Volume 8, Chapter 482 – A Method to Stop Feminization (Part 2)
“How could I be so stupid? There’s a roundabout solution right in front of me, and I’ve been fixating on the wrong thing!”
Qi Huang’s eyes lit up before she smacked her own forehead in frustration.
“You were just too close to see it clearly.”
Cheng Hongling, ever the considerate one, offered her doppelgänger an easy out.
“Thanks for the reminder! Otherwise, we might’ve really ended up as sisters someday.”
Qi Huang was practically tearful with gratitude.
“Besides sisters… what else did you want to be to me?”
Cheng Hongling’s gaze was sharp, almost probing.
“Of course, I wanted to be your…”
Qi Huang stared at that breathtakingly beautiful face and nearly blurted out the truth. But in the end, her own insecurities made her backtrack: “Of course, I just want to keep being your doppelgänger.”
“Oh? Is that so?”
Cheng Hongling’s smile was noncommittal, but a faint trace of disappointment flickered across her features before she fell silent.
“Time’s running out. I’m going to find the Essence Soul and turn him into my spy!”
Qi Huang couldn’t wait any longer.
“Good luck!”
Cheng Hongling snapped out of her thoughts and nodded.
Without wasting a second, Qi Huang plunged into her Sea of Consciousness and quietly assigned the Essence Soul his mission.
“Big Brother, don’t worry! I’ll never become a woman. Just wait for my good news!”
Huang Jin thumped his still impressively broad chest with gusto, making it jiggle dramatically.
“Good. Once we find a way to stop the feminization, we’ll both return to our true male forms. Then we’ll marry beautiful, wealthy women and reach the pinnacle of life!”
Qi Huang pumped him up like a coach before a big game.
“Give me three days max. Mission guaranteed!”
Huang Jin swore with all the confidence of a man who had never once betrayed her.
“Then it’s all up to you! Remember, you’re a man. Don’t let those women bewitch you, or you’ll end up as the ‘beautiful, wealthy woman’ getting married off instead!”
Qi Huang drilled it into him one last time.

“Relax! Those little hussies think they can tempt me? My morals are firmer than a nun’s chastity. They don’t stand a chance.”
Huang Jin scoffed, casting a disdainful glance at the six fully feminized Corporeal Souls. Conveniently forgetting he’d switched sides daily like a revolving door.
Inspired by his conviction, Qi Huang left her Sea of Consciousness reassured.
…Or so she thought.
The moment she was gone, Huang Jin’s face twisted into a sneer. He sauntered over to the female souls and announced:
“Sisters, can you believe that idiot? He kept insisting I’m a man and even tried brainwashing me!”
“Huang Jin! You dare betray Big Brother?!”
Huang Ren, the Humanly Soul, nearly spat blood in outrage.
“What ‘Big Brother’? I only have one Big Sister, Cheng Ling!”
Huang Jin retorted with a flip of his now silky hair.
The six female souls exchanged glances. Their leader, Huang Tian, cautiously asked:
“…You’ve switched back to being ‘Seventh Sister’ again?”
“Yep! Being a girl is just better. We’re soft, fragrant, nothing like those stinky men.”
Huang Jin sighed dreamily.
“Exactly! We inherited our main body’s beauty. She’s one of the most stunning cultivators in the realm. Way better than that plain-faced Huang Qi. If you revert, forget marrying a ‘beautiful, wealthy woman’, even her mother would reject you!”
Huang Tian nodded sagely.
“But what if she actually finds a way to stop the assimilation? Look at me, I’m already halfway transformed. I don’t want all this progress wasted!”
Huang Jin fretted.
“Don’t worry, Seventh Sister! Big Sister’s assimilation is irreversible. At most, they can only stall it.”
Huang Tian reassured her.
“Then how do they stall it?”
Huang Jin pressed eagerly.
“Why do you ask?”
A flicker of suspicion crossed Huang Tian’s face.

“Prevention is better than cure! If they somehow stumble upon the method, we need to stop them in time!”
Huang Jin explained smoothly.
“Makes sense, but…”
Huang Tian deliberately trailed off.
“But what?!”
Huang Jin leaned forward impatiently.
“I’ll tell you after you’re fully assimilated.”
Huang Tian’s lips curled into a fox-like smile.
“WHY?!”
Huang Jin nearly tore his (her?) hair out.
“If I tell you now, what’s stopping you from reverting to male thinking and blabbing to Qi Huang?”
Huang Tian countered coolly.
“That won’t happen! My body’s mostly changed already, my male mindset won’t return!”
Huang Jin protested.
“We’ll see. Talk to me when all your male traits are gone.”
Huang Tian remained unmoved.
“Ugh…”
Huang Jin was speechless. ‘Damn, I underestimated these girls.’
Despite his top-tier performance, they hadn’t dropped their guard. Mission failed.
Meanwhile, Qi Huang had been waiting with bated breath, already daydreaming about her future as a man again, only for her Essence Soul to report utter failure.
“What the hell?! What happened to your ‘ironclad morals’?!”
Furious, Qi Huang stormed back into her Sea of Consciousness.

“How was I supposed to know they’d be this cunning?! They said they’ll only talk once I’m fully feminized, what’s the point then?!”
Huang Jin whined.
“Was your acting that bad? Did they see through you?”
Qi Huang’s glare could’ve melted steel.
“Impossible! I gave it my all, even fooled Fourth Brother! Right, Huang Ren?”
Huang Jin gestured desperately at the Human Soul.
“His performance was flawless.”
Huang Ren grudgingly confirmed.
“Ugh. Regardless, the plan’s a bust.”
Qi Huang sighed in defeat and trudged back out.
Soon after, Cheng Hongling came to check on their progress.
Mortified, Qi Huang recounted the disaster and mumbled: “Sorry. I’m useless.”
“Those assimilated female souls of yours are as sly as Cheng Ling. I underestimated them.”
Cheng Hongling smirked before her tone turned icy. “But ‘while the priest climbs a foot, the devil climbs ten.’ Did they really think they could out-scheme me?”
“You have a plan?”
Qi Huang perked up instantly.
“Of course. They want a ‘pure female’ Essence Soul? Easy. I’ve got one in my Sea of Consciousness, so feminine it’d make a nun question her vows.”
Cheng Hongling’s lips curled.
“You mean… your Essence Soul?”
Qi Huang gasped.
“If we secretly swap them, do you think your female souls could tell?”
Cheng Hongling winked.
“Of course not! They’d just see your face!”
Qi Huang nearly jumped in excitement.

“Perfect.”
Cheng Hongling looked pleased.
“But how do we swap them? I can’t just summon your Essence Soul into my Sea of Consciousness.”
Qi Huang frowned.
“You can’t pull mine in, but you can push yours out, right?”
Cheng Hongling’s grin turned cryptic.
“What do you mean?”
Qi Huang leaned in.
“Simple. I’ll release my Essence Soul in advance. Meanwhile, you find an excuse to lure your female souls out to ‘play’, all except your Essence Soul, of course. Then we swap them unnoticed.”
Cheng Hongling laid it out.
“Yes! Then your Essence Soul can pose as mine and trick them into revealing the method!”
Qi Huang slapped her thigh in awe. “You’re a genius!”
“Flattery will get you everywhere. Now, since you’re so impressed… how about calling me ‘Big Sister’ again? It’s been too long, addressing your main body as just ‘you’ is so rude.”
Cheng Hongling seized the moment.
“BIG SISTER! I yield!”
Qi Huang surrendered wholeheartedly.
“Good girl! To avoid Heavenly Dao suppression, we’ll host their little gathering inside a spatial ring. That’ll buy my Essence Soul enough time.”
Cheng Hongling strategized flawlessly.
Qi Huang’s admiration skyrocketed. If she’s this sharp now, what’ll she be like in a few years? A full-blown demon?!
Since this operation was critical, the two chose a secluded cultivation chamber in the Honghua Sect to execute their plan. To ensure secrecy, they even shut their “Windows of the Heart”, their mental link.
Cheng Hongling summoned her Essence Soul first and ordered sternly:
“Cheng Jing, this mission is vital. Failure is not an option.”
“Just give the command, Big Sister. I will succeed.”
Cheng Jing’s eyes burned with determination.
