze locked onto Renoval below.
Locked onto this person who wanted to take her Mom away.
“Release the control over the aunties and uncles. Otherwise……. I’m going to beat you to death.”
“Quite a confident little girl, aren’t you. Heh heh.”
Renoval curled his lips into a cold smile.
And beneath that cold smile, a dense wave of loathing and chill seeped through.
For Bai Xingwu — this woman who occupied an important place in Master’s heart, this daughter Master had kept talking about for a thousand years — Renoval’s hatred had long since reached its absolute limit.
As long as she was still here……. Master could never belong to him alone.
“What an insufferable creature.”
He whispered it with a killing intent that cut like a blade, then raised his hand and waved it toward the rubble below. Following his gaze, Xing Wu looked down — just in time to see the two severed halves of Bazor’s body begin to stir. Purple-black curse power surged forward like a tide, enveloping the shattered wound.

“AAAHH——!”
The two halves snapped back together in midair. Purple-black curse power churned wildly. Bazor’s body began undergoing a terrifying transformation: the muscles of his upper half ballooned grotesquely, his scale armor shredded to pieces under the strain, revealing skin bristling with dark purple bone spines. Two sharp bony ridges jutted from his shoulders. His arms became massive, crushing claws, fingertips gleaming with pale blue cold-light. His lower body shed its human legs entirely, replaced by eight enormous octopus tentacles — their surfaces covered in suckers and dense reverse barbs, trailing wisps of black corruption at their ends. His skull twisted and warped, the firm features of his former face splitting apart to reveal rows of razor-sharp fangs. His eyes became two crimson blood spheres. Dense purple-black curse power coiled around his entire form — a monster crawled up from the deepest hell of the ocean.
“ROARR——!”
The transformed Bazor let out an inhuman bellow. His eight tentacles slammed into the ground, hurling clouds of dust and debris skyward. His aura was several times more fearsome than before. The wild, raging curse power locked onto Xing Wu with absolute intensity.
Eight First Celestial Augur Knights encircling her. The transformed Bazor looming with predatory intent. Renoval holding position to anchor the force. The crushing pressure bearing down from the sky above maxed out in an instant — as though the next second would see Xing Wu swallowed whole.
But Xing Wu wasn’t frightened in the slightest.
She simply arched an eyebrow.
“Not bad, I’ll give you that. Worthy of being the Vassals of Sea’s second-in-command……. not as easy to kill as I thought.”
The silver-haired young woman slowly dismissed the energy mirror. A flicker of excitement crossed those purple eyes. The corners of her mouth pulled into a playful smirk. The breakdown she’d just had over her figure had fully converted itself into fury and motivation — buried now behind her pupils, waiting.
She rolled her wrist. Violet Augury Force gathered in her palm once more. The scythe reappeared in her hand in an instant, its blade glinting with cold brilliance. Xing Wu narrowed her eyes, sweeping her gaze across the eight black-robed figures and then settling on the transformed Bazor, her tone as breezy as someone remarking on the weather:
“Perfect timing, actually. Brand new body, and I don’t even know yet how it handles.”
“You lot showing up like this — as physical therapy, you’re really quite ideal~”
—— “And while we’re at it — help this lady blow off a little steam, would you.” ——
