Chapter 1293

"Continue to send troops to investigate the situation in the Sixth Realm. Don't be careless. This might be a plot by the enemy.

"Also, prepare a spaceship. It's time for me to head to the Sixth Realm."

Gu Chen said after some consideration.

Wu Li immediately acted according to the order. An hour later, the spaceship was ready.

Before Gu Chen left, Fang Shijie came to bid farewell.

"The 82th Realm has been conquered. It's time for me to leave. If Lord Gu has any other orders, the Fang Clan will do our best to cooperate."

Fang Shijie said with a smile. His face was harmless, and it was as if he was going to leave after the matter was settled, hiding his achievements and fame.

Gu Chen was surprised that Fang Shijie would leave. He had expected that the Fang Clan would do him harm and thought that Fang Shijie would request to continue following the army.

However, it was normal for Fang Shijie to leave. The Fang Clan was on the frontlines when the 82th Realm was conquered. They naturally had the obligation to help.

However, now that the war had advanced to the Sixth Realm, the Fang Clan did not need to send troops unless Dao Lord Xing requested it.

"Thank you, Young Master Fang. I will report the Fang Clan's contributions in suppressing the rebellion in the Seven Realms."

Gu Chen said politely.

"Then I'll leave now. Lord Gu, remember to visit the Fang Clan again when you have the time."

Fang Shijie then left. Gu Chen looked at his back with a pensive look in his eyes.

"Is there a problem with the divination?"

Fang Shijie had not posed any threat to Gu Chen. Instead, he had contributed greatly to the conquest of the 82th Realm. Then, he had left calmly. This made Gu Chen even more confused about the Fang Clan's intentions.

Gu Chen boarded the spaceship and headed straight for the Sixth Realm!

…

"Lord Gu, according to our investigation of the various territories in the Sixth Realm, as well as the interrogation of the captured soldiers, we can conclude that Empress Medusa retreated from the Sixth Realm with her army on the day the Five Elements Emperor's army was defeated. She should have joined forces with the Nine Nether Emperor's army."

"We've also sent troops to take over Planet Hydra, where the Medusas have lived for generations. We haven't found any traces of the Medusas."

On the battleship heading for the Nine-Headed Snake Planet, Gu Chen's frown deepened as he listened to Hu Helie's report.

A few days ago, when he heard that Empress Medusa fled without a fight, he only thought that it was a trick of the other party. After all, Empress Medusa was famous for her tricks.

However, as the intelligence from the frontlines continued to come in, Medusa's escape was confirmed.

Planet Hydra was the mother planet of the Medusa Race, and it was also the center of power of the Sixth Realm. If it wasn't for escaping, it was hard to imagine why Empress Medusa would abandon this place.

"Have you found out why Medusa escaped?" Gu Chen asked in a low voice.

"We caught a general under Medusa's banner. According to him, although the seven realm emperors have formed an alliance, due to some issues, the alliance army has yet to be established."

"Originally, the Seven Realm Emperors believed that the 82th Realm's Five Elemental Reincarnation Great Array would be able to obstruct our army for a long time. During this period of time, they would be able to prepare leisurely."

"I didn't expect that we would conquer the 82th Realm in such a short time. Empress Medusa decided to retreat to the Nine Underworld Emperor's territory because she wasn't prepared. With the Nine Underworld Emperor's army, their chances of victory would be much higher."

Hu Helie explained.

"The Five Elemental Reincarnation Great Array is indeed very troublesome. Without the Fang Clan's help, it would be very difficult to conquer it in a short time. It's normal that Medusa didn't expect this."

"For her to be able to sacrifice her own world so decisively, she's not a simple person."

Gu Chen pondered. This analysis sounded reasonable, but he still felt that something was wrong.

"Since Medusa's army has retreated, where did you catch her subordinates?" Gu Chen asked in detail.

"The Sixth Realm is rich in rare ores. Even Empress Medusa couldn't bear to give them all up. Thus, before the army retreated, she asked a few generals to stay behind, wanting to take away all the ores."

"It's a pity that they didn't expect our army to arrive so quickly. We caught them on the spot, and the remaining ores became ours."

Hu Helie smiled. It was obvious that the ores were extremely valuable.

"So that's how it is."

Gu Chen nodded. Everything seemed reasonable. It seemed that the Sixth Realm had really been conquered effortlessly.

"Commander Gu, the Fire Punishment Corps has completely taken over Planet Hydra. This planet itself is a huge ores, and it is rich in Dragon Scale Phoenix Blood Crystals, which are extremely valuable.

"Lord Kong Sheng from the Ministry of Works sent news not long ago. He knows that we have conquered the Sixth Realm and hopes that we can spare a day to help collect enough Dragon Scale Phoenix Blood Crystals. He will then send people to transport them away."

Hu Helie mentioned something else.

"Dragon Scale Phoenix Blood Crystals?" Gu Chen raised his eyebrows. He had never heard of such an item.

"I heard that Lord Kong previously had a new weapon that required a large amount of Dragon Scale Phoenix Blood Crystals. However, the production of Dragon Scale Phoenix Blood Crystals is very low, and most of them are unique to Planet Hydra.

"Lord Kong once talked to Empress Medusa about this. However, the Dragon Scale Phoenix Blood Crystals are of great significance to the Medusa race. It is said that it is related to the reproduction of the race for generations. Thus, Empress Medusa was only willing to give him a little.

"Later on, Lord Kong's research was put on hold. Now that the Medusa army has been defeated, Lord Kong must want to restart this research. Lord Gu, this is an opportunity to build a good relationship with Lord Kong. "

After hearing the ins and outs of the matter, Wu Li happily reminded Gu Chen.

The Ministry of Works controlled almost all the killing weapons in Xing Commandery. As the new General of Tian Fa, if Gu Chen could use this opportunity to build a good relationship with Kong Sheng, it would be very beneficial for him.

Since Gu Chen was doing well, Wu Li would naturally have more opportunities to be promoted.

"Since Dao Friend Kong needs it, then let's do as he says."

They had just conquered the Sixth Realm, and the situation was still unclear. Gu Chen was not in a hurry to push forward. He was happy to do Kong Sheng a favor.

While they were talking, the battleship arrived at Planet Hydra. Although Medusa had already confirmed that she had escaped, Gu Chen still wanted to see it with his own eyes to ensure that nothing went wrong.

Planet Hydra was different from what Gu Chen had imagined. It was actually an abnormally desolate planet.

The planet was covered with deserts and the Gobi Desert. The living conditions were so harsh that humans could not bear it.

However, this kind of environment was a paradise for the Medusa race. They reproduced here for generations, and with this place as their starting point, they finally conquered the entire Sixth Realm.

When Gu Chen landed on Planet Hydra, the soldiers of the Fire Punishment Corps had already settled in ahead of time. They were currently active in the various mines.

No matter how harsh the living conditions were, there were still valuable mines on this planet. It had to be said that the heavens were fair.

Accompanied by Wu Li, Gu Chen arrived at Empress Medusa's palace. This palace stood in the middle of the desert, looking strange and sinister.
