Chapter 94.2
Chapter 94.2
Isabella’s eyes softened. “That’s right, Seria. I’m glad you didn’t forget.”
“Of course. I remember everything you said.”
Isabella reached out a hand to stroke Seria’s blonde hair.
“You must take this medicine if you have those symptoms. Got it?”
Seria’s silver-gray eyes crinkled when she smiled.
“Sister, are things between you and Duke Kyar going well?” Seria asked curiously.
Blushing, Isabella nodded.
“That’s a relief! I knew it wouldn’t take long before he liked you again. He is nice to you like he used to be in the past.”
“How about you, Seria? Are you doing well with Prince Victor?”
“We’re always the same.” Seria replied calmly.
Seria looked somewhat satisfied with how Prince Victor treated her.
Seeing Seria and Prince Victor getting along well made Isabella feel at ease.
Although, she still felt like Seria might be wasting her youth over Prince Victor.
“Sister, let’s talk about business now. I want to open a pharmacy here in Prince Victor’s name. What do you think?”
“I think that would be great. But wouldn’t it be hard to run it by yourself?”
“I don’t do anything here, sister. I had a lot of fun helping you with your work before. That’s why I will invest everything I have in you.”
“You’re investing all your money in me? Isn’t that too dangerous?” Isabella asked worriedly, and Seria shook her head.
“I’m certain that the research institute and the planned pharmacies are never ruined. All of the medicine you made is great and effective.”
Isabella truly appreciated Seria’s trust but betting all her money on her business seemed too much.
“I think investing half of your money is enough. It’s hard for me to run research institutes and laboratories anyway, so let’s just start with the pharmacy in the meantime.”
“I might not have much money, but I don’t have to spend it while I’m here with Prince Victor. Don’t we have to build a research institute like before to run our pharmacy? We’re also going to need a laboratory to mass-produce these drugs and develop new ones.”
Of course, a massive laboratory with complete facilities might speed up the process of mass production!
“Yes, but—-”
“ I can build a research institute for us with my money. Just send me all of the medicine so I can run a pharmacy here. What do you think?”
“Since you’re the one who will invest money in this business, we can divide the profit by six to four. You’re six, and I will be four.”
Seria shook her head in refusal. “No way. You are the medicine maker. I don’t mind having three.”
“No. You will have six, Seria. I can’t even have this business without your money in my current situation.”
“I’m not trying to make money, sister. It’s enough for me that I’m doing something important with you. You know how bored I am here.”
“Seria.”
“We will divide the profit by seven to three.”
Seria refused to yield, and Isabella shook her head.
“How about five and five? Let’s just do half.”
“Sister, three is enough for me.”
“All right. If you don’t like half, let’s just have six to four. I’ll do six. Otherwise, I won’t use your money as an investment.”
When she realized Isabella wouldn’t back down, Seria sighed.
“As you wish, sister. I can’t stop you from being stubborn.”
“Seria, you’re stubborn, too.”
The two looked at each other’s faces and burst into laughter simultaneously.
After that, cordial conversations resumed.
**
Unlike Isabella and Seria, who were having a friendly conversation, the atmosphere between the two men sitting opposite Victor’s room was very dull.
Grand Duke Kyar frowned as he stared at Seria’s golden statue in Prince Victor’s room.
“What’s that?”
Grand Duke Kyar shook his head in amusement as Prince Victor explained proudly. “Isn’t it pretty? It’s a golden statue made from my longing heart that always wanted to be with Seria. There is also a golden statue modeled after me in Seria’s bedroom.”
A golden statue, huh?
Prince Victor was truly childish!
“By the way, Allen. Why did you come to Arpeon with Isabella?” Prince Victor asked while raising his teacup.
“She’s my lover, so of course, she should come with me.” He replied with nonchalance.
Duke Victor, who was just about to swallow the hot tea, spat it out.
Grand Duke Kyar’s nose wrinkled in disgust.
“Oh, I’m sorry. Your answer just never crossed my mind.”
“Why? You can’t imagine me having a lover? I bet we look good at first glance.” Duke Kyar uttered a fierce declaration. “I haven’t seen people who match as well as Isabella and me!”
Prince Victor flashed him a bitter smile. “Well, y-yes. Come to think of it. Both of you are a g-great match!”
“Don’t stutter.” As if he found it annoying to be away from Isabella, Archduke Kyar tapped the sofa’s armrest with his long finger and asked. “Why did Princess Seria want to take Isabella on her own?”
“I think they’re going to talk about business. I heard Seria is investing in Isabella’s top.”
Grand Duke Kyar’s finger, which was tapping on the sofa’s armrest, paused.
“What are they doing?”
