Volume 12, Chapter 795 – The Descent of an Immortal (Part 1)
“Is it Ancestor Cao Yin?”
Even though Cao Meng had lived for four or five centuries, his eyes reddened at this moment. He truly could not bear the cost of failure.
“I am Cao Yin. You are my descendant?”
The elderly voice confirmed.
“Yes, Grandson Cao Meng, your tenth-generation descendant. I have an urgent matter and humbly beg for your help.”
Cao Meng explained with visible excitement.
“Do not panic. Speak slowly, tell me everything.”
Cao Yin’s tone softened, after all, he was speaking to his own descendant.
“Ancestor, the matter is this: a completely unprecedented young demonic woman has appeared in the cultivation world…”
Cao Meng briefly explained the situation regarding Cheng Hongling and Qi Huang.
“What? Barely in her twenties, and already possesses the strength of an Immortal?”
Cao Yin was visibly shaken after hearing this.
“Grandson is uncertain, only guessing.”
Cao Meng replied cautiously.
“Judging from her display, her strength has indeed reached the Human Immortal Realm.”
Cao Yin assessed and responded after a moment of thought.
“Is that so? No wonder she’s so powerful, no one in the entire cultivation world can do anything to her. Thankfully, we did not directly provoke her.”
Cao Meng said with lingering fear.
“What kind of cultivation method did this girl practice? How could her Divine Sense reach the Immortal Realm in her twenties?”
Cao Yin immediately asked.
“That is precisely what this grandson wishes to know. That is why I seek your aid, Ancestor. If we could acquire such a cultivation method, our entire Cao Clan would benefit endlessly.”

Cao Meng clearly stated his intentions.
“Then what do you plan to do? And what role do you require of me?”
After a brief contemplation, Cao Yin asked.
“I plan for my grandson Cao Yang to marry that girl, and to have her name engraved upon the Immortal Stele you left behind. However, with her temperament, she will certainly never yield. Thus, I wish to beg you, Ancestor, to act and suppress her when the time comes.”
Cao Meng revealed his plan.
“Not bad. That is indeed a clever method.”
Cao Yin nodded in agreement, but with some hesitation, said, “I truly wish to help, but you must know that I am an Immortal. It is impossible for me to shatter space in reverse and return to the cultivation realm.”
“Ancestor, you should be able to determine my location, yes? Once you arrive there, I will find a way to shatter the space barrier. When the time comes, you will be able to intervene.”
Cao Meng proposed his idea.
“With our Soul Resonance, as long as I have enough time, I should be able to locate you. But you… are you certain you can hold on that long? At least a few days… at most, half a month.”
Cao Yin hesitated slightly.
“For the sake of the Cao Clan, even if it costs this old life of mine, it is worth it. I only ask that Ancestor hasten your pace.”
Cao Meng spoke with unshakable resolve.
“Since even a junior like you shows such devotion to the family, how could I, as your elder, make excuses any longer? Endure a little longer. I will act at once.”
Cao Yin declared righteously. In truth, he was also driven by his own desire. After all, the “cultivation method” that Qi Huang practiced was simply too enticing to resist.
Meanwhile, in the Western Radiance Dynasty, Qi Huang’s sinister companions had already been prepared. She was going to transport them to the Yin Planet.
Qi Huang brought Cheng Hongling to the Pingshan Mass Burial Ground, then took out ten Spatial Rings to store all the fiendish specters, as well as another dozen filled with supplies, before soaring into the sky.

After about a day’s journey, Qi Huang arrived at the Yin Planet and released all the fiends.
Hundreds of fiends gazed upon the desolate land before them, their expressions grim. Yet, knowing they had no right to bargain, they could only accept reality.
“Everyone, don’t worry. I will help you transform this planet. It won’t be long before this place teems with vitality.”
Qi Huang said with a grin, then began unloading numerous supplies. Not only seeds of plants, but also soil, ice, and even “fertilizer”.
As for the fertilizer, it was made from Cheng Hongling’s blood. After all, her cultivation was high, and the effect was remarkable.
“You plan to have them grow Ghost Tomatoes?”
Cheng Hongling looked speechlessly at the seeds, most of which were Ghost Tomato seeds.
“Well, since they’re planting anyway, what does it matter what they plant?”
Qi Huang replied with a smug smile. In truth, this step had long been part of her plan. Ghost Tomatoes, being a poisonous species, could not be grown in great numbers on the cultivation continent… but here, there was no such concern. No living beings would be harmed, and no one could complain.
The pitiful fiends had no idea they had become mere laborers, and so they obediently began their work transforming the land.
“There still aren’t enough fiends for now. When I gather more manpower in the future, I’ll have them cover the entire universe with Ghost Tomatoes.”
Qi Huang declared her “grand” ambition.
Cheng Hongling was a little taken aback, then remarked, “Your dream is impressive indeed, but where will you get that many people?”
“Don’t forget, there are still so many fiends across the cultivation world. Any who wish to come, I will grant their wish. Those who refuse, I’ll just kill them all. I’m a rather kind person, you know.”
Qi Huang said, winking mischievously.
“You really are wasting your talent not joining my father in business.”
Cheng Hongling shook her head speechlessly, though inwardly, she couldn’t help feeling a warm pride. Her lover’s mind was indeed quite clever.
Since the transformation of the Yin Planet had only just begun, Qi Huang had to travel back and forth between the Yin Planet and Lishui Planet every day. But her efforts were worthwhile. Thanks to the incredible effect of the “fertilizer”, seeds would sprout within half a day, and within two or three days, lush greenery would flourish everywhere. It was like witnessing magic.
The fiends finally showed smiles on their faces, for they had at last seen hope.

At that very moment, in the Cao Clan, Cao Meng could no longer stand upright. Seated on a chair, he continued the blood sacrifice. His appearance had aged drastically, his face full of wrinkles, dark age spots spreading across his skin, he now looked no different from an ordinary eighty-year-old man.
“Father! Perhaps it’s time to stop?”
Cao Hui urged beside him.
“Yes, Grandfather, forget about marrying Cheng Hongling and Qi Huang, I don’t want them anymore. Your health is more important.”
Cao Yang also transmitted mentally in despair. Seeing his grandfather so frail, he finally understood that nothing was more precious in this world than family affection.
“Once the bow is drawn, there is no turning back! If I give up now, won’t all my efforts be wasted? For the future of the Cao Clan, I am willing to shed every last drop of blood!”
Cao Meng’s voice trembled as he spoke aloud clearly for every clan member present to hear.
“Our Clan Head is so righteous! Truly, the Cao Clan must have been blessed by our ancestors to have such a leader!”
“Yes! Even though Cao Kun’s branch spoke ill of him before, he never held a grudge. Such magnanimity!”
“After this, the Cao Kun branch must apologize to the patriarch, or I’ll be the first to object!”
The gathered clansmen praised fervently.
Members of the Cao Kun branch could only wear awkward expressions.
“Second Uncle, are you sure Cao Meng really summoned the Ancestor for Father’s vengeance?”
Cao Ying sent a mental transmission to Cao Kun.
“Who knows?”
Cao Kun sneered coldly.
“It doesn’t matter. Once Ancestor Cao Yin appears, his thoughts won’t matter. Ancestor will definitely avenge my father.”
Cao Ying asserted.
“Why are you so certain?”

Cao Kun asked in confusion.
“Isn’t it obvious? Blood is thicker than water. How could he possibly forgive those who killed his own descendants?”
Cao Ying reasoned confidently.
“Is that so?”
Cao Kun smiled faintly, but an ominous premonition grew stronger in his heart.
At this moment, before the Immortal Stele, the exhausted Cao Meng finally received the response of his ancestor.
“Alright, I have located your position. Stop the blood sacrifice.”
Cao Yin’s voice echoed in Cao Meng’s mind.
Cao Meng collapsed weakly onto the chair, letting out a long breath of relief.
“Father, how did it go?”
Cao Hui quickly asked.
“Success. Ancestor Cao Yin has already arrived at the other side of the Immortal Realm. Once we break the space barrier, we will see him.”
Cao Meng forced himself to speak with spirit.
“Hahaha… wonderful… it worked… the Clan Head has succeeded!”
“Our ancestors bless us! Our Cao Clan will finally have vengeance!”
“Not only that, once our ancestor descends, who in the cultivation world would dare oppose us? Those so-called Dao Alliance and Immortal Alliance? They’re nothing but worthless dogs!”
Members of the Cao Clan rejoiced, their voices full of arrogance.
Cao Yang trembled with excitement, asking eagerly, “Grandfather, when shall we break the spatial barrier?”
“Do not rush. I must rest for a few days. For now, send invitations throughout the land. Invite every notable figure across the cultivation world to come to our Cao Clan on the first of next month to witness the glory of Ancestor Cao Yin. I will show them who truly rules the cultivation realm now.”
Cao Meng commanded with great vigor.
