Volume 8, Chapter 520 – Tell Me, Who Is the Real Monster (Part 1)
Qi Huang knew that if she didn’t produce some results, the sisters wouldn’t believe her, so she didn’t push the matter. Instead, she hurriedly urged her main body to return to their residence.
“Be a good girl, take off your clothes, and lie down. Tonight, no matter what, I will master the Doppelgänger Method. Otherwise, my boast will be exposed as empty talk.”
The oil lamp in the room flickered as Qi Huang toyed with the Phoenix-Patterned Bridal Cape in her hand, her expression unkind. She looked every bit like a domineering queen.
“Don’t use that commanding tone when saying something like that. It’s weird, you know? You make it sound like you’re abusing me.”
Cheng Hongling frowned, her willow-leaf brows knitting together.
“Then how should I say it?”
Qi Huang remained expressionless as she sought advice.
“You should say, ‘Please, elder sister, take off your clothes and lie down.’”
Cheng Hongling corrected her.
“Alright then. Please, elder sister, take off your clothes and lie down. This younger sister is about to make her move. And please, don’t struggle! Not that it would help anyway~”
Qi Huang did her best to adopt a respectful tone.
“Now you just sound like a yandere! Especially with that deathly pale face of yours, it’s downright chilling.”
Cheng Hongling frowned again but decided not to dwell on it. Instead, she made another solemn promise: “Don’t worry, this time, your elder sister absolutely won’t struggle. After all, I’m the Honghua Sect’s top immortal seedling!”
Having said that, Cheng Hongling swiftly removed her outer garments, leaving only a pair of pleated trousers, before gracefully lying flat on the large bed.
“Go on, tie me up. Make sure it’s tight, don’t hold back!”
“Pfft—That sounds even weirder! Like you’re asking me to abuse you!”
Qi Huang nearly burst out laughing.
“Enough nonsense! Are you going to tie me up or not?”
Cheng Hongling snapped, her face flushing with embarrassment and anger.
“You said it yourself. Don’t blame me for being ruthless.”
Qi Huang took a deep breath, steeled herself, and began the process of “five-flower binding” on her main body.
The so-called “five-flower binding” involved first draping the bridal cape over the main body’s jade-like neck, then splitting it forward to pass under both armpits. Next, it was wound downward along the arms before the wrists were twisted behind the back, crossed, and secured with the cape in a crisscross pattern, tied tightly with two loops.
This effectively immobilized Cheng Hongling’s hands behind her back, leaving her upper body completely powerless to resist.

But Qi Huang wasn’t done yet. She then bent the main body’s legs backward, using the lower end of the cape to bind the ankles together in the same crisscross fashion.
With her hands and feet bound together, Cheng Hongling could only arch her back like a drawn bow, her body stretched taut. The Phoenix-Patterned Bridal Cape served as the bowstring, pulled rigidly straight.
“You’re quite skilled at this. Have you tied people up often before?”
Cheng Hongling managed to sneer despite her discomfort.
“No choice. After last time’s lesson, I have to be extra careful. Please bear with it.”
Qi Huang explained guiltily.
“At least let me lie on my side. This position is unbearable, I can barely breathe.”
Cheng Hongling frowned, her chest pressed heavily against the bed by her own weight, making it extremely uncomfortable.
“No can do. If I let you down, you’ll have more room to struggle.”
Qi Huang shook her head.
“You won’t even listen to me now? This treasure can restrain even a peak Incarnation Realm cultivator, let alone someone like me.”
Cheng Hongling was genuinely surprised.
“For safety’s sake, I really can’t oblige.”
Qi Huang remained unmoved.
“Are you untying me or not?”
Furious, Cheng Hongling instinctively struggled, but the Phoenix-Patterned Bridal Cape was incredibly resilient. Even with all her strength and True Qi, she couldn’t break free.
“Heh, save your energy.”
Qi Huang smirked mischievously.
“Fine. For the greater good, I’ll endure. Just hurry up.”
Cheng Hongling finally relented, panting heavily.
Qi Huang then took out the Anemia Paste and began applying it, covering most of the main body’s skin until only the sensitive area between the waist and thighs remained.
“Sorry, but for the sake of our plan, I must ask for your forgiveness.”
Qi Huang politely apologized before reaching for the gauzy pleated trousers.

As the doppelgänger’s hand approached, Cheng Hongling’s body trembled violently. Despite her earlier promise, she instinctively struggled again, but unlike last time, the Phoenix-Patterned Bridal Cape held firm.
“Heh, what can you do now?”
Qi Huang gloated, her fingers already brushing the edge of the trousers.
But just then—
“HELP! SOMEONE HELP!”
Cheng Hongling suddenly screamed at the top of her lungs.
Qi Huang froze in shock, utterly dumbfounded.
“S-Sorry! Reflex!”
Cheng Hongling flushed crimson with shame.
“Disciple, what’s wrong?!”
At that moment, Shi Yuqi’s voice rang out from outside, followed by hurried footsteps.
Qi Huang sent out her Divine Sense and saw her master already at the door. Panicking, she tossed aside the Anemia Paste and immediately fled into the main body’s Sea of Consciousness.
“Wait, don’t—!”
Cheng Hongling tried to stop her, but it was too late.
“Creak—”
The door swung open, revealing Shi Yuqi, who took one look at her disciple, bound in an awkward position, disheveled, and half-undressed, and gasped.
“Disciple! What happened?!”
“WAAAH! JUST LET ME DIE!”
Humiliated and furious, Cheng Hongling wished she could vanish into thin air, or at least bury herself under the blankets.
“Was there a pervert?! Did someone attack you?!”
Shi Yuqi grew even more worried, sitting on the bed to interrogate her.
“Mmmph! Mmm!”

Too embarrassed to speak, Cheng Hongling could only hide her burning face in the sheets.
“Don’t be afraid, Master will untie you!”
Shi Yuqi reached for the knots.
“WAIT! DON’T!”
Finally regaining some composure, Cheng Hongling lifted her head to stop her, her fair cheeks flushed like she’d drunk too much wine.
“Why not?”
Shi Yuqi’s hands hovered in mid-air.
“There’s no pervert. I… tied myself up.”
Cheng Hongling forced herself to explain.
“You tied yourself up? Why would you do that?”
Shi Yuqi was even more confused.
“I-I was testing the flexibility of the Phoenix-Patterned Bridal Cape.”
Cheng Hongling blurted out the first excuse that came to mind.
“Oh? Then why were you undressed?”
Shi Yuqi eyed her skeptically.
“Ugh… I wasn’t testing undressed! I was already undressed for bed and decided to test it while lying down. Is it a crime to sleep without clothes?!”
Cheng Hongling snapped, deciding to embrace the absurdity.
“Uh…”
Shi Yuqi was momentarily speechless. After all, everyone had their own habits. But then she frowned.
“Wait, that still doesn’t explain why you screamed for help.”
“Because I saw a bug! I already dealt with it using my spiritual power. Now please, just leave! And no matter what you hear in the future, don’t come in!”
Cheng Hongling waved her off impatiently.
“O-Okay… but call me if you’re in real danger.”

Reluctantly, Shi Yuqi left, glancing back every few steps.
“Get out here! Stop hiding!”
The moment the door closed, Cheng Hongling growled through gritted teeth.
Qi Huang knew she was being addressed and timidly emerged from the Sea of Consciousness.
“You ran fast. Left me to face the shame alone. What a wonderful doppelgänger you are.”
Cheng Hongling’s voice dripped with sarcasm.
“What else could I do? You screamed out of nowhere! If I, a man, had been caught here, it would’ve been a disaster!”
Qi Huang defended herself without thinking.
“If you don’t say anything, who would know you’re a man?!”
Cheng Hongling panted angrily.
“Oh. Right.”
Qi Huang looked down at herself and suddenly grinned. ‘I actually still think of myself as a man? How amusing.’
“You’re laughing?!”
Cheng Hongling’s teeth ground audibly.
“Sorry! My mistake!”
Qi Huang hastily apologized.
“Forget it. No time to argue. Let’s continue, but this time, gag me first.”
Cheng Hongling ordered, her tone brooking no argument.
“Got it!”
Qi Huang’s expression hardened. ‘This time, I will succeed.’
She promptly stuffed a clean handkerchief into Cheng Hongling’s cherry-like mouth before resuming her earlier task.
True enough, though Cheng Hongling still struggled instinctively, the Phoenix-Patterned Bridal Cape held firm, and her muffled cries went unheard. All she could do was writhe helplessly like a caterpillar.
