Volume 9, Chapter 620 – She Alone Slaughters Through Four Nations (Part 7)
“Ah! Help! Save me!”
Several surviving generals from the four-nation alliance no longer had the will to fight. They shrieked and stumbled as they tried to flee, legs trembling so badly that they tumbled over each other, appearing utterly wretched and panicked.
“Hmph! Trying to run?”
Qi Huang’s Divine Sense shot out of her body, instantly locking onto the six fleeing generals and pinning them in place. Then, she strolled toward them as if walking through a garden, her steps slow and unhurried.
The trapped generals struggled desperately, but it was pointless; they couldn’t even blink. Sweat cascaded down their contorted faces like heavy rain.
“All you generals of the Gaosheng Kingdom, the Xueyu Dynasty, and the Feisha Dynasty, listen well! Return to your armies and order your Grand Marshals to retreat at once. If, within five days, even a single soldier dares to remain within the Western Radiance Dynasty’s borders, not one of you will leave here alive.”
Qi Huang’s tone was cold and unyielding, though she was not a mindless butcher. She still chose to give them one final chance to live, otherwise she could have slaughtered them all right then and there.
“Y-Yes, yes, yes…”
Freed from her control, the generals from the three nations nodded frantically and fled in disgrace, scrambling away as if chased by death itself.
“You of the Beiling Kingdom are no exception. With your Grand Marshal dead, your forces should retreat. If, within five days, your army still dares linger within the Western Radiance Dynasty, I will personally send hundreds of thousands of your men straight back home.”
Qi Huang’s voice shifted slightly as she turned to the two surviving deputy generals of the Beiling Kingdom.
“Understood… We will obey without question…”
The two Beiling deputies nodded rapidly, sweat soaking through their armor.
Satisfied, Qi Huang allowed herself a faint smile before her figure flickered and vanished from sight. If victory could be won without fighting, that would be ideal.
However, she didn’t leave completely. Qi Huang wasn’t foolish enough to walk away blindly, she needed to make sure these generals would actually honor their promise.
With her Divine Sense now at the seventh layer of the Heavenly Tribulation Realm, she could easily envelop the entire northern border of the Western Radiance Dynasty. No movement among the four nations’ armies could escape her perception.
The generals from the Gaosheng Kingdom, the Xueyu Dynasty, and the Feisha Dynasty were thoroughly terrified and didn’t dare play any tricks. They immediately reported the events in the Beiling Kingdom’s command tent to their respective Grand Marshals upon returning.
Unfortunately, there are always those who refuse to cry until they see the coffin.

“Grand Marshal, the National Preceptor of the Western Radiance Dynasty also instructed me to tell you this: Within five days, we must withdraw our forces from their lands entirely. If even a single soldier remains, he vowed to wipe us out!”
In the Gaosheng Kingdom’s command tent, a nervous general with a thin mustache reported, his voice trembling.
“Ridiculous! How dare he utter such arrogant nonsense? To think he could kill the combined million-strong armies of four nations by himself, he must be delusional.”
The Grand Marshal of the Gaosheng Kingdom remained utterly unmoved. After all, he had not personally witnessed Qi Huang’s terrifying might.
“Grand Marshal, that man killed the Beiling Kingdom’s Grand Marshal in a single strike! His cultivation is likely at the legendary Heavenly Tribulation Realm. If that’s the case, we’re nothing but ants in his eyes. No matter how many of us there are, we would stand no chance.”
The thin-mustached general’s tone grew heavier as he restated his warning.
“Coward! A mere National Preceptor has frightened you this badly? If you dare shake the army’s morale again, I’ll have your head on a pike!”
The Grand Marshal’s roar silenced the tent.
“Y-Yes, Grand Marshal…”
The mustached general nodded meekly, too scared to utter another word.
“With the Beiling Kingdom’s Grand Marshal dead, all the better for us. They’ll retreat soon enough. Then, the Western Radiance Dynasty will belong to us, the Gaosheng Kingdom.”
Rather than worry, the Gaosheng Grand Marshal seemed delighted, murmuring confidently to himself.
Qi Huang extended her Divine Sense toward the other two nations and found the situation identical there, their Grand Marshals didn’t believe her capable of annihilating their armies single-handedly either.
“Heh, some people truly won’t cry until they see the coffin.”
Qi Huang sighed helplessly. She didn’t wish to kill, but they seemed determined to court death.
In the next instant, her figure materialized inside the Gaosheng Kingdom’s command tent.
“Who are you?”

The Gaosheng Grand Marshal blurted, his tone fierce though his heart trembled.
“G-Grand Marshal… he… he’s the National Preceptor… of the Western Radiance Dynasty!”
The goateed general stammered, pointing at Qi Huang with wide eyes.
“What do you want?”
The Grand Marshal finally regained his composure and spoke with false bravado.
“You said it yourself. Once the Grand Marshal dies, the army will naturally retreat. So why should I waste more time?”
Qi Huang’s mocking voice hung in the air.
The Gaosheng Grand Marshal’s expression shifted instantly. He reached for his sword, but before his hand even touched the hilt, his body burst apart like an overripe watermelon. Flesh and blood sprayed across the tent, drenching the nearby goateed general until he looked like a man carved from blood.
“Spare me, National Preceptor! Spare me, please!”
The goateed general fell to his knees, sobbing and snotting in terror.
“Half a day has passed. You now have four and a half days remaining.”
Qi Huang’s cold words lingered as her figure vanished.
She then moved on to the Xueyu Dynasty’s and Feisha Dynasty’s military camps, beheading their Grand Marshals without hesitation.
Qi Huang thought this would resolve the situation, but matters weren’t so simple. Though the armies technically needed to retreat after losing their commanders, they still required imperial approval first.
Unsurprisingly, none of the four nations’ emperors intended to back down. How could they willingly give up such a fat piece of meat? They instead ordered their armies to hold their positions, appointing new Grand Marshals and deploying numerous elite warriors and cultivators as guards.
Qi Huang finally realized she had been approaching this the wrong way. Some situations couldn’t be solved merely by cutting off heads. Even if she killed all four emperors, it would still be useless, because none of the soldiers truly understood the extent of her strength.
“In that case, don’t blame me for being ruthless!”

Gazing upon the displaced and suffering citizens of the Western Radiance Dynasty, Qi Huang’s patience finally snapped.
Five days later, the four allied armies still hadn’t withdrawn. The new Grand Marshals had already assumed command.
Outside the Beiling Kingdom’s central camp, countless elite experts patrolled cautiously. Among them were powerful martial masters and cultivators, some even at the Divine Realm. Though many came from renowned sects and cultivation clans, they had disguised themselves as rogue cultivators like Qi Huang to freely meddle in mortal wars.
Inside the command tent, the newly appointed Beiling Grand Marshal calmly discussed their next offensive strategy with his deputy generals. He had no belief whatsoever that a single “National Preceptor” could destroy his hundreds of thousands of troops, especially with so many elite guards protecting him.
“Grand Marshal, shouldn’t we check with the outer guards? Today is the sixth day. If that Western Radiance National Preceptor wasn’t bluffing, he could arrive at any moment,” a middle-aged deputy suggested nervously.
“What are you afraid of? With so many experts protecting us, do you truly think he can destroy our entire army alone? Focus on the battle map, or I’ll deal with you myself.”
The new Grand Marshal barked harshly.
“Exactly! Not only do we have the Beiling Kingdom’s strongest martial experts here, but the Supreme Grand Elder of our top cultivation sect has also arrived. What’s there to be afraid of? With a heart that timid, how can you hope to lead troops in war?”
A younger deputy sneered, seizing the chance to mock him.
Silenced, the middle-aged deputy shut his mouth and dared not speak again.
Outside the encampment, over a hundred martial and cultivation experts patrolled the perimeter. Among them, none surpassed Diao Pei, the Supreme Grand Elder of the Wuxuan Sect.
The Wuxuan Sect was Beiling Kingdom’s number-one cultivation sect, and Diao Pei, as its Supreme Grand Elder, had attained the late stage of the Divine Realm. Within the Western Radiance Dynasty, aside from Qi Huang, none could match him.
Perhaps it was this unmatched strength that made Diao Pei somewhat arrogant. He sat leisurely at a table, enjoying tea and pastries. Most of the surrounding elders behaved the same way, save for one anxious young elder.
“Supreme Grand Elder, do you really think that National Preceptor from the Western Radiance Dynasty dares to come?”
The young elder’s gaze darted warily around the skies as he spoke.
“He wouldn’t dare!”
Diao Pei waved his hand dismissively, voice utterly confident.

“But… if he really killed Grand Marshal Ran of the Beiling Kingdom in a single strike, doesn’t that mean her cultivation could be…”
The young elder trailed off, leaving the implication unsaid.
“What? Heavenly Tribulation Realm?”
Diao Pei chuckled coldly and replied, “Where would the Western Radiance Dynasty get a Heavenly Tribulation cultivator? Even the entire Western Continent doesn’t have one.”
“That’s right! Stop overthinking this. Those generals exaggerated her abilities to excuse their failure and avoid punishment.”
Another elder interjected smugly, and several others nodded in agreement.
“Is that so?”
The young elder still seemed unconvinced, scanning the skies carefully.
And then, he froze.
Far above, dozens of meters in the air, an unfamiliar silhouette hovered silently, unnoticed until this very moment.
‘Is that one of ours?’
The young elder’s heart pounded with uncertainty.
But before he could decide, the figure spoke.
“I warned you, if you don’t leave the Western Radiance Dynasty within five days, I will personally send you all back home. Since you refuse to leave, very well. Allow me, the National Preceptor of the Western Radiance Dynasty, to properly play the host!”
A hoarse, cold voice echoed across the skies.
Diao Pei shot up from his chair, his expression twisting in shock. He hadn’t sensed her approach at all.
