Chapter 487

In the secret room, Chen Yu was cultivating in seclusion. He felt comfortable and his cultivation was very smooth.

When he was in the Chu Kingdom, every time Chen Yu went into seclusion, he would need to spend a huge amount of primeval stones to set up an energy gathering array. But in the special cultivation grounds of the Devilless College, he didn't need to do this.

Half a month later, Chen Yu ended his seclusion.

"Within four years, I have hopes of breaking through to the intermediate stage of the Origin Realm."

Chen Yu deduced based on his cultivation progress.

"Master has reminded me time and time again to prepare for the tea party. There must be a reason for it. The Nine Bone Devil Spirit Sword is too valuable and shouldn't be taken out. The Greatsword's grade is too low and isn't suitable for me anymore. "

Chen Yu was in deep thought.

In terms of grade, his Nine Bone Demon Spirit Sword might be a little higher than the complete Heavenly Fault Sword.

But the Greatsword was only a half spiritual weapon. It wouldn't be able to increase Chen Yu's strength much.

The Prodigy Tea Party gathered the top 05 prodigies of the three previous tournaments.

Just take the previous tournament as an example. When Chen Yu defeated Ye Chengfeng and Yun Haizhen, he took a huge risk. If he had been careless, he might have lost.

These two had shocking backgrounds. Ye Chengfeng was from the Ye Clan, one of the four major clans, while Yun Haizhen was from the royal Yun Clan. They didn't need to worry about resources and the cultivation environment was great. With their talents, their growth in strength would be terrifying.

In the previous tournament, Chen Yu defeated the two of them. Now that he was up against Ye Chengfeng and Yun Haizhen, it was hard to say who would win.

In the latest tournament, there were also many prodigies. Eight Origin Realm prodigies were born. First place Situ Linyu even took first place with an invincible aura.

It had been a year and a half since the tournament. They must have digested the rewards and had a huge increase in strength.

Besides these two tournaments, there were also the old members from the previous tournament.

Although the tournament was getting stronger each time, under the same age, the old members couldn't be compared to the new members. But there was no fairness in this world. Those old members had more than ten years of experience and had been tempered to a terrifying extent.

The organizers of this Prodigy Tea Party were supposed to be Chen Yu and Yun Yingwu, the champion of the Academy Tournament two years ago.

However, since he couldn't get in touch with Chen Yu, Yun Haizhen took his place.

Yun Yingwu and Yun Haizhen were both members of the royal family, which seemed to indicate how powerful the royal family of Yunzhao Nation was.

Since the organizers were all members of the royal family, the venue of the tea party was the Yunyang Sacred Manor.

As early as a few months ago, the venue for the Tea Party of Outstanding Talents had already been in preparation.

"As the champion of the last competition, I can't embarrass myself too much. I have to forge a suitable weapon."

Chen Yu made a decision and left the courtyard.

Not long after, Chen Yu arrived at the No-Demon Academy's Artifact Forging Center.

From afar, Chen Yu sensed a scorching aura coming from a valley in the distance.

Chen Yu didn't hide his cultivation aura. When he approached, the guards immediately bowed and opened the barrier to let Chen Yu in.

Inside the valley, rows of palaces and pavilions were built on the walls.

In the middle of the valley, there was a huge palace that looked like a furnace. Occasionally, it would spit out clouds of fire mist.

When Chen Yu entered, he attracted the attention of the craftsmen.

"Chen Yu?"

"Chen Yu is here."

The craftsmen were a little surprised and called out to him.

However, as craftsmen, they had a distinguished status, unlike some students who immediately came up to flatter him.

In the corner, a bald blacksmith couldn't help but tremble when he saw Chen Yu.

"Master Liu."

After taking a glance at the bald master, Chen Yu noticed that the bald master was the only one he recognized.

"Chen Yu, what do you need this time?"

Master Liu asked with a bitter smile.

A few years ago, Chen Yu came here to forge a supreme-grade spiritual weapon.

Master Liu wanted to slack off, so he didn't do his job well, which made Chen Yu unhappy and the two of them argued.

Coincidentally, the number one craftsman, Master Shen, came out. Master Liu wanted to falsely accuse Chen Yu and purposely belittle the Giant Ruler Sword. Unexpectedly, the Giant Ruler Sword was the work of Master Shen when he was young.

Master Liu offended Master Shen and his status here plummeted.

This time, when he saw Chen Yu, the anger in his heart was ignited again, but he had to suppress it.

Firstly, Chen Yu had an extraordinary status in the institute. Secondly, he must have broken through to the Origin Realm. As long as he didn't die, his future would be limitless.

If Master Liu held a grudge and couldn't beat Chen Yu, he might as well forget everything.

"I'm looking for Master Shen."

Chen Yu explained his purpose.

Based on Chen Yu's understanding, Master Shen was the blacksmith with the best memory in the entire Yunzhao Nation. He was one of the best in the entire country.

Chen Yu naturally hoped to hire the best craftsman to help him forge weapons.

"Master Shen … alright, I'll help you ask."

Master Liu hesitated, but he still agreed and walked deeper into the palace.

Ever since he offended Master Shen, every time he met Master Shen, Master Shen wouldn't give him any face. This made Liu Yuan a little afraid of Master Shen.

Dong dong!

Master Liu walked to the door of the secret room and knocked lightly. Seeing no response, he knocked a few more times.

Suddenly, the door of the secret room opened. Master Shen looked outside and frowned when he saw Liu Yuan. "What's the matter?"

"Chen Yu wants to see you."

Master Liu bowed slightly and said.

"Oh? That kid is back? "

Master Shen's brows relaxed. After thinking for a while, he said, "Let him in."

"Alright."

Master Liu left and heaved a sigh of relief.

After a while, Chen Yu walked in.

"Master Shen, help me forge a spiritual weapon. How about it?"

Chen Yu said straightforwardly.

From the last time they met, Chen Yu felt that Master Shen was a temperamental person. There wasn't much of a difference between being respectful or disrespectful to him.

"Kid, you really aren't tactful at all. Don't you know that even some mentors and deans in the college have to be polite when they ask me to forge a spiritual weapon for them?"

Master Shen said with a smile, feeling a little helpless.

"We are strangers the first time, we get to know each other the second time."

Chen Yu immediately tried to get close. He walked towards Master Shen and took out the Greatsword.

"My cultivation is already at the peak of the initial stage of the Origin Realm. This sword isn't of much use to me."

Chen Yu said bluntly.

In the Yunzhao Kingdom, some of the elite prodigies or the initial stage of the Origin Realm with a powerful background would use spiritual weapons.

To Chen Yu, this Incomplete Spiritual Artifact was indeed a little outdated.

"Also, I still need to attend the Prodigy Tea Party half a year later. If I don't have a suitable weapon, I'm afraid I will embarrass the students."

Chen Yu said again.

"You kid, if you embarrass the college, are you going to blame me for not forging a spiritual weapon for you?"

Master Shen said impatiently.

"I didn't say that."

Chen Yu immediately denied.

"Take out all the materials you have."

Master Shen didn't say much and went back to the topic.

As the previous champion, if Chen Yu didn't perform well at the Prodigy Tea Party, it would indeed be embarrassing.

Moreover, Chen Yu had a bright future. If he helped Chen Yu forge a spiritual weapon, Chen Yu would owe him a favor.

Chen Yu immediately took out some materials from the Mist Spitting Pearl.

Most of them were obtained from the Hidden Domain of the College Tournament. There were also a dozen dragon teeth which were materials from the Scarlet Eyed Flood Dragon.

"These materials are alright, but I'm afraid that the Spirit Artifact you refine won't be compatible with your cultivation method."

"Also, you like heavy swords. These materials aren't enough to forge a spiritual weapon heavy sword."

Master Shen took a glance and said.

Chen Yu didn't know much about smithing. After hearing Master Shen's analysis, he indeed felt that his preparations weren't thorough enough.

"With the materials you have taken out, this old man can probably forge a low-grade superior quality heavy sword for you, and it might not even be suitable. If you can gather a few more precious materials, I can help you customize a low-grade pinnacle spiritual weapon. "

Master Shen said again.

A low-grade pinnacle spiritual weapon was equivalent to the Sky Moon Sword. It was already pretty good.

Furthermore, if it was forged by Master Shen, it wouldn't be too bad.

To be able to forge a low-grade pinnacle spiritual weapon, Chen Yu naturally didn't want a superior quality one.

"Alright, I wonder what other materials are needed?"

Chen Yu asked. He had already chosen to forge a low-grade pinnacle spiritual weapon.

The progress of the Origin Realm was slow and a single weapon could be used for a long time. Therefore, Chen Yu hoped to forge a better and more suitable spiritual weapon.

"I will give you a list of materials. If you can gather three of them in sufficient quantity, that will be enough. Of course, the more the better."

Master Shen took out a piece of paper and wrote on it before passing it to Chen Yu.

"Alright."

Chen Yu took the paper and left the forging area.

Spiritual weapons were expensive and the materials weren't cheap either. Heavy swords required a large amount of materials, especially since Chen Yu was planning to forge a better spiritual weapon.

After leaving, he arrived at the Demon-Free Main Hall.

The trading area here was filled with dazzling items, but there weren't many that were for the Origin Realm. After walking around, Chen Yu only found one usable material and it was in very little quantity.

A mosquito might be small, but it was still meat. Chen Yu bought it.

"It seems like it is impossible to gather the materials in the Demon-Free College. I have to make a trip outside."

Chen Yu sighed.

But when Chen Yu returned to the Demon-Free College, he caused quite a commotion. When he first returned, he even killed three monks from the Lawless Monastery. He was probably being watched by the remaining forces of the Sect.

Therefore, Chen Yu purchased a special black robe. After putting it on, spiritual awareness couldn't penetrate it.

After leaving the Demon-Free College, Chen Yu put on the black robe, revealing only his face below the nose.

Soon, he arrived at the Tianhe Royal City.

The Tianhe Prefecture had three major powers. They were the Demon-Free College, Situ Clan, and Duan Clan.

Therefore, the Tianhe Prefecture's economy was very prosperous. There were all kinds of shops, miscellaneous shops, precious material shops, restaurants, etc.

Chen Yu arrived at the material shop, the Origin Realm area.

Origin Realm materials were very rare and those that met Chen Yu's requirements were even rarer.

In the Yunzhao Kingdom, most of the resources were controlled by the major forces. Because of this, they were able to attract batch after batch of cultivators to join them.

After strolling around for a long time, Chen Yu picked out a type of ore called Blacklight Stone, and the quantity of the ore met his requirements. Now, he only needed to collect two materials of sufficient quantity to forge a top-tier low-grade spirit artifact.

The female servant saw that the material Chen Yu chose was extremely valuable and expensive. She guessed that Chen Yu must be a rich man. Hence, she said, "If you can't find a suitable material, you can go to the 'Blood Red Restaurant' to take a look."

"Restaurant?"

Chen Yu was slightly stunned.

He was buying his own materials. Why would he go to a restaurant?

However, this female servant worked in the material shop. She knew Chen Yu's requirements and would not lie.

Before leaving, Chen Yu gave her a generous tip, causing the maid to beam with joy at Chen Yu. "Customer, if you need anything in the future, remember to come here again!"
