Volume 11, Chapter 778 – Exterminating the Immortal Alliance (Part 4)
Seeing such a lineup, even Qi Huang’s relatives and friends on her side began to lose their composure. After all, that was the Immortal Might!
“Um… Junior Sister, should we… should we leave?”
Beside her, Ruan Lingyu asked cautiously.
“It’s just a bit of Immortal Might, nothing more. No need. You should eat and drink as you please.”
Qi Huang spoke with calm indifference. Immortal Might was nothing more than the lingering aura of one who had achieved immortality. It was not the true suppression of Divine Sense. How could it possibly harm her?
Upon hearing this, her relatives and friends felt their last trace of worry dissolve completely, and they went on eating and drinking.
“This little demoness must be insane, right? If I recall correctly, the Immortal Stele of Zhizun Peak is far stronger than the one from Huarong Sect. Is she really planning to take it head-on?”
“You remember correctly. Even if the Immortal Stele of Huarong Sect were intact, it would only reach Master-grade Six Tribulations, ranking sixth among the nine Immortal Steles. Zhizun Peak’s Immortal Stele, however, is Master-grade Eight Tribulations, ranking third among the nine. Though it is only two tribulations stronger, killing a mere mortal with it is more than effortless.”
“Besides, the clash of Immortal Steles is extremely terrifying. The residual might alone is not something ordinary people can withstand. Yet she allows those rebels to continue eating and drinking. Does she want to use them as shields?”
Countless onlookers were utterly baffled.
“Wife, are you sure you don’t want these relatives and friends to move further away? I know you can withstand Immortal Might, but at such close range, are you certain you can protect them?”
Cheng Hongling asked with uneasy transmitted thoughts.
“Don’t worry, husband. I will cut off the Immortal Might midway and not let it reach here.”
Qi Huang explained softly, a stark contrast to the male persona who liked to play mysterious.
“My wife is truly wise!”
Cheng Hongling’s beautiful eyes lit up, and she stood reassured at the side.
“The ignorant are fearless. Do you really think the Immortal Stele of Huarong Sect can resist ours of Zhizun Peak?”
Zheng Kun, preparing to attack, was very surprised. He had thought the demoness before him would flee.
“Try it and see.”
Qi Huang didn’t waste words. Her beautiful eyes remained fixed on the Shadow-Retaining Mirror before her, which continued to display evidence of the Immortal Alliance’s crimes when she had entered Kapok Valley Treasure Land.

“Hmph, so it’s the Lü family’s Immortal Stele that gives you confidence!”
Zheng Kun glanced at the Lü family with disdain, then said confidently: “Today, this elder will make you understand what it means that there are always higher heavens, always stronger steles. Die!”
The moment he spoke, Zheng Kun stamped his feet and shattered the ground beneath. His figure vanished, while the spear in his hand blazed with crimson flames as the infused True Qi ignited the intricate runes upon it, scorching the very air.
Qi Huang did not dodge. Her formidable Divine Sense once again emerged from her body, pressing down upon Zheng Kun.
Puchi!
Before Zheng Kun could reach Qi Huang, he followed the fate of Elder Xiao. His body instantly exploded into a mist of blood that dispersed into the wind. His spear clattered to the ground with a sharp clang, while only a Life Soul remained, standing bewildered. That was only because Qi Huang had shown mercy.
Her strike had been swift, accurate, and ruthless. Only after Zheng Kun’s body was destroyed did Zhizun Peak’s Immortal Stele finally react.
At the peak of Zhizun Peak, the massive Immortal Stele shuddered violently, unleashing a terrifying torrent of Divine Sense that shot into the heavens before plunging southward toward the Immortal Alliance’s main headquarters. Along its path, the very fabric of space shattered, mountains quaked, and the land within dozens of miles trembled violently.
But Qi Huang had already locked onto Zhizun Peak’s Immortal Stele. She would never allow this Immortal Might to reach her, for that would endanger her loved ones nearby.
With a thought, a single strand of hair from her head rose skyward and shot toward the oncoming Immortal Might from Zhizun Peak in the west.
Both forces moved with the speed of meteors. One grand and imposing, the other silent and subtle. They met high above a desolate forest.
The strand of hair did not crash recklessly against it. Instead, it writhed like a serpent, the sharp tip slicing through the sky like a blade.
Tear…!
With a crisp sound, the void itself split apart, forming a massive crack over a hundred zhang wide.
The Immortal Might of Zhizun Peak, accompanied by overwhelming momentum, plunged straight into the rift and vanished into the Immortal Realm on the other side without even a ripple.
The strand of hair, its task done, quietly returned. The passive defense of the Immortal Stele was unlike an active strike; it could not lock onto a target. Thus, there was no fear of the Immortal Might returning. It was gone for good.
Though this process seemed long, in Qi Huang’s perception alone, for the others it all happened within the blink of an eye.
Only then did Zhizun Peak’s disciples emerge from their halls.
“What’s going on?”

“It’s the Immortal Stele! The Stele has been activated!”
“Haha! I never thought I’d live to see the Immortal Stele activated. I wonder which fool provoked Zhizun Peak, they’re as good as dead!”
“It must be Cheng Hongling and Qi Huang with those rebels. I heard they went to trouble the Immortal Alliance today. Elder Zheng would never let them go unpunished.”
The disciples of Zhizun Peak ran out, shouting in excitement.
Meanwhile, outside the Immortal Alliance headquarters, the only thing the onlookers witnessed was Zheng Kun being instantly slain.
Silently, Qi Huang used her Divine Sense to capture Zheng Kun’s Life Soul and placed it next to Elder Xiao on a chair, before returning her gaze to the Shadow-Retaining Mirror as if nothing had happened, calm as a noble lady.
Zheng Kun, immobilized, wore a face full of confusion. He had no idea what had just transpired.
“What happened? Where is Zhizun Peak’s Immortal Might? How did Elder Zheng die just like that?”
The countless onlookers, unable to see any trace of the Immortal Might, glanced around in bewilderment.
“Hehehe, Elder Zheng, where’s the Immortal Might of your Zhizun Peak? Where did it go?”
Shen Yuan stepped out to mock.
“Elder Zheng, don’t tell me you’re another fraud like Elder Xiao?”
Ruan Lingyu added to the blow.
“Or maybe, just as the spectators are saying, you were a disgraceful descendant, so the Immortal Stele ignored you.”
Yun Fei struck while the iron was hot.
“Or perhaps… you weren’t even your parents’ child at all.”
Su Qingying sneered venomously.
“Senior Sister, I know he might not be his father’s son, but how could he not be his mother’s?”
Miao Xiang asked curiously.

“You’re so silly. If his mother couldn’t bear children, they might’ve had no choice but to adopt. That’s what people call infertility. For the sake of face, they wouldn’t admit it publicly.”
Su Qingying said with conviction.
“Ohhh!”
Miao Xiang nodded vigorously, as if a chick pecking at rice.
Elder Zheng’s Life Soul flushed crimson with rage, but no matter how he struggled, he could not break the Divine Sense restraints binding him.
The others of Zhizun Peak were fuming as well, but under such circumstances, who dared step forward to court death?
“Where’s the Immortal Might? Where is Zhizun Peak’s Immortal Might?”
Lu Lin demanded, face twisted with fury, glaring at the Zhizun Peak members.
But they were bewildered, stammering without an answer.
“Could it be that this old man’s name was never inscribed upon the Immortal Stele?”
Lu Lin pressed further.
“Impossible! My second brother’s name is indeed inscribed on Zhizun Peak’s Immortal Stele, everyone knows this.”
Zhizun Peak’s sect master, Zheng Qian, declared with certainty.
“Then where’s the Immortal Might? Where did it go? Don’t tell me he really was some illegitimate bastard.”
Lu Lin asked through clenched teeth.
“Please calm yourself, Alliance Leader Lu. I will use the Thousand-Mile Communication Tube to inquire with the sect at once.”
Zheng Qian was also puzzled and quickly contacted his sect.
By now, the Shadow-Retaining Mirror had been playing for a long while, exposing the Immortal Alliance’s vile deeds of abducting young girls as bait.
“So she was telling the truth. Who would’ve thought that the so-called government office of the cultivation world would stoop to such shameless acts?”

“Bah! Government office of the cultivation world? More like a den of bandits!”
“Damn it! Ridiculous! I even asked them to help find my daughter. Eight or nine chances out of ten, they were the ones who abducted her. Those beasts!”
The onlookers could no longer restrain themselves, cursing furiously.
“Well then, Alliance Leader Lu, now that we have both human and material evidence, what else do you have to say?”
Qi Huang put away the Shadow-Retaining Mirror and questioned Lu Lin.
“I never expected… that the one posing as Wenren’s daughter was you demonesses. And the ones who killed three of my Immortal Alliance elders was you as well!”
Lu Lin ground his teeth in hatred, wishing he could tear Qi Huang apart alive.
“Not only that, but everyone you sent out to cause trouble was killed by me. I truly apologize for that.”
Qi Huang expressed her apology with grace.
“…”
The veins on Lu Lin’s forehead bulged, nearly bursting from Qi Huang’s infuriatingly polite tone.
But Qi Huang ignored him and turned back. “Dear relatives and friends, does anyone wish to add more to the list of crimes committed by the Immortal Alliance?”
“I do!”
Mu Ruoyi stood eagerly and accused the Immortal Alliance of failing to uphold justice when Shuiyu Valley was suppressed by the Lü family’s Immortal Stele. Instead of defending fairness, they struck them further, revoking Shuiyu Valley’s qualification as a state-level sect.
At this, the Lü family members’ faces turned pale with fear, for Qi Huang’s current strength was terrifying beyond words.
“Alliance Leader Lu, I have already asked the people of Zhizun Peak. The Immortal Stele was indeed activated, but somehow the Immortal Might never arrived.”
By then, Zheng Qian had received word from his sect and reported to Lu Lin.
“How is that possible?”
Lu Lin was dumbfounded. He turned mechanically toward Qi Huang and demanded: “What did you do? How could you possibly block Immortal Might?”
