Chapter 261

Bam!

Chen Yu's and Hu Chong's fists collided, creating a deafening sound of metal clashing.

The black wind and murderous aura swirled around the challenge ring.

Whoosh! Whoosh!

Whoosh! Both of them took a few steps back at the same time.

"What? Hu Chong has already used Eight Desolation Fist, but he still can't defeat Chen Yu!"

"I didn't expect Chen Yu to be able to fight Hu Chong head-on. I've really underestimated him!"

The collision between the two caused the surrounding students to gasp.

On the challenge ring, Hu Chong stared at Chen Yu, slightly surprised.

"Your Connate True Qi is actually stronger than mine!"

In the history of Yunzhao Nation, there were cases of people who managed to condense Connate True Qi before reaching the Connate Stage. However, the Connate True Qi formed under such circumstances was usually slightly weaker than the real Connate True Qi.

However, the Connate True Qi that Chen Yu displayed now was stronger than Hu Chong's.

Because of this, even if Hu Chong used Eight Desolation Fist, Chen Yu would still be able to withstand it.

"You're not bad yourself. Among all the people I've met, you're the strongest!"

Chen Yu said with a smile.

"Hmph, I, Hu Chong, have never lost to you in terms of strength!"

Hu Chong snorted.

Boom! Bang!

Both of them collided again, and their fists clashed again and again.

On the challenge ring, the sound of metal clashing was incessant, shocking the audience.

Many of the audience were shocked by this scene. Were these two people's bodies really made of steel?

In a short while, both of them had exchanged fifty to sixty punches.

Chen Yu realized that his Bronze Statue Righteous Body had been tempered under Hu Chong's continuous attacks. It had become harder and tougher, and his strength had also increased.

On the other side, Hu Chong looked embarrassed.

There was a layer of Righteous Force on the surface of Chen Yu's body, which had a strong rebounding force.

Every time he collided with Chen Yu, his fists would receive a certain amount of rebounding force. Although it was not very strong, it still affected him somewhat.

"This kid is actually unscathed. He doesn't have any injuries!"

Hu Chong was secretly shocked. He could not believe it.

Although Body Cultivators had strong self-healing abilities, there were still limits to it. At this moment, there were a few bruises on his body.

"Chen Yu, it's time to end this!"

Hu Chong's expression froze and turned ferocious.

He longed to fight with Chen Yu, but he had to win!

If he continued to fight, his mental state would be affected, which would be very disadvantageous to him.

Therefore, Hu Chong chose to use a killer move to end the battle quickly.

"Eight Desolations World Extinguishing Fist!"

Hu Chong's aura suddenly skyrocketed, and a huge jet black baleful aura soared into the sky, stirring one's soul.

The muscles on his tower-like body rippled as an invisible force gathered on his fists.

"Die!"

Hu Chong punched out fiercely.

This punch was extremely fast, and its power was incomparable.

Before it even descended, a terrifying pressure descended on Chen Yu, making it difficult for him to dodge.

Of course, it would not be difficult for Chen Yu to dodge if he used his movement technique with all his might.

"Evil Qi Manifestation!"

Chen Yu mobilized his Pure Aura Qi and condensed it into a fist.

At the same time, his heart gathered power, ready to explode.

Boom!

A black baleful wind swept out, and Chen Yu punched out. The Pure Aura Qi between his fist and arm instantly formed a black python.

That python was alive, and its baleful aura was oppressive. It opened its mouth and soared upwards.

Boom!

The black python collided with Hu Chong's iron fist, rapidly destroying Hu Chong's Pure Aura and baleful aura.

Hu Chong's fist was sent flying, and he only stopped after taking ten steps back.

"How can this be?"

Hu Chong's face was full of disbelief.

There were a few bloody wounds on his palm, and the meridians in his palm were also destroyed.

If he continued to fight, his injuries would only worsen.

"How about it, do you still want to fight?"

Chen Yu asked with a smile.

"No more fighting, no more fighting!"

Hu Chong's face darkened, and he felt somewhat ashamed as he leaped back to his stone platform.

If he continued to fight, there was a high chance that he would lose. If that happened, he would not even have a chance of making it to the top ten.

Returning to his position, Hu Chong swallowed a few healing elixirs and circulated his Qi to heal himself in preparation for making it to the top ten.

Many people stared at Chen Yu as if they were looking at a monster.

Other than those with higher cultivation than Hu Chong, no one had ever defeated Hu Chong directly.

Now, those who had been sent flying by Chen Yu knew that Chen Yu was already very kind to them. If Chen Yu used his full strength, they would probably be lying on the ground for the rest of their lives.

"I didn't expect the early-stage Xiantian King of Strength, Hu Cheng, to be defeated by Chen Yu. If that's the case, Chen Yu can make it to the top five!"

"There's hope for him to make it to the top five, but it'll be difficult for him to make it to the top three. Cao Zhongtian, Situ Linyu, Duan Hao, Luo Yongguang, and the rest are not easy to deal with!"

"I didn't expect Chen Yu to make it this far. He should be the biggest dark horse in this competition!"

After the battle ended, the discussions about the two did not stop.

Hu Chong had failed the challenge.

The next challenger was Chen Yu, who was currently ranked ninth.

"Chen Yu, you have just been challenged. You have the right to postpone the challenge!"

The middle-aged man in black armor reminded.

"No need, I want to challenge Zhang Nan!"

Chen Yu shouted.

Back in the Devil Bone Wasteland, he had made up his mind not to let Zhang Nan off.

Zhang Nan had no idea what kind of opportunity he had encountered in the Devil Bone Wasteland that allowed him to make a breakthrough in his cultivation. However, that did not stop Chen Yu from making up his mind.

Besides, even if he did not challenge Zhang Nan, Zhang Nan would challenge him.

He could see it from Zhang Nan's eyes.

"What? He just fought with Hu Chong, and instead of resting, he wants to challenge another Inborn Expert!"

"He's too careless. Even if he's a demonic beast or ferocious beast, he won't be able to take it!"

After Chen Yu had fought with Nie Xuan, he was challenged by Hu Chong not long after.

However, Chen Yu had issued another challenge to Zhang Nan.

On the stone platform and in the loft, many people looked at Chen Yu in confusion. They also felt that Chen Yu's action was a little stupid.

Only Zhang Nan had a cruel smile on his gloomy face.

"Chen Yu, come on. You killed my companions in the Devil Bone Wasteland. Today, I'll avenge them!"

Zhang Nan sneered.

Upon hearing this, many onlookers immediately understood that there was a feud between Chen Yu and Zhang Nan.

Moreover, Chen Yu had killed a student. This made many people look at Chen Yu with disgust.

"You're the one who wanted to harm me, but you reaped what you sowed. As for your companion, you sent her into the tiger's mouth so that you could escape. How dare you say that!"

Chen Yu did not care and told the truth.

The competition in the Demon-free Academy was cruel. It was not uncommon for people to kill each other secretly. However, many people could not tolerate it when they attacked their companions.

Moreover, Zhang Nan and the others had a bad reputation in the academy. Therefore, everyone was more willing to believe Chen Yu's words.

"Ah … go to hell!"

Zhang Nan's expression suddenly changed. With a roar, he took out a black bone sword and charged at Chen Yu.

Whoosh!

As soon as the Dark Heavy Sword appeared, Chen Yu stomped his right foot and instantly rushed out.

In Chen Yu's eyes, Zhang Nan was easier to deal with than Hu Chong.

After all, Zhang Nan's mind had been distorted by the Demonic Intent. He could no longer think clearly and rationally.

Clang!

The Dark Heavy Sword and the bone sword in Zhang Nan's hand collided.

Chen Yu's great force instantly pushed Zhang Nan back a few steps.

"Ah …"

Zhang Nan roared. The Demonic Intent surged from his body. The black bone sword in his hand emitted a pitch-black light, bursting out a layer of majestic power.

Zhang Nan's sudden outburst made Chen Yu stop in his tracks.

The Demonic Dao was incomparably powerful. Zhang Nan did not know why he joined the Demonic Dao. His strength was not strong before, but at this moment, he burst out such a powerful force.

"Slash!"

Activating the Pure Aura Qi, Chen Yu fiercely waved the Dark Heavy Sword and pushed Zhang Nan back.

Zhang Nan's clothes were also torn by the huge Evil Wind Sword Aura.

It could be seen that some parts of Zhang Nan's skin had turned gray, emitting a hint of luster.

Seeing this scene, Chen Yu instantly thought of the strange things he had encountered in the cave in the Demonic Bone Wasteland.

Boom!

Chen Yu activated his body movement and burst out with full speed. He turned into a wild beast, waving the Dark Heavy Sword and slashing at Zhang Nan.

Zhang Nan immediately activated his Innate Qi and quickly waved the black bone sword in his hand.

Swish! Swish!

Swish! A layer of pitch-black sharp sword net was formed in an instant and shrouded Chen Yu.

"Break!"

Chen Yu exerted all his strength and fiercely waved the Dark Heavy Sword, destroying everything.

"Zhang Nan has lost!"

On the number two stone platform, Situ Linyu said slowly, but his eyes were fixed on Zhang Nan.

"This person hastily entered the Diabolism and was eroded by the Demonic Intent. His strength has been greatly reduced!"

Cao Zhongtian was a Diabolism Cultivator, so he made a simple comment.

On the challenge platform, Chen Yu and Zhang Nan exchanged nearly a hundred blows.

Chen Yu took advantage of his body movement and steadily attacked Zhang Nan, constantly injuring him.

However, the latter seemed to not feel pain, and his wounds healed quickly. The more he fought, the crazier he became.

However, although his wounds had healed on the surface, it didn't mean that his internal injuries were healed.

The internal injuries that Zhang Nan had accumulated had reached a shocking level.

"Lose!"

Chen Yu suddenly increased his speed and activated the Pure Aura Qi to perform a powerful attack.

"No … I've already reached the Innate Realm. How can I lose to you!"

Zhang Nan stared at Chen Yu fiercely, his eyes flashing with demonic light.

Boom!

Chen Yu slashed down with his sword, and the terrifying force made Zhang Nan's arm bend and his body kneel down.

Puff!

Zhang Nan spat out a mouthful of black blood, and his body flew backward and landed on the ground.

"Chen Yu wins!"

The judge announced the winner.

Just like that, Chen Yu defeated Zhang Nan and was ranked sixth.

Although his opponent had entered the Diabolism by mistake and was not in a clear state of mind, he was still an early-stage Innate Expert.

The fact that Chen Yu defeated two early-stage Innate Experts in a row was enough to attract everyone's attention.

Some people even thought that Chen Yu could be on par with Duan Hao and Situ Linyu and enter the top three.

"This guy!"

Duan Hao stared at Chen Yu with a solemn expression.

The strength that Chen Yu had displayed had far exceeded his expectations.

Following that, two more battles were fought, and they ended hastily.

On the stone platform, Luo Yongguang and Luo Haotian looked at each other and couldn't help but smile.

"Alright, the next challenger is Luo Yongguang. Chen Yu should be at his limit after defeating two Innate Experts in a row. Although he has fought two battles, he didn't rest for long!"

Luo Haotian was secretly delighted.

Seeing Chen Yu reach this stage, he felt very upset.

But finally, there was a good outcome.

Luo Yongguang would not be merciful. He would definitely injure Chen Yu severely so that he would not be able to enter the top five. If there was a chance, he could pretend to have lost and kill Chen Yu.

Swoosh!

A skinny young man stepped onto the platform, and his eyes fell directly on Chen Yu.
