Chapter 414

Right now, from Lu Tiezu's point of view, Chen Yu wasn't just greeting him. He was obviously flaunting his prowess, provoking, and showing off …

Lu Tiezu never thought that one day, a simple greeting from someone would infuriate him to this extent.

He was infuriated and was trying his best to suppress the hatred and anger in his heart.

During the previous supreme conference, he wasn't able to kill Chen Yu. Therefore, during this conference, it was even more impossible for him to kill Chen Yu.

That time, when Chen Yu first returned to the Chu Kingdom, most people had the impression that he was a traitor, a junior, and an insignificant person.

Only Elder Duanmu and Gong Yangshan were against him.

But this time, Chen Yu had made great contributions and had even killed an Origin Realm martial artist. His name had spread far and wide and he was now a reputable figure.

In addition, Chen Yu killed an Origin Realm expert. It didn't matter what dirty tricks he used or if he had the help of others, Chen Yu still killed an Origin Realm expert.

During the war in the Northern Plains, the combat strength that Chen Yu had displayed was what the three kingdoms needed.

If he were to kill Chen Yu during the supreme conference, then his illustrious reputation would be ruined. Although his reputation wasn't that great to begin with.

Furthermore, this time, it wasn't just the High Sword Sect and Gong Yangshan who were against him.

"Hmph."

Lu Tiezu coldly snorted, angrily flicked his sleeves, walked to a seat, and sat down.

He was feeling a little regretful. Five years ago, or the last time he saw Chen Yu, he should have killed Chen Yu at all costs.

Right now, even he didn't realize that there was a trace of uneasiness in his heart.

Chen Yu, Gong Yangshan, and Elder Mao took their seats and waited for the other members of the conference.

Subsequently, the higher ups of Shuiyue Sect, Bone Devil Palace, Iron Sword Sect, and Yunyue Sect arrived one after another.

At a certain moment, a beautiful woman walked in. She was Elder Duanmu of the Qi Kingdom's High Sword Sect.

When Elder Duanmu arrived, he first looked at Chen Yu and nodded with a smile.

Previously, during the conference regarding the moon spirit ore mine, Elder Duanmu took the initiative and made a huge concession, allowing Chen Yu to gain the most benefits.

After returning to the Sect, Elder Ancestor was very dissatisfied and Elder Chai took the opportunity to add fuel to the fire.

But fortunately, not long after, Chen Yu made a huge contribution and his name was spread far and wide.

Elder Duanmu's pressure from High Sword Sect instantly disappeared and his prestige grew even higher.

All of this was a mutually beneficial cooperation.

All of this was a win-win situation.

"Everyone is here. The meeting of the Three Kingdoms will now begin!"

When many of the higher ups heard this news, they were very excited. Not to mention the rest of the people of the three kingdoms.

Therefore, the higher ups of the three kingdoms placed great importance on this matter and decided to publicize it to boost morale.

With morale and hope, the overall strength of the entire alliance of the three kingdoms would have a huge change.

After finishing, Palace Master Fu took a deep look at Chen Yu.

It was such a foolish decision to transfer Chen Yu to Thousand Mountain City back then.

With Chen Yu's strength, how could Protector Wei have a way to deal with him?

Palace Master Fu realized that he couldn't see through Chen Yu at all.

"Elder Chen is indeed a young hero. At such a young age, you already possess such formidable strength. It is the great fortune of our Yunyue Sect!"

A high ranking elder of Yunyue Sect said with a smile, complimenting Chen Yu and establishing prestige for Yunyue Sect at the same time.

Next, the higher ups began to discuss the matters related to killing the Origin Realm, as well as the reward for Chen Yu.

Killing the enemy's Origin Realm was of great significance to the three kingdoms.

If it was combined with some measures, it would have an unexpected effect.

First, the higher ups decided to hang Man Ta's head above the Chu Country Sect's camp to publicize this achievement and at the same time, motivate the people.

Secondly, they held some activities to motivate the participants of the three kingdoms.

Among them, some people suggested to add some rare battle merits to exchange for items, or to hold some exchange activities.

Finally, they discussed Chen Yu's reward.

"Chen Yu killed Man Ta, reward 655,555 battle merits."

Palace Master Fu announced.

These were all extra rewards. If it was during normal times, no matter how many enemies were killed, there would be no such thing as battle merits.

"I suggest to promote Chen Yu to the position of Alliance Elder."

Elder Duanmu suggested.

In the three kingdoms alliance, there were three Alliance Leaders who had the highest authority. Below them were the Alliance Elders.

From this, it could be seen that the Alliance Elders were of great significance.

The number of Alliance Elders a Sect had basically represented the strength and status of the Sect.

Elder Duanmu and Chen Yu had a good relationship. If Chen Yu became the Alliance Elder, she would have many benefits as well.

"That is feasible."

Elder Gong Yang said with a smile.

"No way. The Alliance Elder is related to the survival of the three kingdoms. Such an important responsibility, how can we let a young kid like Chen Yu take up the position?"

Lu Tiezu objected on the spot.

He was the Alliance Elder. If Chen Yu also obtained this position, wouldn't he be on the same level as him?

"That's right. Chen Yu is still too young. He might be able to train for another ten years."

The Iron Sword Sect Patriarch spoke up for the Supreme Elder.

"There doesn't seem to be a rule that a young person can't be the Alliance Elder right?"

Chen Yu suddenly spoke.

Normally, when people were recommended by their elders, they would pretend to be humble.

However, Chen Yu had taken the initiative to attack, acting as if he wanted to obtain this position.

Of course, Chen Yu was mainly here to anger Lu Tiezu.

"There is indeed no such rule. Furthermore, Chen Yu's battle merits have probably exceeded most of the Alliance War Elders."

Gong Yang Shan answered Chen Yu's question and spoke up for Chen Yu.

The moment these words were spoken, a few of the Alliance Elders couldn't help but lower their heads.

Chen Yu had obtained 655,555 battle merits just by killing the Origin Realm experts. He had also occupied the cities, destroyed the strongholds, and killed many strong enemies. His accumulated battle merits would probably be around 615,555 to 625,555.

Most of them, on the other hand, had just over a hundred thousand battle merits, and this was all accumulated over many years.

"This move can also motivate others. Once they achieve a certain level of achievement or have a huge amount of battle merits, they might be able to become the Alliance Elder. This will have a positive effect on the entire war."

Elder Duanmu spoke again.

This time, he was trying to fight for this position for Chen Yu through the influence of the war.

"Chen Yu might be young, but he has made great contributions on his first battlefield. He is experienced and has a high chance of reaching the Origin Realm in the future and becoming the Alliance Elder."

A short old man from the Purple Cloud Palace said.

His Purple Cloud Palace had no enmity with Yunyue Gate or Chen Yu.

What's more, the Purple Cloud Palace was now weaker than the High Sword Sect and needed connections.

Chen Yu would take 85% of the Moon Spirit Ore Vein's distribution.

Chen Yu naturally wouldn't be able to take so much of the Moon Spirit Ore Vein. When the time comes, he would definitely sell a portion of it. As the saying goes, the pavilion closest to the water enjoys the moonlight first. Now that they had a good relationship with Chen Yu, it would be easier when the time comes.

"Chen Yu has made great contributions. He is fully deserving of the position of Alliance Elder."

On the Yan Kingdom's side, the armored man spoke.

He also had no enmity with Chen Yu. In the future, he would still need to purchase the Moon Spirit Ore Vein from Chen Yu. Therefore, he spoke up for Chen Yu.

Palace Head Fu and Ancestor Absolute Yin looked at each other and had a secret discussion before coming to a decision.

"Since the majority is in favor, then this Alliance Head shall confer the position of Alliance Elder to Chen Yu."

Ancestor Absolute Yin announced.

Becoming an Alliance Elder was equivalent to having the highest authority in the three kingdoms. One would have the right to know any news in the three kingdoms and would also have many privileges.

For example, only Alliance Elders could participate in the highest level conference. The reason why Chen Yu participated in two consecutive conferences was mainly because he was the one who initiated it.

Of course, these weren't very useful to Chen Yu, but it would be a waste if he didn't take it.

Not far away, Lu Tiezu's face was black and he looked extremely embarrassed.

After the conference ended, the news of Chen Yu becoming an Alliance Elder spread like wildfire.

"Oh my god, such a young Alliance Elder!"

The relevant decisions of the three kingdoms were made by the Alliance Head and the Alliance Elders. It affected the lives of countless people in the three kingdoms.

"That means I also have a slight chance of becoming an Alliance Elder."

"Forget it. With your ten or twenty thousand battle merits, it's impossible in this lifetime."

…

After the conference ended, Chen Yu prepared to return to his residence.

On the way, a beautiful and delicate girl suddenly jumped out. A pair of bright eyes stared at Chen Yu. Her long eyelashes trembled slightly, which made people's eyes light up.

"Brother Yu!"

The girl called out in surprise.

Chen Yu smiled. He recognized the lively and beautiful girl in front of him. It was his cousin, Chen Ying 'er.

After five years, Chen Ying 'er had changed a lot. She had grown from an innocent little girl to a slender and elegant girl. She had a full figure and was beautiful. However, from the faint smile on her lips, one could tell that her weird personality hadn't changed much.

"Brother Yu, we haven't seen each other for so many years. Why didn't you come to see me when you came back?"

Chen Ying 'er pretended to complain.

Whoosh!

A purple light flashed. A purple fox lay on Chen Ying 'er's shoulder. A pair of deep purple eyes flickered with a bright light.

After looking for a long time, a trace of fear flashed in the purple fox's eyes.

"Didn't I see you?"

Chen Yu laughed dryly and joked.

In fact, he hadn't been back for long. He had been busy.

For example, going to the battlefield was an order from Palace Master Fu. If he didn't go, Palace Master Fu would have an excuse to target Chen Yu.

Of course, now that Chen Yu was an Alliance Elder, his words had more weight.

"Brother Yu, you must have a lover. That's why you forgot about me."

Chen Ying 'er pouted and continued.

She had heard that when Chen Yu returned to Chu, there was a beauty by his side. The two of them were almost like shadows.

Chen Yu looked at Chen Ying 'er. He had already guessed what she was thinking.

"Brother Yu, you just became an Alliance Elder. This is something worth celebrating. Don't you think you should express your gratitude?"

Chen Ying 'er's expression suddenly changed, and she put on a fawning smile.

Chen Yu had a feeling that this cousin of his would definitely blackmail him when she saw him.

"That's not a problem!"

Chen Yu invited Chen Ying 'er to his residence.

In his family, other than his parents, the only one who had a good relationship with Chen Yu was Chen Ying 'er.

Chen Ying 'er's luck was extraordinary. She was talented in cultivation and had even signed a contract with an ancient beast in the Blood Burial Garden.

That purple fox had the rare 'Sky Fox' bloodline. Its potential far exceeded that of ordinary ancient beasts. It was almost close to the legendary Saint Beasts. It should be similar to the Firescale Beast.
