Chapter 868

Somewhere in the Blood Devouring Secret Realm, the three young patriarchs had gathered.

Behind them, there was a huge and unadorned stone door. Above the stone door, blood flowed down the stone door and seeped into the ground.

The three young patriarchs stood in the four corners, not speaking to each other.

This was the entrance to the second trial. Only the two young patriarchs and their followers were allowed to enter.

The three young patriarchs were waiting for their followers to arrive and fight for the two spots.

It could be said that whoever's follower arrived first would have an advantage and be able to pass through the stone door first.

At this moment, the space trembled and a huge sound rang out.

Even the simple stone door in front of him was trembling, and the blood on it splattered in all directions.

The entire trial space was filled with a terrifying bloodline pressure. Even the bloodline power of the three junior patriarchs was trembling slightly at this moment.

"What's going on?"

Young patriarch Gu frowned and then sized up the other two young patriarchs.

"It's only the first stage, yet there's already such a huge commotion. It's a little unusual."

Young patriarch Long said.

"Is there something wrong with the progenitor's blood?"

Young patriarch Wei looked at the stone door.

"Impossible."

Young patriarch Gu immediately denied it.

The progenitor's blood was the final reward of the Blood Devouring Trial.

Although it was extremely rare, any drop of the progenitor's blood could greatly increase the bloodline of a descendant of the Blood Devouring Race, allowing them to suppress descendants of the same level.

It was even possible for the descendant's blood to "regress" and become a true descendant of the Blood Devouring Race.

If something happened to the progenitor's blood, what was the point of this trial?

"But that bloodline pressure just now was clearly the aura of the progenitor's blood."

Young patriarch Wei sighed inwardly.

Blood Ocean Realm.

Blood Qi spewed out from the opening of the Blood Devouring Trial like a spring, covering the surroundings in a layer of bloody mist.

The trembling of the Blood Devouring Secret Realm alarmed all the upper echelons.

"What's happening in the secret realm?"

"Is the battle between the three young patriarchs reaching the final moment? Isn't this too fast? "

Many of the upper echelons of the Blood Race speculated.

The Blood Devouring Trial was of great importance. Even the half-step Kings and Kings gathered here were alarmed.

In the past trials, only the final moments of the competition would cause a phenomenon.

But this time around, an unusual phenomenon had occurred not long after the Blood Devouring Trial had begun. It was truly inconceivable.

However, they couldn't check the situation inside the trial, nor could they interfere.

On the other hand, Icelike Supremacy wasn't too bothered. He was just waiting for the trial to end so that he could capture Chen Yu.

…

"What's going on?"

Venerable Bloodscale sensed the terrifying aura that was suddenly released by the mystic realm. His bloodline trembled as he felt an even greater suppression.

Although Chen Yu was right in front of him, Venerable Bloodscale could never imagine that the Bloodsucking Space's abnormalities were caused by Chen Yu.

"Why do I have the aura of a descendant of the Devouring Blood Clan?"

Venerable Bloodscale stared at Chen Yu in disbelief.

Could it be that the Chen Yu in front of him was actually a Junior Ancestor in disguise?

All members of the Blood Race had an instinctive fear toward the descendants of the Blood Devouring Clan.

"Because I am your young ancestor."

Chen Yu grinned and deliberately interfered with the Venerable Bloodscale.

"Impossible! That's impossible!"

Venerable Bloodscale shook his head with a panicked expression. He immediately denied it.

He could only deny Chen Yu's identity as a descendant of the Blood Devouring Clan. Only then could he find a reason to attack Chen Yu.

At this moment.

Chen Yu executed the Bright Sun Sword Finger.

Boom!

A pillar of crimson flame shot out and headed straight for Venerable Bloodscale.

Boom!

Venerable Bloodscale placed his axe in front of him and blocked the attack.

But suddenly, a second beam of crimson flame sword qi came from a higher position and headed straight for his head.

Venerable Bloodscale freed a hand and condensed his Quintessential Yuan into a black-red claw that slapped out.

Boom!

A crimson light exploded and one of Venerable Bloodscale's fingers was blown off. His palm was covered in crimson flames that devoured his blood and lifeforce.

"Slash!"

Right at this moment, Chen Yu descended from above and slashed down with his demonic sword. Clang!

Boom!

Venerable Bloodscale waved his axe and faced the attack. The two weapons clashed and a violent energy spread out in all directions, destroying everything in its path.

Venerable Bloodscale was suppressed by Chen Yu's descendant aura of the Blood Devouring Clan, so he could only use about 25% of his strength.

Apart from that, the phenomenon of the Blooddevouring Secret Realm also affected him to a certain extent.

But Chen Yu wasn't affected, and his strength had increased by several times under the Heart Burst state.

Therefore, Chen Yu had the absolute advantage in this clash.

Venerable Bloodscale's figure kept retreating and smashed through two walls before sinking into the ground. The ground around him cracked.

"Scram!"

Venerable Bloodscale felt a strong sense of danger and Chen Yu's killing intent. He roared and countless cracks appeared on his body. A crimson light blossomed and a shocking amount of blood energy flowed into the axe in his hand. Boom!

Bang!

The power of both sides collided violently, turning into a black and red ball of light that devoured everything and continued to expand.

Whoosh!

Chen Yu retreated dozens of steps. All the minor injuries on his body were quickly healed under the effect of the Primary Grade Immortal Body.

Venerable Bloodscale's arms were completely broken and he lay in a huge pit in the distance.

"Venerable Bloodscale, do you know your crime for offending this Young Ancestor?"

Chen Yu roared.

"No … you're not a descendant of the Blood Devouring Clan!"

Venerable Bloodscale's face was filled with madness.

As the strongest follower of Young Ancestor Gu, he wasn't willing to stop at this step. He still had ambitions in his heart. He still wanted to become a Star Condensation Monarch!

"No, you're not Jin Yudong …"

Venerable Bloodscale suddenly realized something.

Previously, he was too nervous and panicked and neglected too many details. Now that he thought about it carefully, there were many things wrong with Chen Yu.

"You … the method you used just now, it's the same as Chen Yu …"

Venerable Bloodscale thought of a bounty, a bounty that could even tempt a Star Condensation Monarch!

The Chen Yu on the bounty had many similarities with the Jin Yudong in front of him.

"Offending the Young Ancestor and slandering this Young Ancestor's identity, I'll grant you death!"

Chen Yu grinned and continued to act as the Young Ancestor to disturb and anger Venerable Bloodscale.

In the next moment, he mobilized the bloodline stored in the mysterious heart.

An ancient bloodline power burst forth from his body, and an invisible gravity descended upon the surroundings, causing the ground to tremble.

Chen Yu's figure doubled in size, and the dark-yellow bloodline power around him formed a massive phantom of a demonic bull.

This was the Desolate Bull bloodline, which could increase strength and physique defense.

Boom!

Chen Yu suddenly charged out like an ancient demonic bull.

Swish!

A crimson figure charged out from the Bloodscale Venerable's body and fled into the distance.

Venerable Bloodscale chose to escape!

He was afraid of Chen Yu's identity as a descendant of the Blood Devouring Clan. Coupled with his heavy injuries, he wasn't a match for Chen Yu.

On the other hand, he was starting to suspect Chen Yu's identity.

No matter what, he had to meet up with the Young Ancestor first. He believed that the other Young Ancestors wouldn't allow a fourth descendant of the Blood Devouring Clan to appear.

However, there was no way Chen Yu would let Venerable Bloodscale leave.

Bloodline power spread out from his body once again, and a layer of azure wind tattoos appeared on his skin. His hair also turned azure.

This was the Azure Shadow bloodline, which could increase speed and explosive power.

"Die!"

When Chen Yu could no longer defend himself, he charged forward and stabbed his sword forward.

"Two bloodline powers. Could you be a member of the Blood Devouring Clan!?"

Venerable Bloodscale was scared out of his wits when he saw this.

The descendants of the Blood Devouring Clan could devour the bloodline of others and use it for themselves, but they could only use one bloodline at the same time.

Only a true member of the Blood Devouring Clan could use two bloodline powers at the same time.

At this moment, Venerable Bloodscale's mind turned blank as if it had been struck by ten thousand lightning bolts.

When he regained consciousness, Chen Yu's sword had already arrived.

Bang!

Venerable Bloodscale did his best to block, but he was still half a step too late. Chen Yu's demonic sword pierced through everything, including his body.

"I don't want to die … who are you?"

Venerable Bloodscale's body fell to the ground, his expression weak and exhausted.

His thoughts were in complete chaos, and he couldn't understand the enemy in front of him.

"Die!"

Chen Yu didn't answer the other's question. He swept his sword across Venerable Bloodscale's head and reaped his life.

In the next instant, the explosive state of his heart ended, and the Desolate Bull and Azure Shadow bloodlines were completely exhausted.

"Young Ancestor Gu's strongest follower is dead, and Young Ancestor Wei has one less competitor. His chances of victory have greatly increased."

Chen Yu murmured.

If he told Young Ancestor Wei about his battle results, he would be able to obtain more rewards, but it would also come with a lot of risk.

Therefore, Chen Yu decided to keep this a secret.

He took out the token and followed his senses, continuing on his way.

After traveling a dozen or so kilometers, Chen Yu left the maze and arrived at a vast blood-colored wasteland.

In the distance.

Rumble!

The sound of explosions rang out continuously. The battle was extremely intense.

The three young ancestors didn't make a move. Their followers were engaged in a fierce battle.

Among them, Young Ancestor Long had two followers, while Young Ancestor Gu and Young Ancestor Wei only had one follower. The two sides worked together to deal with Young Ancestor Long's follower.

"Jin Yudong, come and lend me a hand!"

Young Ancestor Wei was overjoyed when he saw Chen Yu and immediately shouted.

The other two young ancestors' expressions darkened slightly.

In the first round, whoever's follower arrived first had the advantage.

With Chen Yu's participation, the battle of followers also changed.

Young Ancestor Gu only had one follower, while the other two young ancestors had two followers.

"Kill!"

Young Ancestor Wei immediately attacked. A slender blood sword flew out at an incredible speed, as if nothing could stop it.

Pfft!

The sword pierced through Young Ancestor Gu's follower's throat, killing him on the spot.

This was the young ancestor's strength. A sudden attack killed a peak late-stage Void Sea Kindred!

"You're courting death!"

Young Ancestor Gu roared, choosing to kill Young Ancestor Wei's follower and attack Chen Yu.

But at this moment, Young Ancestor Long appeared in front of Chen Yu and punched out. An enormous blood qi shook the surroundings, forming a blood pillar that blasted out.

"Damn it, those bastards, why are they so slow?"

Young Ancestor Gu cursed and retreated.

He didn't know that two of his five followers had died in Chen Yu's hands, including the strongest among them, Venerable Bloodscales.
