Volume 6, Chapter 361 – I’ll Do Anything You Ask
“Who are you?”
Immortal Xie’s face paled in shock as he immediately raised his guard. He knew that anyone capable of appearing before him undetected was no ordinary person.
“The one who’s here to grant your wish, of course!”
Qi Huang sneered as she stepped forward.
A sense of foreboding gripped Immortal Xie, and he instinctively moved to kill his hostage, but then, to his horror, he realized that an unfathomably vast divine sense had silently enveloped him like an endless ocean. The crushing pressure immobilized him completely. He couldn’t even blink, and his own divine sense was trapped within his Sea of Consciousness, unable to manifest.
With a flick of her right hand, Qi Huang sent the Cicada Wing Sword shooting forth like a meteor, piercing straight through Immortal Xie’s left chest. Then, she withdrew her divine sense.
Immortal Xie instantly collapsed like a deflated balloon, his body going limp as his expression froze in terror.
“Done!”
Qi Huang clapped her hands lightly.
Liu Zheng’s face twisted in shock. He knew exactly how powerful Immortal Xie was, yet such a mighty cultivator had been effortlessly crushed by this young girl. Just who is she?
“Father!”
Liu Yingyue rushed forward in excitement.
“Wait!”
Qi Huang raised a hand to stop her. “Unless you want him to disperse into nothingness right now, put your protective talisman into the pouch first.”
Liu Yingyue hesitated for a moment before hurriedly stuffing her Monarch-grade Protective Talisman into the talisman pouch. Only then did she rush to her father’s side, tearfully apologizing. But now, separated by life and death, she couldn’t even hold his hand.
Qi Huang tactfully stayed out of their reunion, instead calmly observing Immortal Xie’s corpse.
Before long, the body truly became lifeless, and Immortal Xie’s Life Soul was forcibly expelled.
Both Liu Zheng and his daughter could now see spirits, and they recoiled in fright.
Immortal Xie, however, was too terrified to even think of revenge. He turned and fled in panic.
“Oh, don’t run! Didn’t you want to see your dead old man?”
Qi Huang teased, her divine sense morphing into a massive hand that traversed dozens of feet in an instant, seizing Immortal Xie’s fleeing soul.

“Spare me, Fairy! Please! I’ll give you all the wealth I’ve accumulated over the years!”
Immortal Xie begged desperately.
“I never ask for rewards when doing good deeds. If I said I’d send you to your father, then that’s exactly what I’ll do.”
With a cold smile, Qi Huang clenched her will, and the divine sense hand crushed the soul to nothingness.
Liu Zheng gasped, his expression now one of deep awe.
As for Liu Yingyue, she was neither a cultivator nor worldly enough to grasp just how terrifyingly powerful her “maid” truly was.
“May I ask how this Fairy should be addressed?”
Liu Zheng floated closer and bowed respectfully.
“Easy! Chen Yuzhu, your daughter’s maid.”
Qi Huang answered nonchalantly.
“A… maid?”
Liu Zheng was stunned, then turned a questioning gaze toward his daughter.
“Ah, well… ‘bodyguard’ might be more accurate.”
Liu Yingyue awkwardly summarized the situation.
“I see. Many thanks, Fairy, for protecting my daughter along the way.”
Liu Zheng bowed deeply.
“No need for thanks. Just doing my job.”
Qi Huang waved it off, then eagerly asked, “Uncle Liu, I’d like to ask. On the night you were killed, did you see what that evil spirit looked like?”
Though puzzled, Liu Zheng answered honestly, “After death, I did. It was an old man with white hair.”
“Good. I need a witness.”
Qi Huang’s eyes curved into crescents, her smile almost playful.

“A witness for what?”
Liu Yingyue asked blankly.
“Too complicated to explain now. You’ll see.”
Qi Huang replied cryptically.
“Father, let’s go home! Little Yu has cat’s tears, everyone will be so happy to see you, especially Mother!”
Liu Yingyue suggested excitedly.
‘Happy? More like scared out of their wits! You think the servants won’t drop dead from fright?’
Qi Huang couldn’t help but scoff internally.
“Child, just seeing you again is enough for me. You two go back without me.”
Liu Zheng gently refused.
“Then… what about you?”
Liu Yingyue pressed anxiously.
“Me? I know my condition. I don’t have much time left. Rather than putting the family through another farewell, I’d rather find a quiet place to fade away peacefully. I’ve lived long enough, life and death don’t frighten me.”
His smile was serene.
“What? Why?!”
Liu Yingyue’s composure shattered again.
“According to that Immortal Xie, my soul only survived because of the lingering Yin energy from the evil spirit that killed me. But now, after these past few days, that energy has nearly dissipated. I can feel myself weakening.”
Liu Zheng sighed wearily.
‘Just as I thought.’
Qi Huang smirked inwardly.
“Little Yu, can you save my father? Bring him back to life?”

Liu Yingyue bit her lip, shamefaced but desperate as she turned to Qi Huang once more.
“‘Bring him back to life’? Do you think I’m a god? The dead don’t return. If I could revive corpses, why would I still be wasting time with these amateurs?”
Qi Huang rolled her eyes.
“Then what can I do?”
Tears streamed down Liu Yingyue’s face. Finding no solution, she suddenly dropped to her knees before Qi Huang.
“Little Yu, I beg you—save my father! If you can help him, I’ll do anything you ask!”
“Anything?”
Qi Huang’s eyes gleamed.
“Yes! Anything, even if it means becoming your slave!”
Liu Yingyue vowed firmly.
For a brief moment, Qi Huang was elated, but then reality set in. ‘Tch, if I were still a man, would you dare say that?’
Shaking off the thought, she helped Liu Yingyue up. “Relax. I still need him as a witness. I can’t bring him back to life, but I can preserve him as he is now.”
“Really?”
Liu Yingyue wept with joy. “Little Yu, I’ll never forget this kindness. If you ever need me, I’ll help you even if it costs me my life!”
“That’s all I need.”
Qi Huang smiled in satisfaction. She had wanted a long-term partnership with the Golden Fortune Auction House. Now, she had their loyalty secured.
“Uncle Liu, the sunlight is too harsh for spirits. For now, please stay inside this spatial ring. Once your family matters are settled, I’ll take you somewhere spirits can move freely.”
Qi Huang gestured to Liu Zheng. The place she referred to was, of course, Pingshan Mass Burial Ground.
“I leave it to the Fairy’s arrangements.”
Liu Zheng had no objections.
Qi Huang stored him inside the ring, this would shield his soul from the sun’s Yang energy. Later, she’d take him to the burial ground. It was both a favor and… insurance. With Liu Zheng in her care, the Liu family wouldn’t dare scheme against her in future dealings.

With that settled, Qi Huang and Liu Yingyue headed back to the city.
“But the gates are closed!”
Liu Yingyue reminded her urgently.
“If a mere city wall could stop me, would I dare act so arrogantly?”
Qi Huang scoffed, then swept Liu Yingyue into a princess carry without warning.
“W-What are you—?!”
Before Liu Yingyue could finish protesting, the world spun around her, and the next moment, her feet touched solid ground again.
Staggering, she steadied herself with Qi Huang’s help, only to gape in shock. They were already inside the imperial capital.
“H-How did you…?”
“Just a flying talisman. Nothing special.”
Qi Huang brushed it off. ‘Best not to reveal everything.’
Liu Yingyue looked skeptical, but as a non-cultivator, she couldn’t argue.
The night passed without incident.
The next morning, Qi Huang excused herself from the Liu residence. Her target? Liu Biao, the man who’d soon fetch medicine for the Liu Ancestress. Once she identified the seller, it would be time to close the net.
By noon, Liu Biao finally set out, but not before informing his wife. Their affection seemed genuine.
“Be careful when getting the medicine. If anyone sees you, we’ll lose control over the old lady. If she opposes the marriage alliance, your plans will be ruined.”
Madam Liu warned repeatedly.
“Enough! You nag every single time!”
Liu Biao grumbled before sneaking out.
With her divine sense spanning miles, Qi Huang followed at a leisurely distance. She was curious, just who was selling such a peculiar drug?
