Volume 9, Chapter 624 – Feminization, Again (Part 2)
“Come on, you can’t possibly believe that the Blood-Tear Stain only lets its bearer see Lu Yao’s past when it’s on you, right?”
Qi Huang’s mocking words cut straight to the point.
“You… you can also see Lu Yao’s past? How is that even possible?”
Cheng Ling was caught completely off guard, her composure momentarily shaken.
“Why wouldn’t it be possible? You really thought you were that special? Let me tell you this, the only difference between us is time. So, if you know what’s good for you, you’ll tell me how to control the Assimilation Qi right now. Otherwise, when I figure it out myself, you won’t even have a chance to regret it!”
Qi Huang’s tone carried an icy edge.
“Tell you? And then what? You plan to stay stuck in this half-man, half-woman state forever? When the Heavenly Dao’s enforcers discover you, do you want everyone to die along with you? Since you can see Lu Yao’s past, you should know exactly what the Heavenly Dao is, and just how powerful it is.”
Cheng Ling quickly regained her calm.
“I don’t care what it is or how strong it is. If it wants to completely turn me into a woman, then I’ll make sure it disappears completely.”
Qi Huang’s voice was steady, unwavering.
“That’s because you don’t understand. The main body is already in danger. That Assimilation Qi comes from another Heavenly Dao, it can mask a person’s presence. But now, it’s been transferred to you. That means the main body is currently fully exposed to the Heavenly Dao’s enforcers.”
Cheng Ling paused, then shifted her tone to one of accusation: “And you… what are you doing? You’re desperately helping her increase her strength. That has already thrown her far off the destiny the Heavenly Dao arranged for her. Those enforcers could descend into this world at any time. If you don’t want her to die, you need to find enough Heaven-Deceiving Water to completely hide her presence.”
Qi Huang’s expression darkened at those words. She knew too much to think Cheng Ling was bluffing.
“And another thing, stop resisting. Let yourself become a woman completely. Otherwise, once someone with Yin-Yang Eyes catches sight of you, we won’t even need the Heavenly Dao to act; every powerful expert in this world will hunt us down.”

Cheng Ling added coldly.
“So what you’re saying is you want me to accept my fate?”
Qi Huang let out a low, mocking laugh. “Unfortunately for you, I’m just like Lu Yao! I’ll say it again: if you know what’s good for you, tell me how to control the Assimilation Qi. Otherwise, when I find the answer myself, you won’t even have the chance to regret anything.”
“Then we’ll see,” Cheng Ling sneered. “Whether you find the answer first or get completely assimilated first. I can feel it, you know. The assimilation of your soul essence has already started again.”
A mischievous, almost mocking smile crept onto Cheng Ling’s face. She had clearly decided to gamble everything. If Qi Huang were fully assimilated, she would finally be able to leave the main body’s Sea of Consciousness.
Qi Huang froze, stunned. She hadn’t expected Cheng Ling to be able to sense the progress of her assimilation.
Cheng Hongling’s expression shifted slightly upon hearing this, a trace of worry crossing her delicate features.
Seeing that Cheng Ling remained stubborn and uncooperative, Qi Huang and the main body had no choice but to leave the Sea of Consciousness.
Qi Huang handed over the last of her Heaven-Deceiving Water to the main body. “Use this first! We absolutely cannot let the Heavenly Dao’s enforcers find you. Otherwise, we might die before we even get the chance to act.”
Cheng Hongling accepted it, her face growing solemn. “Was what Cheng Ling said true? Is the assimilation continuing again?”
Qi Huang hesitated briefly, then forced a wry smile. “Yeah… I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because, back when I went to the border, we didn’t practice the Doppelgänger Method often enough.”
“That’s impossible. We resumed the practice immediately after you returned. If it had any effect, we would have seen results by now.”
Cheng Hongling shook her head gravely.
Qi Huang fell silent. Of course, she knew Cheng Hongling was right. She had only said that to soothe her.

Cheng Hongling bit her lip, falling deep into thought, before murmuring, “Looks like we’ll have to add some fuel to the fire.”
“What kind of fuel?” Qi Huang asked, puzzled.
Cheng Hongling said nothing more and turned to leave.
Qi Huang’s curiosity burned, but since the main body didn’t explain, she didn’t press further.
That night, Qi Huang entered Cheng Hongling’s private chambers as usual, intending to continue practicing the Doppelgänger Method. Even though she knew it likely wouldn’t affect her assimilation, it was still useful for strengthening the main body, so it remained necessary.
Cheng Hongling slowly slipped off her gauzy outer robe, her fair skin glowing faintly beneath the soft candlelight, casting a subtle, intoxicating atmosphere over the entire room.
Qi Huang’s gaze was drawn to her instinctively. Though she still found the main body’s figure tempting, the intense, soul-shaking allure she’d felt at the beginning had waned somewhat. She wasn’t sure if it was the infamous “seven-year itch” 1 A supposed tendency for married couples where after about 7 years, the initial romance and excitement fade or her gradual feminization taking effect.
Cheng Hongling was long accustomed to such openness with her doppelgänger. She lay prone on the bed, exposing her flawless, pale back and the elegant curve of her hips. Her smooth, flowing lines radiated an undeniable sensuality.
Qi Huang had seen this countless times, so she no longer made mistakes even while distracted. With practiced ease, she squeezed out some Anemia Paste and gently applied it to the main body’s back, all while allowing herself the luxury of quietly admiring the view.
Under her touch, Cheng Hongling’s smooth skin glistened softly with a delicate sheen, making her seem even more enticing.
When she finished applying it to her back, Cheng Hongling rolled over without hesitation, revealing everything openly. After so many repetitions, modesty had long since faded.
Qi Huang’s breathing quickened slightly, though she managed to maintain composure as she carefully spread the paste over Cheng Hongling’s front, starting with her flawless, identical face. Her movements were deft and precise, almost like applying delicate rouge, her gestures unexpectedly graceful and feminine.
Cheng Hongling frowned slightly, a subtle displeasure flashing across her beautiful face.

Qi Huang instantly noticed and paused instinctively, about to ask what was wrong.
But before she could speak, Cheng Hongling suddenly bit her lip, reached up, and grabbed Qi Huang by the neck, pulling her down forcefully.
Completely unprepared, Qi Huang froze, then suddenly felt soft, warm lips pressing against her own.
Her entire body trembled as if struck by lightning, the Anemia Paste slipping from her hand and falling to the ground with a soft thud.
Cheng Hongling’s movements were equally clumsy and shy. Her lips brushed Qi Huang’s briefly before she buried her flushed face beneath the covers.
Qi Huang sat frozen, her mind blank, utterly unprepared for this. It took a long moment before she finally managed to think again.
‘She kissed me? She… she actually kissed me? But she’s a dignified fairy!’
Absentmindedly, Qi Huang touched her lips, savoring the faint sweetness lingering there.
‘Does this mean… she’s confessing to me?’
Her heart pounded wildly at the thought.
“D-don’t… don’t misunderstand!” Cheng Hongling’s muffled voice came from under the blanket, her tone flustered. “Your… your body is… my doppelgänger. I was just kissing myself!”
“That’s… but then why… why would you want to kiss ‘yourself’?” Qi Huang asked, her voice tinged with stubborn longing.
“I kissed because I wanted to, that’s why! None of your business! Now get out, we’re not practicing tonight.”
Cheng Hongling shot upright, her entire face scarlet, shooing Qi Huang away with uncharacteristic impatience. Her imperious, flustered demeanor was nothing like the serene, untouchable fairy she normally was. Anyone else would have been shocked to see her like this.

“Uh…” Qi Huang could only blink in confusion before reluctantly retreating, glancing back at the door three times before leaving.
Back in her own quarters, Qi Huang lay awake, tossing and turning, unable to sleep. The kiss replayed endlessly in her mind… their very first kiss.
‘She knows exactly who I am, so why would she dare kiss me? Could it be… she really likes me? I’ve already seen everything, touched everything… and now I’ve stolen her first kiss too. As a “man”, shouldn’t I take responsibility? Should I confess? But… what if she rejects me? I… I’m still in a woman’s body right now…’
Qi Huang’s heart soared and sank in turns, alternating between excitement and despair.
She spent the entire night tangled in restless thoughts, but by morning, her emotions had settled. After some reflection, she finally realized: Cheng Hongling’s actions were deliberate. That kiss was a calculated move, to create intense psychological stimulation to halt her feminization.
‘I was overthinking it… again.’
Qi Huang gave a self-deprecating smile. Still, that kiss had shaken her deeply, and indeed, her feminization halted completely afterward. In the end, mental shock proved far more effective than mere sensory stimulation.
‘If she’s willing to go this far just to “enhance the medicine’s effect”… what would she do if the assimilation continues? Would she… give herself to me?’
Qi Huang buried her face in her pillow, a giddy smile spreading across her lips.
A few days later, a group of unexpected guests arrived at the gates of the Honghua Sect. The Lü family from the Central Continent had come to arrange a marriage proposal. This time, Lü Yi was accompanied not only by his parents but also by a large entourage of relatives and servants, nearly fifty people in total, underscoring just how much they valued Cheng Hongling as their future daughter-in-law.
