New Post: A civic group announced they want the Owl of the Peeping Dead movie and anime canceled!
Those PC Bloodbags who were already coming out hard against OPD just made a formal announcement. If this picks up momentum, it’s going to end up censoring not just the manga but the movie as well.
These Bloodbags are wild. They’re claiming that the Headless Rider, the Night of the Ripper, and even the recent faked group kidnapping were all caused by the influence of anime, movies, and manga—especially OPD. The freakin’ Headless Rider has been in Ikebukuro for over twenty years!
So it’s finally come to this. That civic group is famous for being wackos, but they’ve got political connections, too. Let’s just hope this doesn’t lead to new restrictions on artistic expression.
The same group previously said that a yakuza movie based in Ikebukuro was “glorifying violent mob groups like the Awakusu-kai” and tried to sue to stop it from being sold. It’s like, which one of us is having trouble distinguishing reality from fiction?

In order to clear the air we breathe in Ikebukuro and take back the public health of our city, we must push for restrictions of certain items being sold in the anime shops and bookstores of Ikebukuro… The lawless individual they call the Headless Rider is clearly motivated by the influence of corrupting video games, and anyone can see that incidents like the street slasher are the effect of violent manga, anime, movies, and music… This WWW group has clearly made a deal with the devil. They are destroying Ikebukuro, and in a sense, they’re even more diabolical than the attacker who continues to inflict damage on our people. WWW has created a story that fills Ikebukuro with corpses, and we must insist that every product bearing this property is confiscated at once. If they will not listen, then the honorable citizens of Ikebukuro must raise their fists and deliver a righteous blow to these preachers of heresy. It may be righteous, but it is not divine. We will fight for ourselves to protect our children’s future and our right to a live in a virtuous, decent Ikebukuro…”

The PC Bloodbags have gone off theiw wockers again. They may be officiawwy cawed People for the Calm Treatment of Ikebukuro, but this merely abbreviates to P.C.T.I.BUKURO. With ti (chi) meaning “blood” and bukuro meaning “bag,” evewyone just cawws dem PC Bloodbags.
You know, if they’re not careful, that part at the end about “delivering a righteous blow” could be seen as a thweat. I mean, not that it’s a stretch to reach that concwusion.
