Lu Yao had had enough. She turned to Ai Qing and asked, “You’re doing this for money, right? So if you had enough money, you wouldn’t need to be a bodyguard?”

“Y-yes!”

Ai Qing stammered.

“Then don’t be one. Just come with me.”

Lu Yao pulled out a chunk of rare, high-grade spirit stone and tossed it to her.

Ai Qing barely managed to catch it, but before she could react, she was already being dragged out by Lu Yao.
