Volume 8, Chapter 516 – You Might as Well Tie Me Up (Part 2)
Qi Huang excitedly rushed back to her residence with the rope meant for tethering cattle, her eagerness resembling that of a groom impatiently awaiting his wedding night.
Meanwhile, Cheng Hongling was equally restless. Like a nervous newlywed bride, she waited with flushed cheeks, the rosy hue on her face yet to fade.
“Here! I found the rope.”
Qi Huang proudly held up the rope as if presenting a treasure.
“That’s not an ordinary rope, is it?”
Cheng Hongling’s sharp eyes immediately noticed something unusual about it.
“Of course not. This was just bought by Elder Xiang to tie up…”
Qi Huang had been about to say “cattle”, but the words caught in her throat as she realized how inappropriate that would sound.
“Tie up what?”
Cheng Hongling pressed curiously.
“…Baskets.”
Qi Huang quickly improvised, then added, “Since cultivators have greater strength, the seller soaked it in a special solution to prevent breakage. It’s far more flexible than ordinary hemp rope. As long as you don’t struggle too hard, it should hold just fine.”
“Don’t worry, I definitely won’t struggle!”
Cheng Hongling reassured her again, then took the initiative. “But you… you have to be firm. Even if I squirm a little, ignore it. Whatever you do, don’t untie the rope.”
“Don’t worry, I love a little squirming.”
The corner of Qi Huang’s lips curled up slightly.
“Why?”
Cheng Hongling was baffled.

“Ahem, never mind!”
Qi Huang coughed dryly to steady herself, then urged impatiently, “Shall we begin?”
Cheng Hongling didn’t answer. Instead, she rose gracefully and walked toward the bed, lifting her jade-like legs elegantly before lying down. She closed her beautiful eyes as if resigned to her fate.
Qi Huang approached with the solemn reverence of a pilgrim. Cheng Hongling lay flat on the large bed, her upper body draped only in a thin gauze. Under the dim light, her fair skin was faintly visible, the rosy flush of shyness peeking through like a hidden secret. Her hands rested on her waist, making the curves beneath her embroidered dudou all the more pronounced. Even lying flat, they stood tall and proud, trembling slightly with each rapid breath like mountains shaking during an earthquake. Truly, a sight that could be admired from every angle.
Her lower half was clad in a water-blue high-waisted skirt, its thin fabric doing little to conceal anything. Instead, it clung like a second skin, outlining the curves of her slender legs so perfectly they resembled a pair of chopsticks, straight and seamless, with not even a sheet of paper’s gap between them.
“Come on! Hurry up and tie me!”
The longer Cheng Hongling lay there, the more nervous she became, and she couldn’t help but urge Qi Huang on.
“O-okay…”
Qi Huang snapped out of her daze, stammering. Heaven knew how much of an impact such a request from a peerless fairy had on a “man”.
Qi Huang cast a Divine Sense barrier before sitting at the edge of the bed. Taking a deep breath, she raised the rope to begin binding Cheng Hongling, but her trembling hand froze midair.
After a moment of hesitation, Qi Huang set the rope aside and reached out to remove Cheng Hongling’s clothes instead.
“What are you doing?”
Cheng Hongling opened her eyes and asked in a voice as soft as a mosquito’s hum.
“Uh… at least we should take off the… outer clothes first. Otherwise, once you’re tied up, it’ll be harder to… take them off.”
Qi Huang’s guilty conscience made her explanation stutter.
“I’ll do it myself.”
Cheng Hongling took a deep breath, then sat up again, gracefully removing each layer of clothing until only a short, gauzy pleated undergarment remained at her waist. Under the lamplight, her body seemed to glow with an ethereal radiance, exuding an aura of sacred purity that forbade any defilement.

Qi Huang’s guilt intensified. She swallowed hard before steeling herself and picking up the rope again. The jade-like body before her was so delicate that she treated it like a priceless artifact, handling it with extreme care to avoid even the slightest harm.
Yet despite her caution, red marks from the bindings soon appeared on Cheng Hongling’s smooth skin, stark and alarming.
‘I didn’t mean to! I don’t have any weird fetishes, I swear!’
Qi Huang wanted to slap herself.
Cheng Hongling, already under immense psychological pressure and now physically uncomfortable, writhed like a serpent, urging impatiently, “Why are you hesitating? Hurry up! This is unbearable.”
Qi Huang steadied herself and reached for the last piece of fabric shielding Cheng Hongling’s modesty, her slender fingers hooking onto the waistband to pull it down.
Cheng Hongling turned her face away, her delicate body trembling violently, her skin flushing a vivid scarlet from head to toe.
‘After tonight, she’ll have no more secrets from me.’
Qi Huang’s hands shook again, as if she’d suddenly suffered a stroke. And precisely because of that, her sharp nails accidentally grazed the skin of Cheng Hongling’s hip.
“Ah!”
Stimulated by the sudden pain, Cheng Hongling instinctively struggled, and the rope, supposedly strong enough to tether a cow, snapped instantly.
Before Qi Huang could even process what had happened, a fragrant breeze brushed her face, followed by a petite jade foot slamming into her chest.
With only the cultivation level of the Spirit Gathering Realm, Qi Huang couldn’t withstand such force. Her body was sent flying, crashing into the wall before crumpling to the ground like a ragdoll.
Dazed from the kick, Qi Huang barely had time to protest before a metallic taste filled her throat, she spat out a mouthful of blood.
“Ah! Are you okay?!”
Cheng Hongling was horrified. Forgetting her own disheveled state, she rushed over in a panic to check on Qi Huang.
“You… you said you wouldn’t struggle!”
Qi Huang lay weakly on the ground, her voice full of reproach.

“Sorry, it was a reflex! A pure reflex!”
Cheng Hongling apologized awkwardly, then cradled her doppelgänger in her arms.
“Seems this rope was still too fragile. I shouldn’t have gambled on it.”
Qi Huang laughed at herself, realizing she’d been too hasty, rushing into action without proper preparation.
“It’s fine, it’s fine!”
After checking her doppelgänger’s injuries, Cheng Hongling tried to console her.
“F-fine? Then why do I feel like I’m about to d-die? And I’m pretty sure I heard my ribs… snap.”
Qi Huang swallowed another mouthful of blood before asking with difficulty.
“Ribs? Oh, right, ribs. Well, they are broken, but only three or four.”
Cheng Hongling answered awkwardly.
“Then… why am I… coughing up blood?”
Qi Huang pressed anxiously.
“It’s nothing! Your organs were just nicked by bone fragments. You won’t die! Once I pull you into my Sea of Consciousness, these minor injuries will heal completely after a few days of recuperation.”
Cheng Hongling brushed it off with forced optimism.
“Minor injuries?!”
Qi Huang nearly burst into tears.
Not giving her doppelgänger a chance to complain further, Cheng Hongling immediately summoned Qi Huang into her Sea of Consciousness.

Once inside, Qi Huang no longer felt any pain, her entire body relaxing instantly without a physical form.
‘Whew! Thank goodness I’m just a doppelgänger. Otherwise, that kick would’ve put me out of commission for at least ten days.’
Qi Huang shuddered at the thought.
Meanwhile, in the outside world, Cheng Hongling began dressing again, her face burning even redder, not from shyness this time, but from sheer embarrassment. After all, as the Honghua Sect’s top-ranked immortal seedling, breaking her word was utterly humiliating.
With her body injured, Qi Huang had no choice but to remain in the Sea of Consciousness. Fortunately, with nine “sisters” for company, including the rebellious Cheng Ling to bicker with. It wasn’t too boring.
‘What a shame. Next time, I’ll find an unbreakable rope and leave her no chance to struggle.’
Qi Huang plotted silently.
“Sorry. Next time, just suppress me with Divine Sense.”
Cheng Hongling’s mental voice chimed in at that exact moment.
“No! Rope is better!”
Qi Huang rejected the idea without hesitation.
“Why?”
Cheng Hongling was puzzled.
“If I have to apply medicine and focus on controlling Divine Sense, mistakes are bound to happen. Whether you or I get hurt, it’ll be bad.”
Qi Huang quickly explained. After all, this whole ordeal was far too stimulating for her, she couldn’t afford to split her focus. One misstep, and tonight’s disaster might repeat itself.
“Fine. Once you’re healed, we’ll find a sturdier rope.”
After a moment’s thought, Cheng Hongling suggested, her idea coinciding perfectly with Qi Huang’s.
